Just wanted to share what a wonderful experience my family had with Madison Gardens. We were unable to pick out our Christmas tree on our own so Gloria took our order over the phone and picked a beautiful Christmas tree for us! She even texted me a picture of it and gave me tips on caring for it :). We were able to pull in, call Gloria, and the tree was securely placed in the bed of our truck. Great curbside service and overall experience! Can’t wait to come back and explore the place and look at all the trinkets. Thank you Gloria and the staff at Madison Gardens!

This was such a lovely store, I went here to get some bug blaster for my lawn and I’m not kidding they have pretty much all you can think of to maintain and make your garden and lawn beautiful. The service was also extremely genuine and the ladies would have engaging conversations with you. Then there’s the pets, if you don’t go for anything else go for the pets. You won’t catch me at Home Depot buying gardening or lawn materials. Support your local businesses!!

Very well pleased with their service! I had called for sod two days and they were out. As soon as they were in stock they called us right away. The sod looks very healthy and we are pleased with our purchase. I recommend this place if you are looking for sod!

I purchased oleander tree for 40 dollars plus some river rocks for 18 cents a pound on -May 30th (It was 12.07 for the rock) and dealt with the owner and I felt so good about this place, I came back on June 3rd to purchase additional rock at the SAME price...this time somehow I got the same amount of rock but it was 33.00 dollars!! (The scale is out side the reader inside the purchaser can NOT see the actual weight as it’s being weighed) ... needless to say I feel extremely cheated and will not go again.

Christmas 2018 and again this Christmas I purchased the most fabulous trees from this nursery. The trees are so beautiful and stay fresh all through the holiday season. I highly recommend them!

Id driven by this place so many times and never thought to stop in. I finally did last weekend. OH MY GOSH - what a great little nursery! They have a ton of fantastic talavera, metal decor, and fountains. And their plant selection is plentiful and very reasonably priced! Found some philodendron that I havent seen elsewhere, and they have hoyas that are dirt cheap. The owner(?) and I talked for a bit after completing my check-out, and shes lovely. So nice. Added bonus: they have conures (birds) and the sweetest, chillest dog who might saunter over to say hello if you ask him to. Ill be a repeat customer FOR SURE!

Wonderful selection and fair pricing! I have been here several times before. They are the closest nursery to me and THEY HAVE PESTICIDE-FREE MILKWEED! Pretty much the only place in the Spring/Houston area that doea. WOOHOO! I had dozens of hungry monarch caterpillars and no way to leave the house during lockdown. Stacy very helpful and kind. She got me in touch with Stephanie, who delivered my ordered to my house super fast (same day) left the plants on my doorstep, and was super friendly and courteous. Between growing food and raising monarchs I will remain a loyal customer at Madison Gardens for years to come. Thank you again!!

Don’t go here for Christmas trees. They are crazy expensive! I wanted a flocked tree so badly and they started at almost 300 per tree. Non flocked trees averaging 8 to 10 feet were 279. The tree farm behind this location has the same trees for 100 cheaper per tree. Crazy and uncalled for, and disappointed.

Caution when buying mulch. Weve purchased here before, but never again. We paid for a full truck and were shorted a couple of yards. Our lawn service vendor agreed it was not a full load, they assist us when we get a truck every year.

Super nice people (and fur babies) selling beautiful, quality goods. You owe it to yourself to at least go look.

I came here to film for a school video project and ended up loving this nursery. The place is so cute and the employees were so nice and welcoming, including their dogs I saw lounging around - super friendly. The amount of flower and plant options are incredible and great quality too. Even during the winter, they still have a nice flower/plant selection to choose from. Also a ton of great Christmas trees during this time of year too. I will definitely be coming back!

Every other place I went to for a Christmas tree had dead looking trees and outrageous prices. I found Madison Gardens during a desperate Google search and took the 25 mile drive there. So worth It! The trees were beautiful and reasonably priced. Carol and all the staff were so helpful and so sweet. I will definitely be back, its worth the trip!

Sadly, we failed to get the extremely helpful and kind ladys name that worked in the front office. She was an older Hispanic lady and she was SO helpful! She even gave us her last 2 pieces of grass to make our 9 week old puppys grass pee pad for our patio. We live in the Katy area and have looked all over even all the way in Richmond and Rosenburg but we couldnt find any grass at all so we drove up to Spring to see if we could find any. We are so thankful for the kindness of this lady! Me, my boyfriend, and our puppy appreciate you so much!

I googled Nurserys near me, and found out this is a family owned business, so I decided to check it out. My daughter and I have never planted flowers or vegetables before, and from the moment we got out the car someone was with us every step of the way. They took out time to educate and explain the difference between a few of the plants, how to care for them, which plants would be best for us, etc..And the prices were reasonable. Good selection, helpful, and friendly environment.

Great spot to purchase rock, gravel, plants...all gardening needs. Stopped in about one week ago and was greeted and assisted by Gloria. Gloria and staff are wonderful and helpful in every way and offered great solutions to what type of tree or shrub for a privacy fence. I had heard bamboo was great but Gloria advised me that this could cause issue with plumbing/sewer lines, so went with 5 Cleyeras and will return for 5 more. Beautiful! Cant wait to see them grow! Thank you Gloria and staff! Always a pleasure and you are just down the road. :) And before I forget, MG stands behind their products. If you are not happy or get it home and realize, oops, it wont work, Gloria will work with you.

I love Madison Garden Nursery! It is my go-to place for all my garden needs. We have placed a TON of rocks in our yard and they have been very helpful in helping me decide what is best. Not only that they load it in my SUV for me. They are also great in knowing what type of plants will work best and gave me suggestions for plants that will live where there is virtually 100% shade. Wont go anywhere else!

On 12-4-16 / we bought a fresh 10 Christmas tree. Got home and set the tree up and the water bowl started leaking. I live 45 minutes away, I call Madison gardens and explain. Next day the GM drives to our house to replace the water bowl! Customer service is great!!!

Great pumpkin patch experience yesterday, we were able to get 3 large beautiful pumpkins for only $2/each. The ladies that run Madison Gardens are so helpful, they loaded the pumpkins in my car soon after my son and I made our selections. Madison Gardens is a great local, neighborhood nursery that more people should stop by and support.

I would recommend Madison Nursery to anyone who is looking for plants, yard accessories, stone, rock, etc. They have everything you need for landscaping and then some. These are the best people to work with. It will be worth your time to pay them a visit. Awesome people to deal with.

The staff at Madison Gardens was helpful, friendly and attentive. I was only getting a couple of very small stones for an indoor terrarium and they gave them to me free of charge. The folks at Madison Gardens and J&J Nursery are great. My recent experience with selecting rock and soil exemplified a friendly and knowledgable office staff.Near the end of rock gathering, I discovered rock weight limit. With a smile the field member eagerly helped me reselect rocks.The deliveries were the following day and driver placed the items easy for me to move to the backyard.Prices are reasonable and the soil was a good mix (aromatic). I will be back to complete my landscaping needs.

I went to buy some flowers for my mother. Gloria and her workers were very nice and helped me pick out some very pretty plants and flowers. The service was excellent and they were very friendly. This is where I will always come back for my landscaping/garden needs. Loved it!

No one picks up the phone

Saw the rave reviews and hurried over to buy a christmas tree last week. All was well until the pungeant stench of cat urine wafted from the tree as I was attempting to decorate and hang lights on it... its unbearable. I cant even stand it long enough to finish hanging my lights much less, any ornaments. Ive read that white spruce tend to smell like cat pee. I was under them impression I was paying for a noble fir, which i tend to prefer for their needle retention and beautiful pine scent... not thrilled about the quality of tree, to say the least. Staff seemed nice enough but not wondering if ive been scammed. :/

My husband and I started an aggressive yard make over several weeks ago. Neither of us has much experience in landscaping or flowers and the team at Madison Gardens has been a Godsend. They offered suggestions and guidance without being pushy and all about the sale. Gloria is a pleasure to work with and always made us feel valued as a customer. Her patience with us as we progressed was also appreciated. Their plant selection is healthy but a bit smaller than some of the big chain nurseries however their customer service more than makes up for this. If you are looking for a good experience with a quality product, Madison Gardens is your place.

This is a great place for your garden needs as well as rock for whatever landscaping design you can think of .Plus, they have some the most unique yard art you will find anywhere. We got a full pallet of Flagstone, and full pallet of moss rock and crushed granite. Aside from really good prices and exactly what we wanted, the most valuable asset was their service, and whole lot of expert advice and tips and tricks to help you along. If you have questions, they will have the answer. They had pictures of installed landscaping with just about every type of rock and flower you can think of. We are so happy we found this them. From the office to the guys out in the yard, everyone was right there to answer our questions. I just love supporting local businesses here in Texas and trust me it pays off in a big way, it sure did here! Thanks you guys!

We were shopping at J&J Nursery for a chimenea for a Christmas present They had a good selection, but when we were about to check out the owner realized the cap was out of stock so she suggested we go to Madison Gardens just a couple of miles away. She even called ahead to let Gloria know we were coming. We found a chimenea we liked although it wasnt the Texas theme we were really wanting. After we checked it out and loaded it into the car, I mentioned to Gloria that I was interested in Texas theme pictures and she took me around back to show me some. As we walked back around I spotted a perfect TEXAS theme chimenea! We had already paid for the other one & loaded it, but she very sweetly let us have the Texas one for the same price as the other one we had already paid for! A savings of $20. And even though the guys had already loaded the other one, they very graciously unloaded that one & put the new onewhich was a little bigger in the back of our car! Everyone was very friendly and I highly recommend them both...J&J and Madison !

I simply love this place. The ladies who work there are very knowledgeable about the products they have. Being from New Orleans, LA... I love the fluer de lis decor and the over-sized crawfish is priceless. I live on 2.5+ acres of land and their decor is just the right size.
