Great experience. Had an autographed picture I bought for my wifes birthday and wanted to get it framed. He rushed it for me so it was done in time for the actual day and made great recommendations for what would go well with the photo. More expensive than I anticipated but I have limited custom framing experience. Owner is really friendly and helpful.

We went to The Great Frame Up with an idea my husband and I had for our wedding guest book. We bought the record of our first song and wanted the album cover along with the actual record displayed. In the white space we wanted all of our guests to sign the frame backing. The Great Frame Up took our idea and nailed it. He gave us tips on how many colored markers to use, how to eliminate smearing and how much white space would be necessary. We now have this hanging in our living room and it is hands down the most coveted item from our wedding. We can’t thank The Great Frame Up enough for making our idea into a beautiful memory! We highly recommend for all of your framing needs. The quality is paramount here!

We were looking to frame a soccer jersey to commemorate our head coaches 100th game in charge of our club. We are based in the greater Philadelphia area, and were looking for a place in a convenient location that also provided excellent service and high quality work. I had received a canvas painting in the mail. Large odd shaped picture. I was very excited about it but I needed a custom framing. I called and I was told to come in and they would frame it on the spot. I was able to pic a beautiful frame from what they had in stock. I was told it would be 45 minutes. Like clockwork I was back in 45. The picture was ready and looked awesome! He packaged it up very nicely and on my way. They were so nice. I would use them again in a second!

Ahn (owner/operator) is an incredibly humble, kind, and talented man. I came to him wanting to frame a photo as an anniversary gift for my wife. I was short on time and had zero experience in the process of framing a picture. Ahn provided extremely helpful suggestions from how to improve quality and finding just the right size of the photo I would use to selecting the perfect combination of border and frame. He even placed the picture in a temporary frame so I could present the gift to my wife on our actual anniversary (the frame I wanted was back-ordered and since I only came to Ahn two days before my anniversary it wouldnt arrive in time). Once the final frame came in Ahn made the change and the final product is incredible. Id encourage anyone who wants to preserve a photo or memory in a beautiful frame to visit Ahn. I know the next time I have a need for framing or want to give someone a special and personal gift Ill be heading back to Ahn without question. Thanks again friend! I moved from the DELCO area about 32 years ago. I recently inherited a very sentimental original poster size artwork, that was in a simple frame. I knew I wanted a privately owned frame shop who would have experience and give personal care to prepare the artwork for the long journey west. I looked online and found “The Great Frame Up”. It had many positive reviews. My daughter, who still lives in the area, brought the artwork to Anh. He choose the perfect matte border and used plexiglass for the covering. Ive brought a couple pieces here for framing over the past year or so and have always been really pleased and impressed at how well they turn out. The owner is so helpful, he will start off showing you the most high-quality options but is more than happy to work within your budget and even when I selected the more conservatively priced materials, he made my print look amazing. I needed a gift for my wife, all I had was a few pictures and our wedding vows on some note cards. He helped me pick a beautiful frame and he fit it all together in a really wonderful way! My wife loves it and so do I!

Im sure he does great work but if you dont know what exactly what you want and you let the expert help you hell try and squeeze every penny out of you. I took a piece of art to him having never dealt with a framer before and I really didnt know anything about it. he tried to get me to get the most expensive things to add to the job and totally jacked the price up. I knew better than to pay what he tried charging me the frame job was going to cost more than the art! I took it to another place and paid pennies compared to what he was attempting to charge me and it turned out great.

Needed a piece of art framed in a rush and had never dealt with getting any art framed. The staff had an obvious love of art and showed me all of my options. The matting and the frame he suggested made the painting come to life and really looked great. Staff was friendly, extremely knowledgeable and knows how to really make art look incredible. The price was even lower than some of the big box stores that offered the same services (although I doubt they have the same passion and expertise). Coming from a family of artists, I already know where the next picture is going to get framed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I had a great experience with this frame shop. I needed something close to Swarthmore so I could have my friend pick it up easily. I live on the west coast and I dealt with Ahn from start to the finish- he was awesome. He took my calls after work, he asked the right questions about what I wanted done, and he went out of his way to text me pictures of the finished product. Im really satisfied with the work and would definitely recommend to others!

Ahn does some amazing work. I recently had a 400+ year old vest framed and the quality is excellent. It looks like it belongs in a museum, you can tell a lot of attention to detail went into the frame. The UV museum glass will protect and preserve this family heirloom for years to come. It was well worth the investment.

I tried to shop local. I dropped off a piece that just needed the glass replaced. It was a Sunday, and I was told it should be ready in the coming week. I didnt hear anything, so after about two weeks I stopped by. The piece still wasnt done. I did find after taking it to Michaels with a 2-day turnaround that the price was only slightly higher here.

I work all around this country, and have been in philadelphia for a month so far. coming to questionable end any time. i came to him with some neat picture i got and was looking to frame it and send it home on a tight schedule. the gentleman was understanding and worked with me to get it done timely manner for me. great help in picking out what i liked, great opinions. price was a little bit high? but for not having professional frame work before it could be stellar, however fine art is like a tattoo. good work is not cheep and and cheep work is not good. over all very satisfied with everything i would go back again if i lived here and had more work for sure.

I had the owner frame my college diploma, and it had been rolling around in my trunk for a while. Needless to say, it was not in the best condition. The owner, knowing this, was very nice and professional. He was very willing to work with me and had great samples. When I got the finished product, I was blown away. He did an amazing job and I know that this will last me a lifetime. I highly recommend this place if you want to go the extra mile and get high quality frame work.

Well if youre not into really good picture frames this would not be the place for you but if youre not the person that goes to Kmart or Walmart and buys that junk you put on the wall this is a excellent place they do put the picture in the frame for you they also have pictures pre-made for you and they are able to match any Decor whatsoever really nice people here I would recommend this place PS they are service dog friendly

I used Anh to frame a large degree of mine recently. My first time in a framing shop, I found Anh to be extremely helpful (and personable!). He was very knowledgeable and also had an artistic eye (which I lack). He suggested several different frames and matting which he felt would complement and draw attention to my degree. He sat down with me for close to 30 minutes going through different frames/matting and explaining his thought processes. I had my doubts about how the final product would end up, but he was right and it looks incredible! I would recommend his work to anybody.
