Love this place. Membership is a formality. I go in sometimes & bring my guitar, which seems to brighten the mood. The folks inside vary sometimes, but every time Ive been, I feel like Im at home, in a bar in West Virginia, telling lies, losing at pool, & forgetting the lyrics to whatever song someone yells. Havent been in a few months, but Im due for a day or 3 just being around my kind of people. Its also nice that its only a mile or two from home, so if last call comes and we arent ready to be put to bed, Ill give out an open invite to the house.Definitely worth spending a few slow evenings at The Open Club. Ill be the guy with the acoustic guitar, forgetting every word to Patience or even funnier, playing rap songs on that great & STILL forgetting the words to Milli Vanilli.
Bartender Monica is not a happy person and very rude.
This is a great friendly place
A has been establishment. No music, no atmosphere just a bar whatever the 5 to 8 regulars go to get drunk. Skip it!
