We are SO glad we had Alex from Boogie Down Beats as the DJ at our wedding! Im going to be completely honest...the DJ was the part of the wedding I was most anxious about. I feel like the DJ can really make or break a wedding, and let me tell you. Alex was FANTASTIC. He spoke with my husband and I on the phone before we even booked him, was quick to answer any questions we had during the wedding planning process, and video chatted the week of the wedding to make sure everything was ironed out. He played music at our ceremony as well, and while we had some unique song requests, he was able to find the songs and play everything we wanted. It was PERFECT. During the reception, the dance floor was packed! Alex did an amazing job of reading our guests, seeing what they enjoyed and keeping the dance floor full! Its been over a month since the wedding, and guests are STILL commenting on how much fun they had and how great the DJ was. So guys...hire Alex with Boogie Down Beats! I really enjoyed working with Alex and Boogie Down Beats. He set up in our parking lot, and even though the weather was a little sticky, everything went smoothly! Some of my students said it was one of the best dances in a long time, and I attribute a lot of that to the great deejay!

We will remember our wedding as a perfect day and Boogie Down Beats made it a perfect night. We met once beforehand to share our musical preferences along with those of our guests and he totally got it. He found our rare first dance song from the 60s, and truly, it was a dance party from the moment we set foot on the dance floor. He flowed through all the right ranges of new and old, from electro to rock to old school hip hop — he knows the classics and spins up late night. It was a blast. He was also super amenable to our request for a 2am close time. I cant say enough how highly I recommend Alex at Boogie Down Beats for your event.

I hired Boogie Down Beats for the USS NOA reunion in Branson, Missouri. During the reunion we experienced very heavy rainfall that cause some travel issues in the area. I was not able to get to the reunion due to the rain, however this did not stop Alex or Tyler with Boogie Down Beats! They communicated with me and let me know that they would be there, when they arrived, sent me photos of everyone on the dance floor and followed up to see if there were any issues. I will use them for other reunions in the Branson area and recommend them to other groups in search of reliable and professional DJs!
