We have enjoyed both of our visits here for girls night out. The staff members are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are a lot of fun and have great themes to choose from. Everything inside is extremely clean and neat. Great prices, too!
Had a great time with all my coworkers! Loved that we could all be working on different things in the rooms, but that it all came back together at the end. The staff was hilarious and played right along with us! Such a fun time had by all. I have had a ton of compliments for choosing this place as our team builder and I plan to tell other coordinators about it as well!
Great time with the family. We chose the Harry Trotter room and it was fun for us and our 10 & 8yr old. The staff was excellent and the experience will be a wonderful memory. Hope to go back to try a different room.
We had a great time. The lady helped us when we got stuck on clues and she always came back and checked on our progress throughout the game. Since we was so close to finishing she gave us a few extra minutes since there wasnt a party booked right after us. They even let me do my deposit in cash since this was a surprise for my husbands birthday. It was a great experience and a fun time!
Great place and fun times. The owner is awesome. My family and I have been here 4 times so far and love it everytime.
This was by far my worst experience at an escape room and I’ve done plenty. There were a ton of mechanical issues that made solving the puzzles nearly impossible. The worker would come on the speaker and have to walk us through things because even with the right info, the mechanics were not working. Additionally, the guy was clearly reading down a list of steps, so he wasn’t quite able to follow when we would ask for specific help. The owner audibly yelled at the guy running our game for a good 10-15 minutes, which meant we were unable to ask for a clue when needed and it was incredibly awkward for us.. (the guy was pleasant, so I don’t know what she was so upset with him about. We tried not to listen in). The room we were in was difficult to move around in and there was only 3 of us (half the room’s capacity). There are multiple areas for improvement. This is pricy for an escape room and you can get a better experience elsewhere.
By far the worst escape room experience I’ve ever had. I didn’t know you could set the bar this low. Room was mediocre at best, but the host “Ms. G” outright ruined it. Rude, combative. Downright mean. She was impatient, scolding us if we ventured off course at all. Much of the tech was broken and she would then come “fix it” (reboot mid-game) or just tell us it was easy and it was user error. This happened repeatedly throughout the game and by the end we gave up. I advised them prior to the game we had a member who was hard of hearing. When my friend did not hear her clues, she would become audibly frustrated and then instruct me to tell her. “You better tell her” was said multiple times. We were supposed to play a second game after and we were so miserable we walked out. Do not waste your time or money.
We did the Indiana Jones room and it was super fun. Will definitely go again to try the other rooms!
The staff were super friendly and the escape room itself was fun! felt homely and was an enjoyable time for my girlfriend and i.
Great place to have a great time with friends or family! My daughter loved it and will be back! Super nice people as well!
My rating is mostly off the fact that we booked a room at a specified time. Arrived and there was a sign on the door that said they would not return an hour and change past our window for the room. Not to mention we drove from out of town to partake. I understand things come up, but I also understand there are ways to take down the ability to book prior.
I was going to refrain from posting a review because I don’t like to rate companies bad, but this is unacceptable! The rooms were really bad, that’s not even my issue though. What the owner says in her responses is downright rude! She has no filter and she will immediately push off any blame for her terrible rooms on the customers. Mrs G, you should be ashamed of yourself for the way you handle poor reviews.
Great girls night! Very friendly and professional staff. This room really picked our brain. Will be back soon!
It was ok, We did the scary escape room. We’ve been to scary escape rooms before and this one was just ok. Maybe could use some actors in there like some others do. Maybe some better or more realistic decorations. Not at all what we were expecting And we don’t believe worth what we paid for it. Don’t think we’d come back unless they do some upgrades.
Ms.G set the stage for a good time!!! Can’t wait to go back! I recommend location for sure!!
We went with a group and it was so much fun! I had done one before and this one was harder! There are limited hints which makes it more challenging! Very fun and would go back for sure! Staff was so nice and helpful. Nice building and they have snacks for cheap. :-)
Such a great time for a group of 12 year olds in the beginner room. Kanniah was so patient with the girls and made sure they finished the room and escaped! Such a fun time and I know they all learned a lot!! So much fun!!!
The experience was very fun. Rooms are a little smaller than others I have done but the challenges were very good and thought out.
My family and I had a great time and the staff was completely awesome. I will take my kids back again.
My daughter and I had so much fun! We did the Harry trotter room as she is a big fan.. the lady on staff really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience.. looking at booking the birthday party soon!
Recently did the Harry Trotter room with some friends (some were HP fans, some were not). The building itself is actually a little nicer that others I have been to. It looks like it used to be a medical office of some sort, so the waiting area doesnt get too crowded. Also, they included a printed photo at the end, which I have never seen included with the room before! That was a pleasant surprise! On the the room - I havent done a lot of escape rooms, but this was the least enjoyable experience I have had. As soon as we got in the room, the staff told us where to start (which was unusual), and kept checking in (via the camera/speaker to check our answers and guide us through the order of the puzzles. We never asked for hints, and they didnt count them as hints, but it really broke the immersion. One key we found unlocked from a puzzle was to a lock in a non-obvious location, and as soon as we got the key, the voice on the speaker directed us towards where to use the key - We didnt even have a chance to try! Some of the puzzles werent working properly, which made it challenging to progress. Also, this might be better as a 4 person room, we came with 5, and it was still crowded. You basically have to do each puzzle in order one at a time, and the space isnt big enough to have more than 4 people doing the same thing at a time. You wind up with some people just watching. The decor wasnt bad - The Harry Potter fans in our group seemed to enjoy the room, but the non fans were disappointed in the quality. Maybe it was just this room, as reviews about other rooms seem to be positive. If I lived closer, I might go try another room, but not for an 1.5 hour drive.Management, if you read this, try to have your staff take the training wheels off. Part of the fun of a room is floundering around a bit trying to figure out whats next. If the staff truly need to guide you through the order of things for you to be able to complete it, then maybe the design needs to be improved. Im happy to ask for hints when I get stuck, but I feel a little robbed when I get them before I even have a chance to try it myself!Edit: I am adding a star after the owners response - The website does in fact say the room is suitable for ages 8-15. The wear on the room, and extra guidance does make more sense considering that. Still room for improvement, but also my fault for not checking that beforehand. Didnt think my friends would pick a kids room!
Our Church Youth Group had a great time. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitely book again.
I really enjoyed this!! We went on a Sunday so it wasn’t really busy. The price was great! We chose the military bomb and it was just our group. The service was great very nice and friendly. Even gave us some extra time! I will definitely be returning!!
The Escape Room was awesome!! The staff where so helpful and very knowledgeable down to the T! We had an awesome time definitely will be going back!!
This was a great time. I would recommend it for sure. We decided that it sounded like fun activity for my daughters birthday party and it was. It could be a fun date night as well. In fact, my wife and I were talking about coming back for a date night as we were pulling out of the parking lot.It seemed that there was only one person running the place and they were busier than I expected. It would be nice to see that young lady get some assistance. That being said, Nubi (I hope I spelled that right), you did a great job and you handled what appeared to be a stressful situation with confidence and courtesy. Keep it up.
We went for a team building experience and had such a fun time. It was awesome to see everyone work together to solve the clues. Ms. G took great care of us while we were there! Would definitely recommend the experience to anyone.
It was a good attempt at escape rooms, but missed the mark in several ways. Giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because it has potential, but needs a lot more attention to detail as well as a larger staff to properly run everything. Probably will not return at least for a while.UPDATE: Changed my rating to 1 star. Owner totally neglected my review accusing me of being a repeat review. This kind of ignorance is exactly why this place is not striving for success. If multiple people truly are saying the same thing, odds are the business has an inherent issue. If youre checking the ratings, ignore the high ratings obviously spammed by the owners buddies.
Had a great time escaping the Military Bomb Squad by the skin of our teeth! Ms. G was a great hostess and really helped us out when we needed. Even after I was frustrated from trying to get out of the first room she calmly helped us through the rest. We will be back to do other rooms when we move here!
I have been to this place 2 times and I love it! Bring so much fun and laughter! Plus the service is amazing they are so nice!! Recommend
The staff member was fantastic. She paid close attention to what we were doing and realized one of our clues was not working properly, so she paused our time, fixed it and was very helpful. She was very friendly and was even cheering us on. We did the Harry Trotter room and had a great time. Would recommend the place.
Great game master. Very nice experience. Thank you Mrs. G
Had my sons 13th birthday party here and it was a great experience!! All the boys had a great time!! Staff was very nice and helpful!! They were patient with them as the boys set off all the bombs in the Military room so quickly!!
A group of ten went for my cousins birthday and we had a ball! We did the CSI CRIME SCENE, mind boggling but fun! We ESCAPED!
We did the Harry trotter room. Many of the clues and ways to interact with the room have sensitive wiring which means you have to be careful about what you touch. We were instructed not to touch multiple things. The workers had to come over the speaker multiple times because something wouldnt work. Also the workers would give us clues and tell us how to do something without us asking for help. Its an escape the room, let us figure it out! Easily the worst escape the room Ive ever been in.
Such a good time if it wasn’t for Mrs. G we would have never survived!
My fiancé and I have been to this place twice, so far, and it’s awesome!! We definitely wouldn’t make it out of a REAL escape room so thank goodness for the “clues” provided for us. We have completed the -war- room and the newest they have available. They are both different and unique. If you’re looking for a fun date night or even a place to go with your friends, I totally recommend Escape Room Adventures. The staff is extremely friendly and informative and it is an easy place to find, plus there’s tons of places to eat if you want to make it to dinner before or after. Prices aren’t bad at all, either!
I took my 11 yr old daughter, her friend and my 9 yr old son. They wanted to do the Black & White room. Even though we did not succeed, we had a blast. Ms. G was fantastic. We will definitely be back but will do an easier room next time. LoL.
Our group had a good time together, but the room itself was rather dull. We picked the Harry Potter themed room, but there could definitely have been more love given in the design. We had significant trouble getting one of the voice-activated clues to actually work - our timer had to be paused so the staff could come in and reset the computer hosting the system. There was also no AC, and the room got warm quickly.
We drove over 1.5 hours to do the Harry Trotter room after a raving review from another customer. We arrived a bit late but had called to let them know we would be late and they said it would be no problem. We got there and they had already begun without us and didn’t even check us in or know we were coming at all. The staff was very nice and helpful with all the directions and such. We began the room after getting specific directions on where to start. We didn’t feel as though the room had a good flow to it. We constantly had to be told what to do next or what to focus on since we could only really do one thing at a time and the staff had to come in twice due to the items not working correctly or getting stuck. The room had nothing to do with Harry Potter other than some stickers on the wall. We did manage to escape in time and got our pictures taken. The experience wasn’t our favorite as we’ve done several other escape rooms and had a better time. The service was fine but would probably not return for another visit.
We had a great time. Definitely will come back and have some more fun with them. If you never been you must try it out.
We really enjoyed our experience! The puzzles were challenging, but lots of fun, and the staff was awesome! Pay close attention to what they tell you when you go into your room! They tend to leave subtle hints to get you started in the right direction!
We did the Nightmare room and it was so fun! Completely dark till you find your light. It was challenging which is good... didnt want it to be so easy that we got out way before an hour was up. We finished with only a couple minutes left so I felt like we really did get our moneys worth. Mrs. G was great! Helpful with booking and great to explain the way things worked, as this was our first escape room. It was really good to have access to a few clues because we sure needed them! Put together really well. Thanks for a fun day!
It was a little busy when we went and we did not make appointment I would suggest doing that first but Mrs. G took care of us we drove 1hr and she made sure our time was not wasted. We had a great time here our game master was awesome Mrs. G was the best she really made sure we had a great time. This was a great place and we will be bringing family and friends back to try the rest of the rooms. We did the Harry Trotter room. We will be back to try the military room
We made a reservation for a 5:45 escape room, got there at 5:30 per the website instructions, and did not start until after 6:00 because there was a large walk-in group that came in before us and took our room. Not sure the point of a reservation if it doesn’t hold your spot for the chosen time.It was clear they were severely understaffed and could not accommodate the amount of parties at the time we were there. One staff member was friendly and slightly apologetic, while the other ran around getting rooms ready, and barely spoke to us. Their lack of employees became clear during the game itself as we would have to wait several minutes to communicate and get help from them during the game, which in the end, affected our experience. We have been to several escape rooms and the overall quality of this one as compared to the others was poor. Pay an extra couple bucks, drive to Greenville, and go to Breakout Greenville. We’ve done almost every game there and they are all amazing!
Had a group of six booked for a knockoff Harry Potter escape room. Had our reservations booked for four weeks. The night before our booking, someone calls our friends phone to say there is a problem with the reservation that “there was a party already booked for our reservation or that they were closing early.” (Yes, they said both things on the phone) Then they said they didn’t know how we were able to book a reservation in the first place. Our friend said we booked online a month ago and had our confirmations. The lady said we couldn’t have booked them (basically saying we were lying about booking) but said she would talk to her manager then call back. A minute later my phone rings and the same lady says that they “are closed tomorrow and would be closed for the whole week” so that our reservations were canceled. I asked how that was possible since she just got off the phone with my friend (who was sitting two feet away from me) and told her they were double booked or closing early. So I asked her which was the truth and she proceeded to get hostile with me, said she would just cancel our reservation and hung up on me. We are still waiting for the call back from the manager to my friend like the lady originally promised.Don’t waste your money on the place. They will cancel on you at the last moment and be rude from the time you answer the phone. It’s not a good business practice to give a customer two distinctly different reasons for why they are cancelling that both can’t be the truth then call and give a different reason to another member of the party.
This was our first time doing any escape room, it was hard but it was a lot of fun! The woman helping us was very nice and definitely helpful. There was 4 of us and we did the Harry Potter themed room. Definitely do not have to know anything about the movies or books to do it, which is good since my parents who did it with us do not.Hopefully well get better at it!
Very fun place to challenge yourself! 10/10 would recommend
I have the pleasure of going to church with the owner of this fine establishment. She takes the same pride, integrity, consistency, and hard work that she shows each and every week at the church and injects that directly into her business. I would highly recommend this place for a friends and family trip just from the sheer strength of her character. The wonderful establishment is just the icing on the cake.
I took my company here on Thursday and the staff had a wonderful time we did all the rooms they had and Mrs G. was an awesome host. We also had Moes as catering and that was good as well. Want to have a team building meeting and host an event this is a good place. Everything went well all the rooms were fun and there were no complaints. the best room was Military of course because thats the room I did but everyone said the other rooms were great as well.
We had a blast here it was a first time for all of us bug it was a lot of fun.
A big group of us went for our team builder at work! (Cricket Wireless) So many great things to say about this place! Very clean, cool comfy environment, the room we did was so much fun (great for big groups) Military Bomb Squad! Loved it!!!! BUTTTTT let me tell you about MS.G! she was amazing, she made this experience 10 times better !!! Amazing customer service and great place!!! GO!
We went here yesterday because our favorite escape room company (Escape Artist in Greenville) was booked over. My girlfriend and I booked the 8:15 pm CSI room, knowing that it was a difficult room. I don’t have any complaints about the room itself, but I do have some complaints about other things. For one, the lady that greeted us was super rude towards us and other groups already starting their games. She was loud and constantly bothering the other people because they were having trouble with one of their challenges. We also heard and saw that the door to the control room was open so we could hear all the audio feeds for all of the rooms. The lady that took us back to our room was kind and helpful and the exact opposite of the first woman. However, it turns out that the woman who greeted us also was our game master. She was constantly talking to us throughout our game, and assuming we were asking for hints when we weren’t, and it made us feel even more rushed than we were already (I’ll get into the next). The other big complaint I have is that there is no minimum booking limit for rooms. It turns out the room that we booked was also the largest room with a party of 12 able to be in there. Unlike Escape Artist in Greenville, where the larger rooms require you to book a certain number of people, here you can book potentially even just one person in any room, and if no other people book the same time for the room, you can have one person doing the work that they expect up to 12 people to do. We didn’t realize that when we booked, and the only disclaimer is maybe one or two lines in the room description. It would be nice to have a minimum requirement for the large rooms they have.A final complaint I have is that they charge extra for everything, including pictures and snacks. Maybe Escape Artist is not the norm, since although they were more expensive than this place, they didn’t charge extra for pictures, but seeing pictures cost $5 threw us for a loop. The only upside for the prices is that tickets are cheap, $20 a person for the CSI room at least.I don’t have experience with any other escape rooms in the GSP area apart from Escape Artist like I keep mentioning, but I do not recommend this place. If you can afford it, definitely choose Escape Artist in Greenville over Escape Room Adventures.
I got the military escape room & virtual reality for my grandsons 16th birthday. He and 6 friends went and had a great time. They all said it was difficult but they had 5 minutes left & was able to escape. Would do it again. The employees were helpful and friendly. Thank you!
We had a group of six booked for a month. The night before they called to say they were cancelling our reservation because they either double booked or were closing early. They actually said both to me on the phone. They told us we couldnt have booked in the first place. I said I booked a month ago and had my confirmation. She said it didnt matter and we were getting cancelled. I asked for a manager but she wouldnt let me talk to one. She claimed she would talk to the manager and call back. Instead of doing so she proceeded to call my friend and cancel their booking (which was shared with us) but told our friends they were closed the whole day. Which was the truth? Are they double booked, closing early, or closed all day? They all cant be true.Their customer service is severely lacking. We will never visit this place again, assuming it even stays in business since I cant find a valid business filing with the State of South Carolina. We figure they got a last minute large group wanting to rent multiple rooms and started cancelling valid reservations in order to make more money
Love this place! Easy to find, super friendly staff. Took my daughter and a few friends for her 13th birthday. We played 2 games that day (one we did not escape and the other we did!). The games are challenging and require teamwork. I recommend having no more than 4 to 6 play because any more than that could get crowded and a bit chaotic. We will definitely be back.

We walked into this place not knowing what to expect being our first time going to an escape room. Once brought into the room we were wowed by the decoration of the room and music to make it really feel like you climbed into a new world adventure! We will definitely be coming back what an awesome day out!
My daughter (9yrs) and I had a great time trying to escape. Its a fun experience and I will be going back to try another escape room. Next time I will bring my son(13yr) who loves these escape games just as much as I do!
Go to Escape Artist or Breakout in downtown Greenville instead and get your money’s worth. This place was only a few dollars cheaper than both of those establishments and the quality was far lower. The puzzles did not work properly even when we solved them, and the room itself was thrown together. Even at the bare minimum, the storyline of the room was never answered or addressed upon breaking out. The room was meant for 8-15 year olds and my group of college friends found it nearly impossible due to the malfunctions of the room and puzzles themselves.(SPOILER: the story was that a fellow wizard was turned into a stone, and we were meant to break the spell. When we finished the room, nothing about this plot was addressed, and the potion we made in one the puzzles did nothing to any stone. The ending was just playing the final battle from Deathly Hollows Part 2 between Harry and Voldemort on a screen, which had nothing to do with the initial plot at all.)
Took my daughter for her 13th birthday. We had so much fun!!! We did Nightmare In Room 1220. This was our first time and will definitely go back. Staff was very friendly as well.
We did the Harry Trotter room. It was for a birthday. I will say that we had a blast but like other reviews stated it’s a little confusing where to go next after each step and they might wanna make it easier to follow especially since this room is rated for children 8-15. But besides that we had fun and that’s what’s important
So much fun! I took the family there to try the virtual reality rooms and had an absolute blast! Great rates too!
I had a great time here. This place has a welcoming environment and smells amazing( I forgot to ask what she used in there!) LOL We tried the virtual reality rooms and it was so amazing what technology can do! I’ll be back to try the escape rooms soon!
Okay, I’m gonna be here. This was the worst escape room I have ever done. From the moment we got there the employees were running back and forth. The room itself looked like the budget was 30$ and made no logical sense. We were supposed to be diffusing a bomb in a pow jail and there was a bicycle on the wall- what? Immersion was a joke because she explained 4 puzzles before our time even started, not too mention our military bomb diffusing experience was accompanied by a loud performance of Never Enough- the greatest showman, Need you Now-Lady antebellum, and top it off with some Journey-Don’t stop believing. But sadly by that time we had stopped believing. This was awful, if you wanna do an escape room that badly drive to Asheville and do either A-escape or Black Mountain Escape. They’re the best. But every escape room in Asheville is better than this one.
Was not clean. We have been to other escape rooms and they were great. I wont go back to this one as it was too frustrating, some things seemed broken and everyone just got bored with it.
Yikes! Recently did Harry Trotter due to an article we saw online making it sound like every Harry Potter fans dream.....it was most definitely not! Just some decals on the wall.....We have done other rooms at this same location, but none of them are good despite what the owner says in their responses to other reviews. He/She needs to seriously consider the way they respond.I would not recommend
This was our 1st time doing an escape room and Ms. G was so friendly, helpful, and kind. We chose the black and white room, which was a little ambitious for our 1st time, but we had a ball laughing at ourselves. It was a great experience!
This escape room adventure and virtual reality is a place where you can be with your friends in a room where clear your mind and concentrate. Its lots of fun. I love it here.
We had so much fun. We had a large group, thankfully! We needed everyone in order to break the codes! It was a blast and we were able to escape . Definitely recommend going. It was a volleyball team, team bonding. Definitely was successful on getting all the girls to work together!!
We went there and everyone was so nice and we escaped at the last second and I think everyone should come to this place its amazing 5 STARS I love this place
Booked for two rooms. Both rooms you were in a single room the whole time. Not a very creative escape room to start the experience off with. You were given three clues for each room. When you would call out for the clue you would stand there shouting for 3-5 minutes before someone would get on and scramble to figure out where you were at in the puzzle. All in all the place was extremely understaffed and you could tell the staff was just overwhelmed. We tried to be patient with the staff but at the end they knocked off a pre discussed discount because we did not show up with enough people. I understand why they did it but considering the overall bad experience would have saved them if they did not do something so petty to make a couple of extra bucks.
Super fun and great staff! Tried the Indiana Jones adventure and will go back and try another one very soon! I went with my son and we didnt quite make it out but still had a blast! Everyone should try this place out for sure!
This was my very first escape room experience! I had SO much fun. It was fun to see how everyone acts under pressure. I would recommend it and will be coming back when we return to SC.
My husband and I tried escape rooms for our first time and it was well worth it. Ms. G was a great instructor and helped us along the way whenever we got stuck. I would definitely recommend this place!! Its also bonus that its in town coming back again later with friends and families!
It was a terrific experience!!! Our youth group had a great time and employees worked through our issues! Could not have been more hospitable! 5-stars for sure!
I have had the pleasure of visiting this business on two separate occasions to try my hand at their escape rooms with my friends. On our first visit, we participated in the Adventures of Dr. Jones escape room. The room was challenging as it was only my friend and I working to escape yet it was wicked fun. The back story of this particular room was very adventurous which led us to choose it in the first place. Bonus: We did escape this room but with only a few seconds to spare! Our second experience involved the Black and White room which was suggested by Mrs. G. because of the number of participants. This room was very mysterious and although there werent as many clues to solve, the clues themselves were a bit more challenging and therefore, took more time. The setting was a mysterious one and my friend and I enjoyed it a lot. Many laughs were had as we overlooked things and ran around in circles trying to figure out the clues provided. Overall, both experiences at Escape Room Adventures & Virtual Reality in Spartanburg, S.C. have been nothing short of exceptional. Finally, I want to take just a moment to brag on the staff of this wonderful establishment. Mrs. G and her coworkers were nothing but nice to us on both of our visits. An example of their kindness was displayed when Mrs. G. recognized that I had chosen the Military Bomb Squad room but only had one friend with me to try and break out of it. Therefore, she very honestly informed me that this wasnt a good decision due to certain conditions and that I might enjoy the Black and White room much more. As you can tell from my previous paragraph, Mrs. G. was absolutely right. It is so nice to have people working in a business that truly care for their customers as well as their experiences. Thank you, Mrs. G and staff! Please know that I will be returning many more times to participate in the other four escape rooms available!
We had a great experience! Our family of 4 had never done an escape room and this was a great place to start! Ms. G was wonderful!!! Fun way to spend some family time!
We had a great time! The puzzles captured the spirit of the rooms and the staff was very helpful. Fun for older kids as well!
Wife and I did this and we really enjoyed it. We had a slow start but the girl that was running it did a great job of checking in and provided extra clues to help us move along. We did run out of time but were so close that they gave us a few more minutes to finish it out. I would do it again.
Worst escape room, save your money or choose another company. My son has recently gotten into Harry Potter, so for his birthday, we decided to do the Harry Trotter room. We were told to be there 15 minutes prior to our booked time. So, we arrived at 5:30 for our 5:45 room. The room was not ready, we waited for about 30 minutes. I felt the room should have been ready especially since no one was in the room before us. But, things do happen. It was okay because the kids were content with the activities in the waiting area.Once in the room, the lady explained directions and allowed us to get started. To begin with the employee told us we needed to have wand lights. However, apparently many had been broken by previous participants, so only 3 were available. We had 4 children with us, so you could imagine how that went over.Throughout the game, two of the clues were unable to be unlocked without the employee coming in and resetting parts of the clue. The first incident, our time was paused. The second it continued to run as she tried finding the item needed to reset the clue allowing us to continue. Imagine the frustration of our kids watching the time run as we were unable to continue. This took away much of the excitement for our kiddos.Pretty frustrating! The website also advertised a military discount. It stated to show id upon arrival. However, we were told that it didnt apply for this room.Overall, I would not recommend this place.*EditI apologize if I gave the impression that the employee was not friendly. Mrs. G was very helpful and friendly. My complaint is with the room. Two clues were not functioning and it was not the fault of our group. The employee told us a previous group had ripped something off the wall and the other she wasnt sure why it was not working. The employee did tell us a previous group had broken wands and not paid for them. Again, not our group. It was one tiny room with Harry Potter stickers on the wall. I had been in escape rooms in which it involved more than one room. Not really a Harry Potter escape room. Just a gimmick to get people there. We did not address it as we were leaving as it was later than anticipated. We drove almost two hours to get there. In addition, it was my sons birthday and it wasnt an appropriate time. I would love for management to contact. Thanks
Great family fun - even though we failed! LOL We had a blast with the family as a get together and fun time while some visiting us from out of state. Will definitely try it again.
Went with my hubby & 2 cousins. Met an awesome Lady named Mrs. G on this trip. We did the Nightmare Room and I can say if you cant think outside of the box then chances are youre probably thinking, too hard. Basically, I was the backtracking Genius and the guys were the muscle, Lol. Overall this was VERY fun. Each room is different so its truly mind-bending to go to one room then another and have to change your tactics. If you love Mysteries. Youll LOVE The Escape Room! 13+ so the kiddies can play, too! Will be coming back again for the Military next time!
Really fun anf brain wracking it was kind of hard but we eventually figured everything out with the hints that were given to us from our game master. We were even given extra time to actually solve everything due to no one else having reserved the room. It was a good overall experience my only complaint was it was a bit pricey.
We had a girls vs. guys team building event and had so much fun! The staff was so helpful and accommodating. The girls did the CSI event and the guys did Military Bomb Squad. We will definitely come back again. Thanks so much!!!
I went to this escape room with my mom and her boyfriend and was pleasantly surprised. Id never done an escape room before but my mom and her boyfriend had. Although we had a bit of a slow start, the room was very engaging and kept us on our toes. We escaped the black and white room with no hints used and 10 minutes left on the clock. All in all, it was a great experience that I would highly recommend everyone should try at least once and I will definitely be coming back for a round 2.
A great way to celebrate a birthday! Loved the Harry Trotter (Potter) theme and was definitely a challenge. Laughed a bunch and made it out with less than 3 minutes to spare!
Very disappointing! Arrived early and the building was locked- appointment was scheduled for 11:15 a.m. Had to call for service. Waited while employee opened. We attended the Harry Trotter. The instructions were poorly presented, the artifacts did not work properly, the locks didnt open, and the employee had to come in to had difficulty with the tasks. I was almost ready to stop the whole thing. I think the most disappointing thing was that the employee didnt apologize, she just stated we needed to wiggle it or pull harder- what? Was a gift and ended up with tremendous regret. Please save your money!
Me and my wife had a fun time and plan on going back to check out the other rooms.
The Escape Room was intriguing and challenging. The experience allowed us to think outside the box as we solved the clues with some help! We thoroughly enjoyed our adventure. We will be back!!:-)
Love this place! Such a fun family adventure!Nice and clean, rooms fun for the kids and the adults! Ms. G is a great host!
Mrs. G was amazing here and made our adventure amazing and fun. Amazing person and full of laughter. We will be back!
Had my sons big 13th birthday party there was not a good experience. I paid a good bit of money for his party which was party room (conference room) all paper products (which included plates that didnt match, forks and napkins) pizza, and drinks and an escape room and virtual reality room. For almost 400 dollars Im very disappointed the escape room we did which was CSI was very confusing for 8, 12 to 13 year olds not to mention small. We asked for our clue several times and never got them. The virtual reality game room was very disappointing also one of the systems didnt work and one kept freezing so between 8 boys 2 systems and only 1 hour they all did not get time to play. I feel I threw almost 400 dollars down the drain
Went for a Team building Excersise and had a blast....we failed to get out of the room in time.....better luck next time!! But it was good. Not as elaborate as others that I have been to but definetly a must do for entertainment in Spartanburg
Since i drive by it every day i try and stop in to get info since no one ever answers the phone. They are always closed. I try to stop in atleast once maybe 3 times a week, nothing. And yes I go durring posted business hours.
Horrible place!
