I live in Charlotte NC and have been traveling to Spartanburg SC on many occasions but I never knew that this Regal movie theater was behind the Westgate Mall (and Im not meaning the one from the same movie chain located inside the mall).. this theater is pretty nice and I enjoyed seeing a movie here (UNHINGED).. I would come back again in the future..

This is the best movie theater in the Spartanburg area. We have enjoyed coming to this location for years now. Nothing like the theater located inside Westgate Mall. Stadium seating also. Lots of snacks, popcorn & drinks to choose from. Large location is a plus for me. Hate feeling like Im standing beside people Im not with and here, its not the case. Excellent addition to the area!

We got our tickets online to save time and arrived on time, but after standing in a line that didnt move for ten minutes, and then ten minutes of the line finally moving we missed the first ten minutes of the movie, I ordered quickly, just popcorn, soda, and sour patch kids, so to make the experienced worse she informs me that I will have to walk through the huge crowd to get the candy myself, I told her forget it give me my money back, finally I drag my four year old though the crowd because I cant leave her by herself, I get back to the register and she informs me that I got the wrong candy, are you kidding me! I am seeing red by this point because we have been there for 25 minutes and have missed the beginning of the movie, after that she finally decides to get the candy for me, I will not be going back and thank you for reminding me why I quit going to the theaters ten years ago

Some days are better than others. Its not uncommon to purchase a candy only to find out its sold out after paying. Popcorn seasonings tend to be out or missing from time to time as well. I will say they seem to always be appropriately staffed, and their theaters are always clean.

Very clean theatre and the staff are always helpful. Their prices are a bit high for concessions, and they could stand to upgrade their seats to compete with other theatres in the area. If you’re looking for a standard movie theatre, this is your place. No bells and whistles.

This place never ceases to amaze my wife and I. We havent tried to see a movie in 3D but the theater is great. They have amazing employees working to serve each and every customers.

While visiting from New York, I treated my family and we enjoyed ourselves. A lot more cleaner and the hospitality is something you can only find in the south.

The ticket booth was closed Saturday night on opening weekend of Bad Boys. We stood in line at the concessions for close to 30 minutes to get tickets for 1917 (excellent movie by the way). It was ridiculous. And assigned seats are just dumb.

Place was clean at the time we arrived, but there were food items on their menu that was discontinued and that had me very disappointed (I really wanted the gooey cinnabon bites). Also if you are going to serve soft pretzels have condiments for them such as icing, sugar and cinnamon or something.

Regal was great! Im in a wheelchair and was a little worried about going to the movies. I actually got in free. If you are in a wheelchair and someone assists you, there is no charge for you. That was a nice little surprise today. Everyone was super friendly. The lines moved very fast for movie snacks. I will definitely go back

Reserved seating??? Not a fan of the reserved seating. We had couple friends coming from three different places and it was the biggest hassle to get us all seated together. I’m not understanding why we can’t walk in and choose our seats anymore. To top that, there’s a ticket checker at each hallway now and he’s before the women’s bathroom. So, I came out of the theater to go to the bathroom, was going right back to the movie and he wanted to see my ticket. I didn’t take my phone wallet to the bathroom (there’s nowhere to put it!) so comes hassle #2. Talk about ridiculous. If NCG isn’t showing it, I won’t go.

Place is amazing. Its always clean. The staff from what I can tell loves working there. Also are willing to have a normal conversation with you while you pick your food and movie out.

Very clean and modern facility. I loved how nice the staff members were. The snack and drinks are still priced on the higher side but I appreciate the student discount added to the ticket price. Overall, I would recommend Regal Spartan movie complex.

Pretty good theater. Was full so everyone must enjoy it. Good snack and drinks bar. Arcade for the kids. Mall is close by as well.

The theater was filthy, trash was not emptied, floors were days old sticky & service extremely slow...... so disappointed this visit!

Convenient and fairly clean. Sometimes it gets a little cold in the summertime but overall I have a good experience when I go.

Had not been here in a bit, things have changed slightly. If you purchase tickets at the kiosk, you will be assigned seats, which you can change by pressing the desired seat. Not sure why they are doing this other then to maximize the seating capacity, not sure if I like it or not.....

This theater is usually fairly clean & on time. Even with the new assigned seats we got pretty much where we wanted. But if you get chilled easily take a coverup even in summer. Also some rooms are less sound proofed than others.

This is my last choice for watching movies in the area. The management never seems to have it together. The concessions setup is a joke. If you try to get a refill during your movie, you are going to wait. It is the most frustrating organization that i have ever seen. And the employees love to stand behind the counter and fight over whos next to not take care of the customer.

We always have fun here. Place is kept clean.

We Love to go on Tuesdays to see a Movie. Thats the Best deal they have going on.

Located just behind the mall in Spartanburg, you will have no problem finding this theater. Ample parking and a clean lobby made this whole experience that much more enjoyable. The seating is comfortable and the sound is superb. With three movie theaters in Spartanburg, you might feel a bit overwhelmed. This one has a current movie selection and many available show times. Highly recommended.

Husband & I went Friday night 1/18 to see Glass. Employees were very helpful. Pleasantly surprised seeing how well-run this movie theater is. Would recommend for all. We did not utilize the snack bar because they actually allowed us to bring in our own bottled water. Very pleased with the movie & the theater.

Nice and clean with comfy seats. Nothing crazy but definitely adequate.

Watching the new ford V. Ferrari movie was quite enjoyable. The staff were very helpful, and the movie made me cry. Very clean and organized.

I came to see Queen & Slim on 11/29 and when I came into the theater, our reserved seats were TRASHED with garbage and soda spilled all over the floor, we had to let management know and sent a young man to mop the stuff up, although he mopped our area up, they failed to clean the rest of the area around us up. I’ve never came to a movie theater where I’m welcomed by TRASH, usually when you come into a theater they clean the whole theater up before letting a new group in. I’m very disappointed, NCG movie theater would never let this happen!

First time back in a few years and I will never come back :| should have went to NCG this place was incredibly dirty. Drinks/popcorn from previous showings still there. Trash piled up so bad it was toppling out of the bins. Absolutely disappointed

Young man checking tickets sent us to wrong theater. Thought we had made mistake with starting time but willing to miss beginning but realized we were at end of movie. And missed first 20 min if we went to other theater. Went to ticket window at least got tickets to come back but had 30.00 worth of concessions to carry home lol.

Love this place. However, you have got to have more concession help at peak movie times! Having only 2 working concessions isnt working, especially since most movies start about the same time. That would be 5 stars!

The theater wasnt very clean. The staff wasnt friendly at all. They overcharge for stale popcorn that they pop in and the morning and sell all day. Save your money and go to NCG in Hillcrest. Its much nicer and more affordable.

I love seeing great movies in one location.

This will be the last time we ever come to this theater. Having to stand in the concession line for your tickets is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen. Trying to force people to spend more money, by making them stand in that line to get their tickets is just wrong. Not to mention, you also have to choose where you’ll sit before you even get into the theater. We got into the theater where the movie was playing, and one of our seats was covered in plastic and was not usable! My husband has to sit a seat away from us. We would not recommend the Spartan 16.

The girl who sold us our tickets tonight was nice. The usher didnt tell us what side of the theater our movie was on. I had to ask him, which was a first. And then the theater was nasty. It had not been cleaned between movies. Popcorn was all over the floor, drinks and trash were in the cupholders. This is the first time ive had such a bad experience at this theater. They did not appear short staffed. Staff members were in the lobby behind a Star Wars display and most of the registers were open. I have a photo but cant get it to post :(

I left my hat in the theatre yesterday, November, 20th. I was in the 1:15 showing of Harriet. I just called to be connected to lost and found and was prompted by a system that asked for my zip code and then to press 5 to be connected to this Regal 16 in Spartanburg, SC. No one answered. Ever. No connection to lost and found. I live 16 miles from the theatre and called to see if the hat had been turned in with the intent of traveling the 16 miles to retrieve the hat. Seems I cannot get a verification that the hat is there or not. Very very inconvenient. I could end of traveling to get the hat and there would be no hat! Not user friendly.

Love this place! Clean and wonderful seating ! Bit pricey, but worth the $

The movies Soo loud!I dont understand why it has to be because it wasnt dialogue heavy. It was annoying.

Price for matinee was reasonable. We didnt care for the box office being outside especially in cold or rainy weather.Seats are narrow and barely recline. If you are hoping to cuddle with your date, its not happening..the armrest doesnt fully go back in between the seats. The theatre was incredibly tidy and clean.If you need water they refuse to charge you for a JUST the cup- you have to buy water for the price of soda, then they offer to charge you approximately 80 cents less for 1 liter of bottled water. Manager on duty doesnt care if you have a medical condition and lacks basic customer service skills. Specifically Im talking about the manager wearing a pastel yellow dress shirt with gray slacks and the awful comb over. Its all about money folks. Make sure you bring in your OWN drinks and snacks to avoid the pricey concessions.

Went and saw Wreck it Ralf 2. Everything was good. I dont buy the food or drinks though. Kids loved it. Sound was just right my little one wasnt trying to cover her ears.

The movie have been so crispy and the theatre is ALWAYS CLEAN. THAT IS WHAT I LOVE. The crew is always nice and make the best small talk.

My mother and I enjoyed it We went to see Star Wars Rise of Skywalker and everything was a great moment to remember with it being the holidays

Saw Downton Abbey here...our whole crew dress the part...nice stadium seating

I typically go to Hollywood 20 in Greenville but the movie we wanted to see was sold out there. So we came here. What a disappointment. I dont plan to come back here unless its a last resort. This place wasnt clean, outside or inside, trash everywhere. The employees were rude, not courteous or friendly @ all. This is honestly a nice location but lack of cleanliness, & kind employees can make all the difference in whether a customer continues to support a business or not. This place left a really bad impression in those areas.

Everything seems overpriced and the attendants seemed more interested in each other than their visitors.

Comfortable seats and I went during the day so it was not crowded in the theater. Like all theaters food is pricey. Eat before or after the movie. The employees were nice and worked with me when it was my first time using the movie AP for prepaid movie ticket which helps beat the normal line.

The rooms always smell like a bathroom the popcorn and drinks are CRAZY EXPENSIVE the tickets for 2 people were $23 like ? Go to NCG you gotta even pay for the seasoning oh and did I mention the theater wasn’t cleaned when we went in for our movie go to NCG

5 dollar movies made a great date night

Movie experience was decent. Seating is a little small. I went on a Sunday to see Us and it was half full at 5pm. The lobby was filthy and obviously understaffed. There was popcorn all over the floors through out the halls and near concessions. Bathrooms were clean. All around an average to decent experience. Could have been better.

The only reason I put 4 stars instead of 5 is because the counter help was just standing around and not taking anyones orders. The movie started at 5:20 and we were still standing in line with about 16 other people. Otherwise everything was awesome!!

We were highly disappointed the last two times we have been! The movie we wanted to see was only playing here, which is the only reason we went! There was popcorn EVERYWHERE and it looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks! I remember when they built this one and it used to be very nice, even though it was more expensive. It makes me not want to go back to know that it was not being taken care of. Ive always worked with people and retail, etc. and to me, that is very important!

Nice! Clean theatre, nice temperature settings, attentive staff and comfortable seats with a rock to them and nice cushioning! Very pleased, this will be our new theatre! No crowds or overly packed lines!

Well cared for clean theater, first run movies. Lots of choices to choose from. Little high on the refreshments, but what theater isnt these days.

Service is quick. The auditorium was clean. The seats were comfortable. The sound and technical aspect was great.There is always a variety of movies showing and something for everyone.As with any movie house the treats were very expensive. I think more people would buy the treats if they were more reasonably priced.I will definitely return.

My fav theatre. My son & I are here pretty often. Nice, clean & great ppl but..... recently they changed the way in which you seat. You have to choose your seat when you buy your ticket & I find that sort of aggrivating due to choosing your pre arranged seat and when you walk in the theater big crowds right around you and I like to sit away from the crowd if possible & with that type of seating you never know how your experience will be. You might sit beside a wild bunch & hate it or sit w a ok bunch & like it. I just am not into the new way they are doing things.

Just saw Lion King in 3 D it was awesome! Nice escape from the heat

Fair movie experience. Walls need more insulation to block out noise from blending into adjacent theaters.A little disappointed considering the price. Theres a reason I only use free passes to see movies here.NCG across town is a much better experience.

Took my Nephew to see the new Godzilla, staff was friendly and we had a good time.

Dont want to go to any other theater. Crew is kind (most of the time) and try their best to be quick. Movies are very good quality!

My family and I attended the 7:45 pm showing of Avengers Endgame at Spartan 16. We arrived an hour early and lined up for the showing. After arriving at our seats I then got in the concessions line. The lobby was absolute chaos. The line I was in, as well as the one to my right did not move for a solid 15 minutes. In total I waited 50 minutes for service. I ordered 3 large drinks and paid nearly $22 only to be informed when they were brought to me that they were out of ice. Why she couldn’t have told anyone before is beyond me. I had $22 worth of room temperature soda that I waited nearly an hour for. I asked her for a refund and was told they would not give one. I will from now on wait to get tickets at NCG and will not be a patron at Regal anymore. It was a very sour experience. The movie was amazing, but the theatre and staff was horrible.

I am leaving this business a 5 star review because they deserve it and to balance business Google ratings from having to deal with unreasonable people in the general public!

Im 12 and me and my dad go here all the time when we wanna go see movies and all u people that are giving 1 star thats false because every time we go i see good movies, cleaned lobbys, great prices, and even when we didnt want a drink they let me and my dad bring our water in!
