7 hills since the new owners has come a long way I enjoy this course . getting better every year .
The course was well taken care of, the greens were lush. This is one of the nicest courses we have played down here in the moderate price range. The staff was friendly and greeted us with a warm welcome when we entered to get a tee time. I will play this course again!
Edit: after the course reopening on January 3rd, I played once again at seven hills. The greens were picture esque, and many improvements had been made. If we continue to support the course, more improvements will come.I tried so hard to give this place many chances. Me and my stepfather have been coming here for three months and it has drastically gotten worse and worse. They cut the restaurant portion and fired Lori, which was the last awesome thing about the place. The course layout is fantastic but there is almost no grass left and the greens have sand and fungus all over them to the point where you cant play on them. Considering that Meadow Oaks is cheaper and nicer, youd be crazy to go here. I really hope that owner sinks more money into this because the potential is there.
Needs some tender loving care.nice course needs some work
The course has a very nice lay out........staff very friendly and helpful.....was a little confused to start.......when playing the first hole, my GPS told me it was the 10th hole......apparently at some point the back 9 became the front 9 and visa versa. Score card and hole markers were correct.....just my GPS was off.......Unfortunately, course condition was poor. Tee boxes needed work, fairways were burnt and dry and the greens were terrible. In fact, on some holes there was no grass on the green at all. Between the clover, weeds and sand on the greens, it was almost impossible to accurately putt. On one of the holes, they had set up a temporary green in front of the regular green, however that wasnt mentioned anywhere....I realize that the new owners are working on it.....but it needs some work.......
Under new ownership. They are trying, but the fairways are questionable at best...greens are okay. Hope they do well cause its a fun track to play. Decent clubhouse. If you want to support your local course...go play it. Green fees are affordable.
Staff was super friendly and courteous. Price was great for 18 holes. Course wasnt in the best of shape at the time but I would play again.
One positive, nice golf carts. Besides that the course was in horrendous condition. Fairways terrible, tee boxes just as bad and the greens were even worse. I just can’t believe how bad this golf course has become. Today will be my last day of ever playing there. If I could gibberish a zero rating I would n
Green is not green rather dry brown grass. Only hotdogs for lunch. Could use new management
Good price includes cart, course needs Rain. Greens are are in rough shape, in general course needs lots of TLC. However they hole layout is nice.
This club has a long history. It is under new ownership. The course is tired. The markers at each hole need to be replaced. Much of the paved path needs to be either repaired or replaced. On the plus side they have new carts that even have ports to charge your phone. The price for a round right now is very reasonable. The course has some challenging holes but many of the greens are in sad shape.
Absolutely disgrace to golf course. They havent water the greens it what looks like years, the all have burnt out spots and most have ant hills on them. Tee boxes are mostly sand and fairways dont exist, we literally found it better to hit out of the rough. Not even worth the 15$
This course is under new owners (3weeks) now and i can start to see improvements already. They plan to fix this course up to better conditions than before. Have to give them time to do it. Been playing here over 10 yrs. Got to give them time.Dennis Johnson
Course has a nice layout so it could be a really nice course.Played today Sept 30. First time back with new owners and they are doing ar great job getting the course in shape. Pro shop is open and the new staff is very nice. Greens were in good shape so were the bunkers it will take awhile for the fairways since the previous owners neglected them so much. Good luck to the new owners so far so good.
Not many people playing considering it was a nice Saturday afternoon. Course in ok shape. Well worth the price.
This is a pretty nice course for the price that you pay to play. It was a good course, the holes are developed pretty tightly, put not overwhelming so. I will definitely be back to play again. The service was great.
They are working hard on the course and I see it. Love playing there. Staff always happy and always giving me pointers if I ask
The greens, proshop and snack bar are the three best things about this course. The fairways and tee boxes are terrible. We had a 1243 tee time, we got there at 12 still didnt get out until 5 after 1. Then on the sixth hole the marshal comes by and tells us to pick up the pace. The whole time we were right on the group in front of us. By the back nine there were 3 groups on every hole. It took us 5 and a half hours to play 18. I left my house at a quarter to twelve and got back to it at 6 15. Its not worth the wait. I dont appreciate the marshal messing with our group when we were clearly keeping pace. We will not be back anytime soon.
Weve been coming to Seven Springs for about ten years during visits with family in the NPR. Weve always found the staff to be professional, welcoming and attentive.During our visit this year we played the Executive Course (one of two) which is a combination of short par four holes and medium length par threes. We found the course to be very payable and perfect for higher handicappers who want to get out for a round or two, The Championship Course features more traditional par fours and par fives. We rented clubs at the pro shop, hit a bucket at the driving range, and lagged some puts on the practice green. We found the greens to be in great shape, albeit a little slow; traps are not an issue, and water can come into play if you stray left or right. Short and straight hitters will score well.Oh yeah, they do allow foot golf which is kicking a soccer style ball into an expanded hole, and this is happening while golfers are playing. This is annoying and dangerous, and more and more golf courses allow this; i cant understand why. During our stay only one group of four were seen playing, so it wasnt an issue for us.
We just had the All You Can Eat Fish dinner. It was excellent! Choice of fried of blackened. We opted for the fried. It was so flaky and crispy. Cooked perfectly.
FABULOUS Prime Rib Dinner. Dessert included. Good service and full bar. Check it out. You wont be sorry.
Good place Im Going back be Blessed
No grass in fairways or tees 12 of 18 greens bad..
Golf links that is under new ownership. Theyre doing an outstanding job of improving the place. Very welcoming. Nate the manager and on site Pro is great and does a very creditable golf instructor.
Great place to go off very challenging
Course is in bad shape, needs lots of work.
Went for Friday fish fry. They Ran out of clam chowder, Cole slaw and fries were not good. Service was very dissappointing, Other tables were got their first and second orders of fish ( which wasnt bad) while we were still waiting for our initial order. Ordered second beer but never got it...many better places to eat for same price.
They are doing well for new ownership. Greens are in good shape. Fairways need a lot of work, but they are going to start on that this spring. Would definitely go back.
Doesnt even deserve 1 Star.Today a friend and i went to Seven Hills Golf Course and were treated very badly by a member of the club. While my friend and I had already teed off with no one else in sight we were in the middle of the fairway on the 1st hole a member of the club drove up to the tee box and began to yell profanities at my friend who is new to golf and is trying to enjoy the game as is almost everyone else who plays the game. As I attempted to tell the member that my friend is new to golf and they are trying to go as fast as they can he continued to say that they shouldnt even bee on the course if they are still learning to play. I ended up calling up to the front desk and explain to them the situation and that we came here because it was supposed to be a nice course but they were unwilling to assist in any manner. Therefore I will never golf at Seven Hills Golf Course again and will inform others of the harassment the we were treated with because someone was learning to play the game.
The worst Ive ever played
Played here today. Grass on greens needed cutting and rolling. Fairways were just seeded with rye grass to make it look green. They were watering at 11am and we had to dodge sprinklers on greens and then try to put on soggy long grass. Maybe in a couple weeks it may be better. But for now try another place.
Public golf course moderately priced. Fair conditions.
Terrible, terrible, terrible condition! Not worth playing. They ought to pay you to go. Service is very good. Everything else is very inconsistent. Dont bother.
Price was great but course needs better upkeep
The course was not kept well. They said “disease” on the greens but it just wasn’t kept. Plus sprinklers kept going off while we were in the green. We got soaked. When I called the clubhouse to let them know their sprinklers were on they said that their computer system didn’t work, and that there was nothing they could do about it. It was fun, the staff was very kind, but the course was in terrible shape.
It was fun till the fifth hole then the rains came hard was given a rain check and as always treated excellent c u next week
Greens are good, fairways need some work.
This course is coming along very nice since the new owners took over the Greens are in great shape and there working very hard to get the fairways the same the food is pretty good and prices are good very friendly people and the new manager is very pleasant and also is the course pro would check it out if your in the Hudson area
Pretty much a goat farm now. The fairways, tees, and greens are in very bad shape. The layout shows that it was once a nice course.
Good place for a Fish Fry on a Friday.
My best friend was giving me pointers on how to putt. I enjoyed being at the Seven Hills Golfers Club.
This is a VERY poor golf course with a potentially good layout. It just needs a good green keeping team and some money spent on it.
Food good service very slow
Dont waste your money. Terrible course, slow play
They used to have a great restaurant but it closed.
The course is a work in progress much better than last summer hopefully a sign of better things to come
New owners..great service..good food..course is starting to look great..greens are in good condition. .and a 9 -10 on the stempmeter..would recommend..
Friendly staff and nice neighborhood...
Course is in need of work (which starts next week). Some spots on the cart path are in need of serious repair.
Had so much fun,and love the fish fry on Fri, Dan does a great job
New ownership/Good greens and tee boxes/fairways need a lot of work.
New management are making many improvements. Each week we play the course is getting better.
Overall bad shape. Didnt even play. Not worth the time and money.
Excellent golf course reasonably priced.
Course is improving. Staff was very nice.
Great layout and conditions are great greens rolling fast and true
Friday Fish Fry is delicious. Service is great.
Under new management and the greens are rolling nice. The fairways are needing to be taken care of next.
Wednesday dinner was served cold and all items were totally tastless. Awful. Coffee was good.
My Husband and friend from out of state played there today. $15 for 18 holes which included the golf cart. Now for the bad part, the greens were horrible. They were mowing at 11:30 in the morning and left clumps of grass everywhere. Wont be back. So embarassed to have taken our friend there.
Never saw greens like that worse .I will never go back
The course has been in better shape
Very nice people! Course was not perfect but still wasnt bad.
Greens on first 9 were really bad and slightly better on the back 9.
You need to air rate the greens and top dress before you over seed with rye. The greens look like they could be saved.
Greens are mostly OK but fairways need a lot of work.
Needs to improve on prime rib fish good
Greens ok 15 dollars cant expect chaval good for the money
Very helpful and friendly staff!
Gorgeous
Major improvements still in progress.
Course in terrible shape
Course in bad shape!
Nice course for the money
A good fair course.
Cart paths need repairs.
Greens ok, fairways and tee boxes not good
Very ugly experienceSub-par course conditions.
Better than last year
It sprinkled earlier this morning I went to play around 2 pm. Course is closed due to weather.
The course was very poor condition for charging $25.00.
Too pricey for golfing
Fairways need help
Kinda fun
Great fish
Perfect
This place has come really far
Needs lots of work everywhere
Great day, played well
Great price
The person runing this place is an idiot. Its like hes never played golf let alone owned a golf course.
