This past weekend here was everything. I brought my 76 yr old father to fish with me. Hes always with my brothers, but Saturday I enjoyed the beautiful landscape and the sight of my father smiling and catching fish after fish. I havent figured out what the catfish like in this lake, but the bream love crickets and worms

The park was very nice and clean. It was quiet and had an area for everyone. I enjoyed myself. Definitely a family oriented spot. Will be visiting again before i leave the state heading back to Louisiana.

The park is very well maintained and provides adequate walking trails for exercise. It is home to a wide variety of ducks and geese. They are always grateful for a free meal from park goers who frequently stop by with bread for feedings.

Beautiful property but not well taken care of by the city. Trash isnt picked up, walking bridges have holes you can put a foot through, sink holes abound, and decorative fencing is in pieces .

Best disc golf course in the Greater Memphis Area.

Love it the coolest park I have seen, it have lakes ever where, 2 parks the big kids park in the middle its very cool and it have a little kid park in the front you will missed it for sure its by the lake. It have outlets if you want to plug something up will be great for partys it also have tables you can move around golf course, go fishing with the different kind if fish and exercise equipment around the park its so cool

The disc golf course here was solid. I really enjoyed how it was not too complex and really allows you to practice some open lines.

Beautiful park with multiple lakes, walking trails, grassy areas

The park is very nice. I frequently take my labrabull puppy here for walks in the morning before the heat sets in. She loves to meet other park goers especially if they will offer her a belly rub. Some possible improvements would be a paved trail along side the paved road as many people run or walk along the road. And a fenced area for pups to run off leash as some people allow there pups to run off leash throughout the park now and that is not safe for them, other park goers, or leashed pups like mine.

We drive 30 minutes to come to this park. We love it.

Clean! I walked all over the park and around the lakes and only saw two pieces of trash. There are no garbage cans that I recall, so people are being responsible. I was curious about why several police cars went down that gravel road behind the big lake? Porta-potties for restrooms and no water fountains available are the only downside. The exercise equipment along the trail is cool. If you walk on the paved trail one lap is 1141 steps for those counting.

Great park with so much space to spread out and enjoy outside. Son loves the ducks, and fish at the ponds. Wouldnt recommend the playground itself for toddlers during busy hours, looks like a blast for the other kids though!

Beautiful park area with a fishing pond, trails, and baseball fields.

This park used to be one of the best in the area...my only complaint is the play area for kids is very outdated....Olive Branch has a great new play area for kids....3 areas; 1 for small toddlers, 1 for medium children and an area for bigger kids....plus its CLEAN and the grounds are a soft rubber texture....Southaven Central park seriously needs an update as some of the toys have been taken down but the foundations still are present and there is no area for smaller children to play. Also, there needs to be more enforcement of litter laws there as well.

Nice size, walking trails are paved, but in disrepair. Parking is a bit scarce and not paved. Plenty of trees and two lakes, but no facilities other than a few port a johns. Still a good place to walk or relax.

Great park but the lakes are poorly managed. There may have been decent fish at some point but the fishing is very poor now. The community should come together and petition the city to stock the lakes.

GREAT PLACE... FAMILY FRIENDLY .... VERY NICE PLACE WITH A VARIETY OF THINGS TO DO LIKE FISH, FEED THE DUCKS, WALKING TRAILS, EXERCISING EQUIPMENT A PLAYGROUND AND SWINGS THAT GO TO THE MOON.

Its so relaxing, with exercise equipment, and nice big areas where you can enjoy the nice cool breeze!!!

This is a beautiful park with a little bit of everything. It is clean and well kept. I believe it has something to offer everyone. And during the Christmas season it is lit up and even more beautiful.

Nice playground, hilly, paved walking trails. Disc golf is a nice course, but really long! All around great park, only real downside is they close it for several months for Christmas lights.

This park would greatly benefit if we were to invest more into it in the right direction. Heres an idea to get people out of their house while helping the community tremendously. We should offer free wifi at our public parks. With more people using the parks, obviously we will benefit from a more social environment, more event opportunities, etc. A small investment will improve our local economy in time while simultaneously making life more enjoyable for everyone.

This park is great for a little family time. There is a playground, exercise area with built in equipment, a walking/ running trail, good fishing spots but my family favorite is feeding the geese, ducks and turtles. This park also has a pretty cool drive through Christmas light display every year.

Favorite park for disc golf in Desoto county

The city needs to do a better job on up keep.

Wish they would do more to this park, say like the Olive Branch city park. Would like to see more than a walking trail, disc golf and some playground equipment. Maybe better soccer/football/baseball fields, basketball or tennis courts.

As an adult but child at heart, I love feeding the ducks there. There is also a decent size playground with a walking around it and outdoor exercise equipment. Its always been clean. Dogs welcome.
