The theatre is really cute and charming. The acting was well played. We watched Alice in Wonderland. It was okay, except I felt like it should have been a musical. The stage is nice and very close. Unfortunately, it felt a lot like community theater and not worth $22 a ticket. I think it was overpriced for what is was.

We have had the best time there. Love our season tickets! And the acting school is amazing too!

Wondeful to have such amazing theatre right here in Salt Lake. These familiar stories jump right out and make you laugh and squeal!

We’ve been going to UCT for years. It’s amazing the improvements we’ve seen and continue to see. Mix up your date night, skip the movies and head to UCT. Grab a brownie sundae at the old fashioned soda fountain for intermission.

What a gem we have in Salt Lake County. The Utah Childrens Theater puts on incredibly well done and kid friendly productions for, in my humble opinion, too good of a price. We have done a couple of season tickets and plan to do more. We dont miss a production.Oh, on top of this they dolled up the theater so much that it is an experience all by itself. The 20s decor is so awesome. It looks and feels like a place you want to be and take your family!

Wonderful to have some culture for our children close by. I bought tickets for my daughter and her mom. They said it was a great time. In her mothers words. It was cute. I am excited to see what will be next. I will for sure be coming back to see the experience.

We saw the Cat in the Hat with our granddaughters. It was very audience interactive and the kids loved it.

My little brother goes here and seems to really enjoy it. They have an advanced class too.

Lovely shows for the family! The really do put an amazing emphasis on makeup! Fantasy shows are carried out wonderfully here! Parking is okay but make sure you come early since there is no reserved seating. We did have someone take our seats during intermission but got it resolved quickly.

What a great place too bring the family. We had our three year old and his friend with us and they loved the show. It is open seating so get there early so you can sit up front.

We come with our grandchildren. The plays are great for kids. We enjoy them, too.Came to see Charlottes Web today. The story is great. The characters are fun and the actors did a great job.

Very fun shows for the whole family.

The performances are very good and the shortened run times are perfect for bringing children. We especially love their Shakespeare festival with plays, puppet shows and activities. The lobby and soda fountain have a cool art deco vibe and its fun to hang out there.

If I could give this 10 stars I would because I went there and the teachers were so funny and amazing... Would 1000% recommend.

Great place and a fun atmosphere. The only thing that was a big disappointment was the refreshments. They have the cutest drinks but ran out of most of the food options and we were third in line during intermission. I just wish they would offer popcorn and normal non fancy treats.

My kids loved the summer program. They talk about it regularly and every time we drive past they point out that they did a play there. Great staff!

Wonderful production of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Great concessions. We look forward to more shows and checking out their Shakespeare program in the Summer.

Charming theater, intimate setting, spectacular voices!

This theater was wonderful to visit. The cast and costumes were fantastic and the snacks were awesome.

It is an amazing theatre I had gotten the season pass for my birthday and it was an amazing experience I have seen the secret garden and the lion the witch and the wardrobe, Charlottes web, 20,000 leagues under the sea and lastly I just saw James and the giant peach and I loved all of them so much I have already recommended people to go see the plays because I love them and I will continue to recommended this theater.

This was a great play and the childrens theater caters well to the younger audience. They have a soda shop next door that will bring food to the theater during intermission. The play we saw was busy town and my three year old loved it. I was also entertained.

I was pleasantly surprised. We watched Robin Hood. It was an entertaining show for both young and old. The cast did a great job and the sword fighting choreography was quite impressive.

Fantastic! The best seats are on the front row side if you like the actors to interact with you. Very friendly and full of energy. My son says, they are very funny and good at gymnastics. You can order from the soda fountain shop next door to have ready for you at intermission!

Awesome theater, I was really impressed! Very clean, and theres not a bad seat in the house. My 4.5 year old son and I had a wonderful time. Great atmosphere and great performances! Everyone (kids and adults) will enjoy seeing a show here.

Excellent theatre. Great for kids age 2 - 102. Very entertaining, a fantastic facility, well written and presented shows, and a really good freshly made cream soda from their soda shop. Perfect.

They use the entire theater so creatively! Theres not a bad seat in the house. This was our second visit, and even though I dont have little children anymore I will go back! Truly enjoyable!

What a great experience for my whole family! We love going to see shows at the Utah Childrens Theatre...even my older teenage son and my husband! The shows are not ONLY for children. It is always money well spent!

Tickets are a little pricey. But I went and saw my friend in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and it was fabulous! Love that theres a drink place next door.

We have season tickets, and The Parent Trap is our all time favorite!

Can be a great experience with lots of learning opportunity or a bad one with an instructor who is trying to control unruly kids. My oldest one wants to persue acting and has greatly benefitting from the experience and my youngest is done. After 2 years of playing games like stand still and mouthful of marshmallows I cant blame her. If you have an unruly kid who cant follow instructions and needs everyones attention all the time please dont take to these classes as they will truly ruin the experience for all. UCT should also have a plan in place for those kids that screw it up for the kids that want to learn this. I want my money back for the 2 years of babysitting my kid endured when she wanted to learn acting like her big sister.

The childrens theater is one of SLC best places to spend a snow day with your kids or grand kids .
