Nice ball field surrounded by woodlands and stream valley. Meant for the casual softball game or something where there are no heavy hitters. If the ball goes out of the field you may never find it again. The woodlands behind the field are a maze of paved walking trails. If you are a jogger there are many opportunities for curvy and/or hilly sections. Apparently there are old civil war breastworks out here somewhere but not so significant as to make it some sort of cultural heritage site. This group of trails hooks into some sort of County system so I bet a good bike trip could start or pass through here. But this review was supposed to be for the field. There is a small fence around it and two old benches. It is usable and nice that it is available.
