Good food overall but I probably had one of the worse take out food of the pandemic. Fish and Chips were good but too salty. The weird dish was something the person taking my order suggested. It was a ravioli special that was wrapped like a tortilla and had a turmeric based sauce. The sauce was granular, indicating the turmeric never was hot enough to what I guessing was a coconut milk base. Straight to compost after one bite.
Delicious and fun atmosphere! There is something good for everyone on the menu. Several vegan and gluten-free options. Many specialty cocktails and several great brews on tap. There is an upstairs and downstairs bar, both with dance floors, and we have enjoyed both. Fries are cooked in shared fryer so NOT truly gluten-free! Easy location and outside patio area.
Just walked this establishment on a whim while visiting from Alabama. The environment was fun. We sat by the fire which was nice and cozy for us. The cocktail that I had (water lily) was perfect. It was refreshingly my with a good amount of alcohol in it. The food was very good. I’ll definitely go back.the only reason I give 4 stars instead if 5 is because I asked for no olives in my quesadilla, it had olives in it and when I let the server know she just said @oh that’s the worst, I don’t like olives either”. But since I had no intention of sending it back, I just thought that was interesting and it didn’t upset me. Good vibes.
Went here with my son and his girlfriend. Food was excellent and service was good too. We sat in the patio which my son said had been expanded with more tables and plenty of space around the tables to help with social distancing. The food was spiced well and delicious. I had the bratwurst on a bun with onions and a terrific relish. My wife had the green curry with tofu. My son the meatball sandwich and his girlfriend the punjabi masala. My bratwurst was amazing, I think they make their own sausages and the relish which was complex took it over the top. I had a side of morrocan chili that was equally excellent on its own. I had a sample of my wifes green curry that was also very good with plenty of spices and a hint of citrus. We shared tiramisu for dessert and my son had a jalepeno peach cobbler that was surprisingly good. Ive never had that before. The patio was very nice, but there was the occasional train passing behind the restaurant to shake things up a bit. But. It didnt bother us at all. I would highly recommend this restaurant. They have a wide selection of cocktails, but we decided not to drink this time.
I put in an order to go 40 minutes in advance, ordering, paying and even tipping 20% ahead of time. When I arrived it wasnt ready. A customer who came in after me received his order and left. I waited another 20 minutes until my order was ready. When I asked the host what was the delay he said it had been 24 minutes. I explained I put the order in an hour ago. He said, interesting. The burger was extremely rare and the fries were cold.
Atmosphere is trendy and welcoming. The service is excellent. The food makes you want to order more even if you’re full. I can’t recommend this place enough.
Its a nice place. Good people. Great atmosphere. Good food. Its a good place
The remodel looks great, hoping I went on a bad night because the food was mediocre at best, the cocktails were bad and the service was not great. Lots of interesting items on the menu that I may go back and try but Ill wait awhile and hope they take time to make some improvements.
This venue,, Now Open! Our first time at Lucky YouQuickly seated, ordered good came out in good time. We had Baba Gnoush, fish and chips, I had Green Curry with Tofu. The Chef Josh came out so could compliment him on the amazing tastes. Its a very cool Lounge look, lots of seating. Went downstairs for live music and another bar too!The staff all very nice . A welcome addition to Browns Addition!
First time was great! Great food and drinks. Obviously, great atmosphere. The second time was a take out. I had sesame kimchi and kung pao (chicken). It was really bad, like really bad. It felt like the most expensive asian food in town but with bad taste.
I travel to spokane for work periodically and have always looked for a good spot to relax. This place is awesome. The food was great, service was even better. There is literally no such thing as a typical patron, its a mixture of every type of person and everyone seems accepting of everyone. The atmosphere is like you took a time machine back to when things in this world were all good! Ill definitely be a return customer whenever I get the chance.
Great service for the short time I was in..
The takeout is so good. Mushroom burger, hush puppies... Yes.
Great Venue for seeing a show. The food is good and fair priced. I thought drinks were well made. The sound is great. The staff is EXCELLENT! They get drinks out quickly and even though it was very busy they were still super friendly and personable. This place has it figured out.
Can we just talk about the tasty vegan: score! So hard to find a lounge with edible vegetarian, let alone tasty goodness! I love the flow of the venue, its a really cozy setup. I saw a show here and enjoyed the acoustics and how its a more intimate setting. Def would recommend.
This place is everything. The sound is amazing, atmosphere is super relaxed, and the staff is brilliant. Drink selection is huge, and if you like Gin as much as I do this is your new home. The vast selection of live music is perfect for anyones selective taste. Also, if youre a super night owl that loves to dance the basement is an excellent choice for your next friends night out. Love these people. Cant wait to see whats next
The crew is extremely nice and fast acting. Very clean and a great place to chill. I went in twice but that was in the middle of the of the week. From what I heard it is a party on the weekends, but Im a chill kind of guy
Great food good location sept for the trains lots of them
I enjoyed my time there. Service was good. Atmosphere was quiet. Note real busy until later in the evening!
Great food and amazing service!
Best bar in town. Love the staff. Perfect place to meet up for amazing drinks and delicious food with friends for a casual hang, or to go dance it out with the DJ and live music. 10/10 would recommend.
LOVE THIS LOCAL VENUE! We were excited when Luck You opened and have had many a fun evening there. Dining is superb with fresh and new dishes all the time. Vegetarian and vegan options are plentiful as well so its easy to take a group with different needs. The concert spave upstairs is great with not a bad seat in the house. Downstairs is a smaller space with an eclectic offering of entertainment. The staff is friendly and enthusiastic... clearly enjoying their jobs. Dont forget to treat yourself to the mystery vending machine and snap a pic for the bathroom selfie club. Cant wait for the weather to be nice enough again to enjoy some dinners on the patio!
Its a great space. The bar is solid with good selection and good prices for the downtown area. The music venue is really good, and the dance floor is nice. The restaurant is strong with a good menu and good presentation. Well worth the visit.
Fun environment! Inclusive. Enjoy the food, events and service. Great place to spend time with friends.
This was a cute little place. I enjoyed the drinks and dancing but they are really under staffed. Just one bar tender for the most part so the line got drinks was really long. I will say she was fast and friendly though!
Awesome surprise on my short visit to Spokane. My buddy who lives here recommended it and I couldnt think of a better place to hang out for an evening. Great lounge R&B/Blues music, very relaxing atmosphere, awesome service and the food was incredibly well done. Definitely on my list for return on the next visit!
What a cool bar / music venue. Was not expecting to like it due to location. But really cool and eclectic and cosy. Did not try the food but the menu was great and other peoples food looked good. Will definitely go back.
Nice venue for music/dancing and gatherings. Bar staff know their stuff. Good food. Recommend!
Super chill vibe! Great layout, pretty good sound for shows. Overall, super comfy and all around radtacular!
The best live music venue Spokane has ever seen. Classy, swanky. A real treat. Favorite part was sound level managed well so the place fulfills its billing as a lounge.
Love the scene there, first time i saw a uaz band play they killed it and gad a blast staff was great, bartender was awesome
In progress of improving, but staff could use some public awareness. Its not your backyard or garage where you can say very loosely what ever your thinking and blurt it out like your at a boxing match, or truck stop. High quality means, higher standards for all.
Great atmosphere! Kinda different but good drinks as well.
Really happy that Spokane now has a live music venue of this caliber. The two stages and the design of the facility are top notch, and the staff is very friendly. I really enjoyed my first show there, it will definitely be the first of many in the future.
Stopped in for a show in the basement while travelling through Spokane. Amazing selection of gin, pleasant enough vibe in a converted basement venue way. Service was a little overwhelmed despite it not being very crowded - maybe they were a little short staffed that night. Overall I’d go back for another show in the basement - can’t speak to the main floor.
Great music venue with a full menu and full bar. Substantial selection of meat-free and gluten-free options. Wide range of drinks caters to a variety of drinkers. Eclectic decor and unique, atypical building design. Overall, there are still a few kinks to smooth out, but a great start for a young venue!
Was lit during the rave. But after going and seeing a bunch of 40 year old people in there today. I can only give 4 stars sadly..
My favorite venue in town. Great atmosphere and their food is excellent!
Always a good time.. even when their busy.. food is great.. bartenders always treat me well..they remember what I want..Kristin is always ready to go downstairs even when it’s closed to go get me Monkey 47..
I love listening to music at Spokanes premiere music venue. Its been fabulous and Im grateful we have it. Ive also enjoyed the food, which is tasty and reasonably priced. There are a few things I hope to see improved.1. The piped-in music that you hear before the talent takes the stage is typically kind of loud. Everyone is yelling to be heard, which is unpleasant. Whats the purpose of blasting your patrons with canned music?2. Theres no place to hang a coat or jacket. Are we supposed to sit on our coats?3. The drinks. My experience at the bar has been consistently miserable. First, you have to stand in line for a drink. Doesnt matter if you have a table -- youve got to leave your friends to stand in line. This really is an inconvenience. For one thing, as Lucky You is often understaffed, getting a drink might take a while. Ive stood in line for 10 minutes or more to get a drink. And once you get your cocktail, confusion and disappointment are likely to set in. A margarita with orange juice and club soda? Huh? Please, just a classic margarita for me. Having given up on Lucky Yous margaritas, I tried a gin and tonic that was no better. Seemed like it was made with club soda instead of tonic water. Certainly not worth the wait or the price. All that said, let me emphasize how much I enjoy listening to music at LY -- they get GREAT talent -- and how much I enjoy the food. But Lucky You needs to be a *host* as well, which means attending to the needs of its guests. I suggest that LY turn down the pre-show piped-in music so that their guests can talk without shouting past one another before the talent takes the stage. Give us a place to hang our coats and bags. (I mean, why *wouldnt* you? Are hooks expensive?) Rethink the bar setup. Seriously rethink the bar setup. Finally, here is a recipe for a classic margarita:1 1/2 ounces 100% agave tequila1 ounce orange liqueur (Cointreau, Grand Marnier or just plain Triple Sec)3/4 ounce freshly-squeezed lime juicea splash of agave nectar or simple syrup
I ordered three different dishes and I don’t think they tasted good
Ive seen quite a few shows here and its always been a really fun and unique experience. Id go see a show here over the knitting factory any day.
This place is amazing. You could literally spend every day here. They have so many types of shows and events here. The food is fantastic! Great happy hour!
Its like being at a show with great sound in your friends basement. Also great food!
I came here on a whim looking for food. I was not disappointed. The green curry was such a cacophony of delicious flavors working in concert, Im on love. I didnt realize that the atmosphere was more of a nightlife thing but Id definitely come back later with friends and recommend this place.
The last hour of the night is the best hour here. Thursdays DJ is the best. Try Thursday, Friday is hit or miss. They never have Jagger?... Bar/club?!?! basic beats kinda eh... They could definitely step up the entertainment. Try a soul night.Update: Live music is usually fun here. Anybody with a MacBook can DJ like these guys, spotify is cheaper... The name of this place makes me think of the cliche pelvic tattoo on women Lucky You...
Nice venue, attentive staff, great food at reasonable prices
The Acoustics are amazing! Great place to see your favorite bands. Huge gin selection but lacking on the whiskey selection. Would love to see more local beers on tap. Over all I had a great experience. Ill be visiting this venue again soon.
Doorman was helpful, ticket gal and bartenders very friendly and nice! Great atmosphere.
Some of the best food in town!!!
Love the vibe + impressed by their food selection.
Great small venue! Has an upstairs and downstairs stage and bars. Great food as well! Has an outside patio that is nice to sit out on during the summer.
The intimate venue was a great experience for live music, but the bar left alot to be desired. Ordered a whiskey sour that tasted like a warhead candy. Wife ordered a screwdriver and got an OJ on the rocks.. both drinks were in premixed squirt bottles. If youre gonna charge $7-8 a drink, it better not just be sugar water... Luckily the Coke I ordered tasted fine and had a good time after that. 3 stars.
This used to be sunset junction? Nice job, people - outstanding remodel!
Love it really great place have a great time to jam out, eat and drink with friends or family members over 21 of course.
Loved the decor and atmosphere. It has an upstairs and a downstairs and they both play live music.
Amazing food with a delicious and creative menu. Favorite spot for a date night or to see great music with friends.
Great food, good drinks, and a cool place to see live music.
As an out of towner from south of Spokane, I found this venue easy to get at and easy to leave from. Lucky You if you attend a live act here! I intimate, friendly and my new fav!
I was excited to try this place out. It looks pretty cool on the inside. Has a really divey feel to it (but I like dive bars) but $4 for a can of beer?
Had a great time on holloween but felt they were understaffed. Couldnt get a drink after waiting 10 min at the bar upstairs. I think a mini bar out back would be a great addition.
Nice atmosphere a little pricey good food
Christina was an amazing bartender. Her drinks were amazing and let me just say the trout I order looked like art and tasted like it too. Amazing:
Its ok. Food was decent. Sound was good. Prices are a bit on the high side.
Definitely a surprise. Has a retro 70s vibe, but the service, people and the live music are truly top quality. Definitely not a dive bar!
Fun venue, good food and drinks, pleasant staff. Fantastic music!
Cool place! Really good live music. Good patio and delicious food.
Kung pao was quite good.
Nice place! Saw Allen Stone here for Kareoke! Its really cool place!
Great vibe and unique, delicious menu. When I went in there earlier it smelled like my grandmas kitchen growing up. I recommend the chili.
A guy punched my friend in the face andthey threw my friend out of the bar who didnt actually start anything. Along with that they didnt throw the guy out of the bar that started the fight and then took $60 from us that we paid to meet someone and refused to refund it even though we didnt do anything. Dont go there. Its a terrible place.
Lucky you lounge was great....good food. Awesome vibe. Lots of vegetarian options...falafel was dope!
Amazing food and drinks! Best sounded and lights in a small concert venue in Spokane. You find want to miss s show here.
Great food and drinks! The staff is always very friendly and I love the decor.
Nice place, great food and pricing and great service!
Fun atmosphere, always something to do, upstairs or down!
The atmosphere, cocktails, and food were all amazing.
Great night off jazz & Christmas music!
I had a great time at a Free Show the put on, the band were great. It is a fun place to catch some live music and I for one am looking forward to my next visit.
Awesome new venue! Super cool deco, great events, Spokanes up and coming spot
Amazing atmosphere! New favorite spot!
So fun! The whole staff was wonderful and the drinks were delicious! Will definitely go back!
Dont order a margarita from Kirsten. Hers tasted like club soda and salt. Dont take a drink back to Kirsten. She wont have it. Dont suggest that the other bartender that makes a proper margarita make one or you will be called sexist. Dont complain or you will be escorted out by bouncers. Customer service is lost on this place.
Great food, friendly staff. We had a great time dancing there!!
Fun and old style dance club. Small dance floor but very danceable.
Just checked it out today! Super cool placeBtw “AMY”,If you want a cheaper beer you could just stay home or go next door to Rosauers and get yourself some keystone. Just some food for thought.
They have some amazing food. Although their trivia host leaves something to be desired....
Great menu, wonderful service, delicious food. Kind of divey decor.
Pretty quiet for a Saturday evening, but the food was good!
Love the vibe and the drinks, not a fan of the food.
Really fun interior, Ive only been in the downstairs section so far. Bartender is really fun!
C&K do it again! Lovely place, great food, and no better place to see a show in town
Intimate atmosphere for a luv-music venue.
My first time, had a blast !!
In love with this place! Will definitely come back to this charming establishment!!!
Nice venue, bartenders could use work. The girl tending was very rude and served several other people behind us in line before she got to us, even though we had been waiting to get drinks.
Great atmosphere, Going to be a wonderful music venue!
