Was driving through South Carolina today on 85 trying to find a place to buy fireworks all were closed when I called poor Pauls deleted answer give me a number to call I called it and talked with the gentleman you said theyre not open but couldnt meet me there in 20 minutes and open the store for me to buy some fireworks and he did very good prices very nice people and thank you very much.

This place is so much cheaper than getting them at the stands and has much better quality fireworks. Staff is friendly, and i loved the large veriaty to choose from, anything from smaller sruff for kids all rhe way too the max 500 gram limit of doing some realy nice shows.

Very busy and full of commotion but a great one stop shop for all your celebration needs and wants!

This is why we came this year its such a good experience from last year we came back... Furthermore, i shopped around and these folks have the best prices around overall..This is a local owned locally operated business and the prices are better...I would highly recommend.. They have an incredible selection of everything you can think of.. The place is set up easy to understand and negotiate and assess where things are.. There are signs up to tell you where everything is so its easy to navigate your way around..The guy in front of me bought over a $1,000 worth of stuff and they had him and out in no time.. I was Impressed.. My experience from my little $200 worth of stuff was quite quick haha..In conclusion I cant say enough good about this place and I would highly recommend this place over anywhere.. This establishment is clean, organized and the prices were great we will return..

Paul sure aint Poor. Fireworks are like burning money so how can I complain but have had much better deals at tiny fireworks stands.

They had a huge selection, the older lady that worked in there was the absolute sweetest, and knowledgeable of all the inventory. She even took the time to scan the boxes and show me what each firework box looked like in the sky. We will definitely be coming back for more through the year!

Take a zoo, fill it with class C explosives and cut America lose in it...I recommend it to anyone with aspirations of pyrotechnic glory.

Every holiday they got what you need

Let me start off by saying WOW! It’s honestly hard to put into words how positive our experience was here. My husband puts on our own fireworks show every year, so every year we take a trip to SC to purchase our fireworks and we’ve never really found a fireworks store that stood out. They were all kind of the same “tourist trap” type stores. But when my husband found Poor Paul’s we knew we had to stop bye and see what they had. And we are so glad we did! I called a head of time and spoke to the owner Dorris who is 83, but don’t let her age fool you she defiantly knows her stuff when it comes to fire works! Dorris and her daughter (sorry I can’t remember her name ️) met us at the store and helped us chose fire works according to what my husband had in mind. They were so knowledgeable about all their inventory and were able to recommend a lot of things. Everything was so cheaply priced too, you honestly can’t beat them! After purchasing everything they gave us some free items, and some free things for our daughter too which made her day.️ They were both so nice and kind and even stood there and talked to us for almost two hours, and let our daughter show them every picture in our phone with back story lol. Would 100% recommend them to ANYONE and will 100% be back next year, or if my husband has it his way we’ll be back before the 4th lol. Thank y’all for your kindness and amazing fireworks, y’all are awesome!

The store was not open, so I called the number listed and the owner came right out and opened just for us. She was a kind, caring and generous woman. Willing to help with everything and even tossed in a few free items. A few days before christmas, and the store is not very busy till new years. So it was great to be treated so nicely and have the store to ourselves.
