When my son was little, I had a membership to the local aquarium. It was the greatest outing for him because he could sit and stare at the fish and turtles all day. Over the years, that love for sea creatures hasn’t changed one bit. The only exception is that now my son likes to make sure to point out every octopus he sees (I am so not a fan of octopus). All that to be said, this aquarium was awesome. There’s plenty to see and experience there! And when USA Today votes it as Americas Best Aquarium, you know youre in for a treat. My favorite was seeing Johnny Morris boat suspended in what looked like a painting - it was gorgeous! With tank after tank of unique fish and wildlife, this is no ordinary aquarium!
Words can not express how amazing this place is. I highly recommend it. There are lots of restrooms through out the exhibits, they have places to eat and get a snack. I will however say the snacks are a but pricey but after walking 2 hours to only be 1/3 of the way finished you will pay what they ask for a drink. The museum part was wonderful, the different animals that were displayed and the way that the animals natural habitat was reenacted was totally AMAZING. The aquarium part.... WOW to say the least my absolute favorite was the penguins and the owls. This place definitely is worth the money and if you have trouble walking for any length of time they have wheel chairs and scooters you can rent. This place took a total of 4 hours from start to finish. The only concern or downfall I seen was the lay out was a bit confusing, going from floor one to two and then back to one just to come out at a different exhibit. Overall very very beautiful place and a magical memory.
Given the admission price, I was a little skeptical as to whether the experience would be worth the cost. However, it is a pretty incredible place and you can easily spend several hours here. What we really appreciated is that they are actually trying to keep people safe. This was a nice change from Branson, where many people were making no attempt to wear masks or distance. The staff are very friendly, which cant always be easy given some of the behavior from guests. Overall we highly recommend this place.
I polled the whole family and they all agree this place earned 5 stars, without hesitation. I knew it would be great based on reviews but WOWWWWW! We were there for three hours and could have stayed much longer. The 5 & 10 year old loved it just as much as we did. The theming throughout truly made it an immersive experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. I very much enjoyed myself and am glad we splurged on the tickets. The coloring craft at the end was really neat because they display it on the big screen!
Hands down the best aquarium I have ever been to! There is so much to do and so much to see here. We have been to aquariums in Dallas and Tulsa and a few other places and this one beats all of those easily! if you take your time it takes about 4 hours to get through the whole thing! They have a restaurant in the aquarium but we did not try it so I cant vouch for their food but it smelled wonderful!
Holy $hit if you’re worried about covid stay home. The aquarium was awesome. The details were extraordinary. It was oddly dark I’ll admit. But nothing to complain about other than it did make some photo ops difficult. However I liked the mix of live fish and not so live fish. Also the mix of fishing education and history. I think that’s why this aquarium stands out. It’s not just an aquarium it’s to promote conservation and history as well. Not just endless fish tanks but throw in some interesting history and education. It makes sense to me, maybe it’s because it’s bass pro and I’m a conservationist sportsman but my kids didn’t complain either. I don’t get all the negative reviews. Honestly the history stuff was better than the live fish for me, the old gear and lures and the hall of fame and pioneers of bass fishing etc. It was all excellent. And we had no trouble “petting” stingrays. Just gotta be patient. Thank you Bass Pro Shops, the whole BPS HQ “Mecca” is everything one would hope for. Can’t wait to come back.
This place. Whoa. This place is amazing. The variety they have, here, is fantastic. From start to finish, the experience was absolutely phenomenal. Ive been to multiple aquariums, throughout the U. S. and this one is top on the list. Very, very impressive. I will definitely be returning.
So worth the money!!!!! What a great place to take the kids and family!!! It is a full day adventure so make sure you have the entire day free cause it will take the whole day!!! There is so much to see and do and learn!!!! What an experience!!!! We for sure will be back here cause we know in the 3 hours we took to go through (we had to be somehwhere) we didnt get to see it all!! We want to come and see it all again!!!!
This is a two-part facility one is in the aquarium and then the other part is the history of Wildlife and there is so much information to be had here you could almost have a doctorate and biology it was a great place to bring the kids again lots of information to take in be prepared to spend a couple of hours because there is a lot they spent a lot of time on it very detailed work I would say its worth every penny
If youve not been to WOW (Wonders Of Wildlife) be prepared to walk and stare, walk some more, take plenty of pictures, and stare some more. Its sensory overload at its fullest. All in a fantastic way. Its great for any age kid from 4 to 104. Theres no rush to get through this extraordinary exhibit. TAKE YOUR TIME! If you do have little ones then this is a multi-trip event. Kids, and adults, can get tired. Probably the best time to arrive is not long after WOW opens. Not as crowded and kids will have a better experience along with their parent(s).Theres so much to absorb here. Each exhibit is off the hook and so well done it makes you greatful to the many folks that built this. It speaks volumes to the hundreds of folks that are so gifted to put this exhibit together.Bass Pro has outdone themselves with WOW! Its a must see and to be a part of something so fantastic, youll look forward to your next trip. Plan for 2.5 - 3 hours at least. There are many areas for taking a rest. Remember, bring your camera or c-phone and make sure theyre charged up.This is my second trip with my family to WOW in a year. I saw something different the second time. Im sure when I/we go back Ill make new discoveries.Thank you Bass Pro for a fun filled experience with WOW! I/we anxiously look forward to returning and so will you!
I really enjoy coming here. No complaints. The staff is helpful and friendly. My husband enjoyed the shark encounter. I love the relaxing music played in the aquarium. My only thing is I wish the music was available for purchase so I can play it to help me sleep..
This was an amazing experience. Beautiful scenery and exhibits. I cant wait to come back.
Love it! Cant wait to come back with my kids! I had the opportunity to speak to the otter keeper about her charges and I greatly appreciated her taking the time to speak with me. The keepers here are SO friendly, theyre really passionate about their jobs and the animals they take care of.
Amazing aquarium, I strongly recommend this thing here if you are ever in town as this is one of the best aquariums Ive been to and Ive been to a lot
Amazing underwater world! I could sit for hours. Some of these fish are bigger than me. The Hall of Fame has such an extensive amount of history. Wonderful visit even during social distancing
A great place! It is a bit different as it is a mash-up of a museum and aquarium, but its intriguing and very well done. A linear walk through with good flow. The decor of each of the rooms are just as interesting as the displays themselves. The fish tanks are beautiful and well taken care of. With the thoughts of conservation in mind it is very educational in its presentation. As its attached to Bass Pro there is a lot for the hunting and fishing enthusiast to see as well. A bit pricey but I say its worth the cost!
Worth every penny. Plan on the whole day. Great for all ages. Possibly the best wildlife museum ever. If you are thinking of going, dont think, just go. IT IS WORTH IT. I can not express enough how good it is. Lot of walking, but plenty of benches with videos to watch.
This place is amazing!!! Although I prefer the aquarium over the wonders side. Both are a must visit. I got a season pass and went 46 times the first year and still enjoy going.
It was very cool and we were looking at animals and museum exhibits for hours it was massive and my daughter loved it.
This is an incredible experience all the way around. The museum and aquarium are both top-notch. I booked a shark dive to surprise my wife and celebrate 15 years together. The experience was unbelievable for the price. The staff was great, the dive was awesome, and my wife loved it. Cannot recommend it enough. We will be back, with friends.
We are members and we did the Out to Sea Shark Dive in March and the Feeding Frenzy in September and we absolutely loved both. The Feeding Frenzy was definitely worth the extra fee. The fish and sharks were significantly more active during it. However, they are both wonderful experiences that I recommend. The aquarium in general is my favorite aquarium. I voted it the best aquarium and I truly meant it. I absolutley love aquariums and this is my top choice. There is so much to look at and to do.
One of the coolest, most fascinating places we have ever been. So many things to see and learn about. We had a wonderful time and took great photos to remember our trip. I recommend it for all ages.
Absolutely fantastic place. The best aquarium Ive been to and the staff were super nice. The ladies in the gift shop were super helpful with me asking about prices and helped me with my purchases. Ill be back and be sending more people your way! Thank you so much.
Great museum and aquarium. There is a 3 story tank, many different types of animals (including gators, bears, penguins, and so many aquatic animals). So much to see and do, and the snack stand also sells local brews for the adults. This is a great place for family fun, and we live that the focus is on education and conservation.
Amazing! This place looked great and had awesome exhibits that were interesting to both children and adults. There are a lot of historical items as well of interesting fish, sharks, and others marine life. The flow is great too and there is no way to get lost as the whole exhibit flows from on section to the next easily but without feeling like you are rushed.I know the price can seem steep up front but it was worth every penny, especially if you have younger children. We will definitely be back!
Totally awesome; a little pricy, but well worth the money. You can pet live eels & go down in a cage with sharks swimming around you. Better off getting the one year membership if you live close. Great place to take the kids, theyll be amazed.
They have a wide variety animals and its so cool! I loved seeing the sharks, saltwater fish, freshwater fish, and the stingrays! The cool thing is that it not only an aquarium. They have bears, lizards, snakes, birds, and more! If you love getting to see these amazing animals you will really enjoy your time. I think all ages can have fun here.
Just visited with my wife and she absolutely loved it. It was pretty expensive but well worth it! Also, Bass Pro at Christmas time is amazing.
Amazing for a small town Aquarium! This is the quality I would expect in a major ocean town like Miami. Be prepared to spend some cash, trip for three plus lunch was $130...
Love this place the taxidermy is amazingly done. The aquarium is beautiful. The only complaint i have is the touch ray tank with popcorn... that smell is so confusing lol.
Great place to take the family! We all loved it and had a wonderful time! Thanks for the great time and fair prices!
Everything you could want in an aquarium. The live exhibits are solid! The whole place is very clean with a friendly staff. My family did the Diving with Sharks which was a very good value. Again the staff was just super. If you are in Springfield make a day to visit. The aquarium is big with a winding course so wear good shoes. My granddaughters just loved it! 5 monkeys. Bonus the original Bass Pro is connected with lots to do.
I waited years to go to this place and I finally got the opportunity to go. It was WAAAAAY better than I anticipated!! In fact, there was so much to see that I didnt get a chance to see it all. This place is amazing and well worth the price.
Confusing layout, and the food is overpriced, but other than that, it’s amazing! Lots of wildlife, and the museum is great too! 10/10 would come again
We were on the fence about doing this, so glad we did it! It took about 2 hours to get through the aquarium and 1 hour to get through the museum. So much to see! So many cool exhibits! Our kids are 15, 7 and 5 and they all loved it! My kids really enjoyed touching the stingrays at the end. Great experience!
It was so amazing. If you have not gone yet I would suggest that you go. They have fish, snakes, monkeys, bears, sharks, flamingos, oh my it was so fun. I loved it
Very nice & be prepared to spend a lot of time there. We loved everything! There needs to be more things for the youngs people in our group to do though. Something to get them more involved more creative :)This is an excellent opportunity really get them involved with all the wonders they offer ages 3 to 17.
Loved this place! You can walk through at your own pace. Animals on display look so alive, even though theyre stuffed. Aquarium was just as awesome!
This place was pretty awesome. We are planning on taking out daughter the next time we go. Definitely worth the money. The staff did everything they could to make sure everyone was wearing masks and social distancing.
I have went hear multiple times on school field trips and with family. I enjoy this place every time I come here. The animal habitats are my favorite you guys make them look like they actually are in there natural habitat whether there in a forest, mountains, pounds or an ocean. To me it looks really cool!
Worth the money!!! Spent all day with our family (five kids ranging from 4yo to 20yo). All kids enjoyed.
This is my second time here but first time at the revamped Wonders of Wildlife with my wife and kids. It is huge...be prepared to spend a bit of time. Well worth the stay.
Truly incredible! Just amazing everytime. Have season passes and love it every trip!
When I first heard about Wonders of Wildlife I was ecstatic about visiting with my family despite the seemingly high priced tickets. For just a little bit more money I saw that I could buy annual passes which would pay for themselves the second time we visited. The amount of time and energy that goes in to making sure this aquarium and museum are kept in pristine condition is unremarkable. For just $75/pp for an annual pass, we are able to enjoy unlimited visits in a family friendly place that is 350,000 square feet. Theres something for the animal lover. Theres something for the fisherman. Theres something for the hunter. Theres something for the history buff and theres something for the race car fan. If you are thinking about visiting but are hesitant because of the cost, I highly recommend this place. We didnt regret it and I dont think you will either.
The exhibits for both aquarium and museum were interesting for all ages and interests (biological, historical, cultural, etc). The price is appropriate for both displays but we had to walk through the bass pro to go between both displays. There are lots of restrooms throughout the exhibits and the aquarium has a bar with drinks and snacks. Fish tales is a good break after the aquarium for lunch. They allow drinks in both exhibits as well. Parking was decent because we went early.
What an absolutely amazing place. I wish we had more time to spend there, but we were in a rush and only had one hour. If you have an appreciation of art and wildlife, this place is definitely for you. It was not what I expected AT ALL. It exceeded every expectation I had. We are going to make another weekend trip out of it just to spend more time there!
Amazing aquarium! Got to be top 5 in the world, hands down the best Ive seen. From the moment you walk in to the final tank everything is very well taken care of.
We absolutely loved this place. So much history available here and the mixture of live animals. The investment into this place is important to conservation and history. The only issue we had is needing some signs on how to get out of the museum to return to our vehicle. Fortunately there was some very nice employee that already knew what we were looking for and showed us the way. All of the employees that we came across was very friendly. Strongly recommend seeing at least once.
Well worth it! I thought it was just going to be a quick simple overly priced aquarium...well I was wrong. I had a great time with my grandmother. The only issue I really had was they dont have the best labeling of the animals especially the taxidermy/molded fish. They had themed sections from a shipwreck to a Bayou themed area. They have seashells galore and the most beautiful jellyfish. They have elevators for handicap and strollers and they kindest staff members.
I love this place! Need more signs with instructions on where to go... the concession stand next to the catch and release clip are ridiculous... they force you to purchase medium cups so you can get a straw... if you buy a small cup you only get a spoon... seriously come on owner of bass pro shop who just purchased the old dog patch... you can’t supply a straw do my young children can enjoy the slushy through a straw? I would have brought straws if I knew this...also the lady at concession stand interrupted our conversion with the janitor! The janitor was a really nice Mexican lady but she didn’t speak english! I would have rather talk to her and figure out what she was saying! The concession girl came over and said uhhh she doesn’t speak any English so you’ll have to talk to me... she doesn’t know... ok well teach her she is a good employee and I wouldn’t want to be treated like that!
This aquarium is outstanding!! So much thought and effort went into creating the outdoors indoors. Very realistic and beautifully done. I recommend this for adults as well! Thoroughly enjoyed my visit! 5 stars!
Its a fascinating place to visit with all the variety of subjects and its also very educational as you discover interesting facts about each animal. Highly recommend this attraction to visitors of all ages whether youre from here locally or visiting from another city, town, state, or country.
I have been to several aquariums around the country so am able to compare this one to others. I only visited the aquarium, not the natural history museum. Aquarium was very nice and designed well. This is an excellent aquarium for a city the size of Springfield but is up to par with some of the better museums in the US (e.g. Monterrey, Atlanta, Chattanooga). So you have to keep things in perspective. Good if you are in the area, but not worth a special trip. The aquarium focused more on fresh water fish than other aquariums, probably because it is affiliated with Bass Pro Shop. There was also a few sections dedicated to fishing which was of no interest to me but again due to their connection with Bass Pro. Overall it was a decent aquarium but the price is way too high. Their admission price is similar to the Monterrey aquarium but the quality is very different. I paid around $45 per person and think it was worth about $20-25 per person. Honestly, it should be subsidized by Bass Pro since it is basically an advertisement for them.
Very cool place. Lots to see. Neat stuff for all ages.
This was really fantastic and well worth the money for entrance. Lots of taxidermied animals in a natural looking setting. The aquarium was very cool and includes a Sting Ray petting pool. Between the artifacts and the aquarium everyone (from 5 - 73 year old) had a great time. It took us 3 1/2 hours to cover all of it. The only downside is that it was not super convenient to get to.
We really werent expecting for this to be so big, but boy were we wrong. Would highly recommend coming here if your in the area. The amount of time in detail throughout the entire museum was amazing. Fun and knowledgeable for all ages.
This place was super nice inside and took us a good 2+ hrs to go through. The decor/habitats were nice and had other animals besides a regular aquarium would. We really enjoyed it, only down fall was it was a little pricey.
Definitely the best aquarium Ive been through, took us roughly an hour and a half to make it to the end. It did seem a bit short for $50 a person but if you reserve ahead of time you have a chance of getting a good discount. Lots of activities for kids throughout as well as side rooms filled with things ranging from fishing trophies to George W Bushs shirt. Theres a bunch to take in here so youll want to not rush at all, each section is divided into different types of ecosystems; there is a jungle theme, ocean theme, cave theme, and ocean/fresh water theme. Each one lasts for roughly 15-20 min. At the end theres a place to pet the rays and do some coloring, followed by a souvenir shop mainly geared toward toys and stuffed animals. Overall not a bad time but a little too pricey to go back.
Totally worth the price. No extra fee to pet the sting rays. Lots to see. Easily 3-4 hr visit. If you are against hunting this may not be the place for you. They do however teach the history of hunting and how it plays a role in the eco system.
This place was phenomenal. My boyfriend and I went because we love bass Pro shops. The attraction is beautiful and clean with very good customer service. I would recommend anyone at any age check this place out! Just be sure to set a few hours aside because YES ITS THAT BIG!
Really interesting place. Definitely worth the visit. Thankfully had someone from the area with us or I never would have known my entry ticket got us into another museum like exhibit through the sporting goods store next door.
Was a fantastic adventure to go on. Was really dark inside and know why but is hard for a senior to make their way so take a younger friend with you.
First time visitor but we went with someone familiar with the location. We spent four hours going through the museum and aquarium. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The exhibits were fantastic and entertaining. The aquarium was amazing with the breadth of displays. Highly recommend if you have the chance.
I love the aquarium and museam. Its beautiful, you learn a lot, and its good excersing.
It is a beautiful place if you love nature. Alot of family fun.
I could spend days here! We spent about 3 hours going through the museum and aquarium and we could have easily spent double the time. World class collection and beautiful displays. It was honestly better than going to a zoo.
We love going here and our 2 year old loves seeing all the fish! Its definitely worth the trip for us because we could spend hours in there looking at everything. The only thing I dont like is that you dont get any additional perks for buying the yearly pass, like you do with most other places. But we still bought it since we will go more than twice and it will be worth it.
Soooooo worth the money!!! My 2 year old kept saying Where fish tank go? During our whole trip to Colorado. He didnt care half as much about the mountains as he did this place lol.It was a little confusing when we first went in due to COVID. Where do go, what to do, etc, but after we got going, it was an unbelievable maze of wonder and beauty. We will make a special 6 hour trip to go here again, just to go here and Bass Pro is a whole trip.Makes all other aquariums seem insignificant. We didnt to the museum part because we were exhausted. That will be o. The next trip!
Great place to take the family. Huge aquarium with sea life, river life, birds and reptiles. Unique museums within the place as well. Seemed pricey at the start, but well worth it by the end!
Overall, a nice place to spend a couple of hours in Springfield. An expansive live aquarium occupies one wing of the building and a number of stuffed wildlife exhibits can be found in the other.Im deducting one star because admission pricing is fairly absurd. As of 08/2019, the annual pass is $50/person, which seems reasonable if you plan on visiting a few times per year, but the single day ticket is outrageously priced at $47/person. Theres really no reason to gouge visitors who are only in town for a single day. You can still earn a nice profit charging $25-30/person/day, and Id bet youd increase the number of day passes sold.
Love this aquarium, One of the best ever, but the amount of people not wearing masks in a mask mandated area with employees in every room to correct them, was insane. We had to rush through rooms as large groups of idiots not wearing masks would go from room to room. I don’t understand how Every other company can keep people in masks but this place couldn’t
Take it slow. Read the signs. Enjoy the history of how we destroy and then work to bring back the animals and protect nature.
So amazingly amazing, well worth the cost. You will see all types of fish, Wild life, Birds,Reptiles, displaay. You will love this place for Adults and kids alike .
Unbelievably beautiful exhibits!!! We spent over 4 hrs looking and reading. Something for all ages. Plenty of nice clean restrooms throughout the exhibits. Wont be disappointed!!
The exhibits are fantastic and theres a huge diversity of things to see and its very well setup plus its nice theres bathrooms located through pretty much every exhibit. But the concession stands and the small resturaunt are absolutely useless. Theres almost nothing on the menu, the prices are absolutely ridiculous and the customer service at them is the worst Ive ever seen..I would eat and make sure your well hydrated before you enter and just pass through the museum with the expectations of just that seeing a museum.
We have been to about a dozen different aquariums around the country, and I would say this one is easily in the bottom 3. First of all, rather expensive, and there are as many plastic animals on the walls as there are in the tanks. I would say this place is just a bunch of large fish tanks, with mostly common fish in them. I think this place is more interested in trying to educate you on fishing history than it is about the wildlife.Second, extremely dark everywhere in here. I understand that certain areas and certain wildlife need it to be dark, but every square inch of the place?Third, the stingray “touching” area. This was a joke. They have the water so deep that you don’t have a chance to touch a ray. We have been at quite a few of these around the country, sometimes spending about an hour at the exhibit, not this one though. Very bad set up.I think this was not thought out very well. Don’t call it an aquarium if all your trying to do is be an education facility. I am not a fisherman, but do enjoy seeing different aquariums and different species of fish. This place was a big disappointment.
Most amazing aquarium I have seen in a long time. Petting stingrays and the walk through tanks. All amazing
SO MUCH FUN!!! And you learn so much about conservation, hunting/fishing, and they have thousands of taxidermy animals. You can really tell that they put A LOT of thought and effort into each area. My 2 year old had a lot of fun running around too. I unfortunately, have no photos. I was enjoying the moment! It is a very long place. With a lot to see. So plan accordingly! Wear your most comfortable shoes too
This place is nuts! Definitely worth checking out. Very well done. Highly Recommended!
Fantastic place! Everything about the aquarium is neat from the exhibits to the scenery to the lighting. Be prepared to get your steps in!
We sent hours in here. So much to look at. So much to read. So much to learn!
This place was very cool. Coming recently from the Las Vegas strip, there is no attraction there that was comparable to the intensity of this attraction. The acronym WoW really lives up to itself. Felt quite disoriented upon leaving, like I should have grown gills and swam out of there, but would definitely go again. We were there for almost three hours and didn’t see everything.
What a wonderful place! Not as many people wearing masks who were visiting (at all) as should be to be safe, but the staff was amazing and the visit was so fun! We took precautions indeed to protect ourselves and everyone else.
Excellent exhibits. Spend some time to look through all of the history. So much to offer. Family friendly. Covid19 practices in place.
My husband and I bought season passes before the pandemic started. We used to enjoy this place however their lack of mask enforcement has shown that they only care about money and not truly about the safety of everyone. My 84 yr old grandmother was visiting and Im pregnant so safety is at top priority. Before coming here I called to make sure they were enforcing mask wearing for EVERYONE. I was told yes so we drove all the way there. When we arrived I saw them selling tickets to unmasked people. We made the decision to leave. The mask ordinance was NOT being enforced. If Goodwill and Menards can enforce masking and literally tell people to leave if they refuse... surely this place can. I am disgusted by their lack of care and safety.
Great activity with the kids. Eat before you go and wear comfortable shoes, its every bit of two and a half hours to three and a half hours! Very IKEA-esque, one way in, one way out. Three well appointed restrooms along the route though.
Oh my gosh! This would be a great rainy day event. My best friend and I were there 4 1/2 hours without stopping. Very informative and realistic!
Would love to be able to go inside. But $47 for an adult ticket is a little pricey for my blood. That is just for the aquarium.. Im sure its beautiful and maybe worth it for those who can afford it..
This place is amazing and beautiful. It should definitely be on your itinerary if youre visiting the area. Lots to see and do.
Best Ive ever walked through and the largest. Great interaction with the sting rays. Employees were friendly and helpful. The exhibits were life like and captured in motion
Amazing time with the family!!!Great quality exhibitions - we went on a Wednesday afternoon and it wasn’t packed.Because of COVID- we found everything to be very clean.Plenty of bathrooms all around, benches for breaks and even snack stations. We loved it!!!
Awesome! Best aquarium I have been to yet. Great for all ages. Setup with a great flow and the exhibits are fantastic.
Really great trip for the family takes quite a while to walk through. Plan a bit of time, and wear comfy shoes. I took a lot of pictures tons of interesting things to look at. Its almost like a zoo because they have more than just fish Well priced.
Fantastic aquarium, it took my family and I 2.5 hours to walk through the whole thing. Plenty of live aquariums housing all different kinds of fish snd sharks. Models of tons of fish, whales and sharks. There is a bar about half way through with canned cocktails, beer, slushys, popcorn and other snacks.
Best aquarium/natural history museum next to the natural history museum in NY City. Allow at least 1/2 day. Fun for kids and adults both. Very large venue.
This place is incredible. It is by far, the best aquarium I have ever been to. It is so much better than any zoos aquarium I have visited. There is so much attention to detail. My whole family enjoyed it so much. It was a pleasure to spend a few hours taking it all in.
We had a great time we loved getting to see all tut he fish and wow we loved the sharks! Getting to thought the Rays was so exciting we will be coming back again next year
So many fish, birds and animals to see. Very well laid out and informative! Well worth the price of admission.
Held my interest very well! There is something new around every corner. It exceeded my expectations and I was amazed at how many people were there to take care if the animals. You had better get there early because after about 11 It gets VERY packed. Even the lobby exceeded my expectations. They open at 9. It is very much so worth the money ($120 for three people). Very friendly staff. There is popcorn about 1/4 of the way through. There are a few restrooms, but not very many. As I stated before, very, very worth the money.
The Aquarium side was AMAZING! We actually spent the entire day at the Aquarium. I have never experienced anything like it!! There a interactive areas where you can touch anemones, mollusks & starfish. You also get to pet stingrays at the end. I highly recommend this place!
