Ive been a member for years. They were closed for months. Then raised the rates, so that was cool. I would honestly give a 1 star but they are the only ones fighting the fight, so I continue to support no matter the cost

$10 to use the public range (10-100yds) as a non-member. They supply the targets. They have sand bags, spotting scopes available for you. They stop the range every hour to hang up new targets (they hang them up, not you.). On Saturdays there are usually 2 or more range officers at the public range making sure you are safe. Bring or buy an empty chamber flag and onbox your firearm at the line.

Great place for new shooters to have safe environment to shoot. Membership not worth the brain damage. Range has been closed due to covid 19 for the last two months but I still got notice for membership dues right on time! Then they send out an email saying they are closing the members only side of the range because people have not been wearing a face mask on the range. So now you can go to a restaurant and eat, or go play golf but you cant go to an outside rifle Range? Seems like club officers just want to treat members like children. Im done.

This wasnt my first rodeo. Ive had plenty of shooting range experiences. Post for reviews or bad impressions come from customers having a hard time with the on-site staff. Gun ranges are a tricky situation, obviously safety is of the utmost importance. All of that said in my experience Emerald Empire Gun Club is by far the nicest shooting range that Ive ever been to. Im talking about the way the people working there treat you. I cant say anything else, its the best that Ive experienced. I didnt have any problems moving from the different distances or having to pay extra in order to do that maybe they do that on different days than when I went. I did notice the rangemasters patrolling the area while I was shooting but I thought that they were very personable. They didnt bother me at all.

Went during their open to the public hours. Volunteers on hand were very welcoming and friendly. Brought a new AR build and red dot that had never been shot or dialed in. Rangemaster genuinely seemed more exited than I was when I got it to tag center circle with every shot. It was raining while we were there, but the covered lanes kept us dry and comfortable. Targets were changed regularly (even in the rain) so I had clean paper to sight in with. Spotting scopes are free to borrow which was an unexpected plus. Beautiful location, great staff when we were there. Targets only go out to 100 yards, but other than that, Ill be back.

Its not the best or the worst your only able to use the 100yd range if your not a member. To become a member get ready to have your wallet become lighter. ...Its 10 dollars for the day at the 100yd range for none members. But if you live in the area and 100yds is all you need then it will work for ya.

Agreed they dont rent guns or sell ammo. They require you to use Chamber flags and push it really hard. Yet I understand why. Have 100 guns on tables its easier to clear them all to change targets, so we can get back to what we are there for. Its an outdoor range so it can get cold. Luckily they tend to keep a fire going and give free coffee to warm you up.

Beautiful outdoor range, with great range safety officers who are helpful as much as they enforce safety. Which is IMPORTANT.!!!For non-members (as myself) You can only shoot Thur-Sun 10am-4pm. If you are a member you can pretty much shoot everyday all day. They DO NOT SELL AMMO HERE so make sure you bring more then enough to shoot. Thats my only Complaint but everything else about the place is amazing.My wife, kids and myself shoot all the time and this is my go to range.

Staff is obnoxiously tense and waiting for you to violate one of their thousand rules.

Shooting out there can vary wildly, one day I can shoot all day and have fun, the next my brass will be picked up as fast as I shoot it, claiming its for the kids shooting team. Not sure where the kids shoot at because the indoor range is shut down. My wife used to shoot reduced silhouettes out there but they stopped doing that because it was politically incorrect to shoot iron chickens. Bottom line, is Ive met some good people out there and others with control issues. Ill shoot out there again when its worth the 10 bucks for them to change my targets for me but wont be shooting any semi autos other than .22s due to the brass policing issues. edited to add: Drove a half hour to get there today, web site said open to the public today from 10 am to 4pm got there at 10:30 people were in there shooting behind the locked gate. 3 car loads of people outside the gate but no-one came to let us know what was going on. I wanted to shoot some and find out about the shotgun fun shoot to be held on Saturday. So no shooting and no information I guess Ive spent enough time and money out there. Wonder what the dues are for Izzack Walton?

Excellent range. They have really given it a face lift over the last few years. Best $10 you can spend for an afternoons entertainment.

Read other reviews on yelp. Great place and seen a lot of safe family sharing, teaching and enjoying the firearm sport. Fist checked in with my rifle in a hard. See and found a lane during a safe (no shooting) time and followed rules until it was safe to shoot. Shot for 1.5 hours without an issue. Once we were done I followed rules on putting the rifle away safely and rounded my range bag up and got ready to leave as they called safe time again ( no shooting). When others were out changing targets we picked up my unloaded rifle that was in a closed hardcase and proceeded to leave. We were walking in the walkway behind the yellow line and the fence. As we were nearing the exit a volunteer with a vest and a cigarette in his mouth stepped in front of us and said put it down theres no firearm handling during safe time. We were literally three feet from exit and the parking were the rules are highly less regulated. I set it down at the exit and waited nearly ten minutes till it was clear to fire again and he stepped aside and said it was ok to pick up my unloaded firearm that was in a hardcase and continue to leave. I walked by and spoke to two volunteers walking in with my firearm during a safe time without a problem. I walked by one volunteer while leaving till this rude power trip of a man volunteer stepped in and I wasnt talked to or anything. I believe in firearm safety or else I wouldnt be at a range to do so. I am not a punk kid who thinks Im right and your wrong. I would only hope if theres a difference on when you handle coming then when your handling when your leaving. Also most everyone there was great and happy except the one guy who must have power issues and has to be in control over everyone in his life clouded my day and experience to continue coming. Been in the past without an issue. Today was busy and I guess if its busy get ready to be yelled at. Volunteers were pointing in faces of people and telling them what they did wrong like they were in the military.
