Beachgrounds Park

I love bringing my grandchildren to this park.

Was fun and quiet

No one picks up their trash. The parents there never seem to watch their kid so I always have a kid following me around asking me to push them on the swing why mom is FaceTimeing someone not paying a single mind to their child

Great park with playground, sprinkler water park for the kids, baseball and softball fields! Good for them hot summer days and outdoor activities. Right by the Connecticut river in South Hadley.

It is a nice playground. Very colorful. The kids did not care too much for the larger play scape. There is nothing to run or slide on. Also if you have LATEX ALERGY, it has recycled shredded tires for the ground area.

I had not ever visited and lived in S. Hadley for just over a year... it looks like there is a nice place where children hang out over in South Hadley Falls.. Im gonna go back because of the waterfront and all the lovely grass across this Park area.

Wonderful park with great views of the river and plenty of places to fish. The playground is basic but is entertaining. The swings are extremely loud and annoying and barley work. Bathrooms are not always clean and not always open. There are tables for eating, for having a picnic. great clean well kept fields as well

I AGREE WITH MELISSA BOISVERT 100%!!! I was there that same day with my son. The baseball field is way too close to the childrens playground and spray park with NO fence! Like I said I was there that same day. I witnessed two foul balls fly over and almost hit two different kids. One child which was my niece. We called the Parks and Rec just to inform them about the safety of this issue. They are beyond RUDE!!! Another thing this park is dirty anyways. Tons of adults drinking alcohol beverages around kids and broken glass scattered. I do not recommend this park. Zero stars if I could rate it zero.

Its a nice park. But I visited this park with my daughter and nephew on a day they had a baseball game which is very extremely dangerous for all the young children playing and enjoying their summer. My daughter almost got hit in the back of the head by a baseball (an inch away from her head) that went flying through the spray park and then bounced off the cement into the play area with slides. Apparently thats not the first time that happened according to another parent that was there. Other parents there agreed there should be a taller fence blocking foul balls from entering the area. I called the parks and recs and the man I spoke to was very snotty and said this is real life things like that happen. Well when you have a big lawsuit for a toddler or baby getting injured by a foul baseball that will be your problem not mine. On that day there was tons of mothers with infants and toddlers. If a young child got hit with that fast foul ball it would of not been a good outcome. The guy told me to not to visit the park anymore then and I will certainly not be.

Such a nice park! There is something for everyone here. And the river is just down the hill.

It is a very nice park with lots of space for kids to run around, and do different activities. The only negative is when people bring their filthy, flea infested mongrels to roam the park at their leisure. Pick up after your damn dogs people, or take them elsewhere.

Great little playground for the wee ones! Just keep an eye on em! My granddaughter got bit, and not by an animal!

This place is No Good for cargoven drivers.No parking after 2 hours stay.Unwelcome place.

The area is safe for kids & a fun place to be to experience the surroundings.

I grew up around this park,It is very beautiful! Just a shame that there is trash all over the place..... Come on People! Everyone SEEMS to WANT TO have a better MOTHER EARTH to HABITATE?!?! BUT YET NO ONE CAN PICK UP AFTER THEMSELVES.... Come on people stop coming to this beautiful park that I grew up in and TURNING IT INTO A DUMP!.. I PICKED UPTRASH FOR A GOOD HOUR HERE AND BARELY DENTED THE LOOSE TRASH....DO YOUR PART TO HELP OR STOP COMPLAINING! PERIOD! IF THIS DOESNT PERTAIN TO YOU THAN I APOLOGIZE FOR THE RANT! If this is you leaving trash behind please stop! There is trash cans all over the place! If you want to ruin parks do it in your city!

Great place to watch our son play baseball. A couple really good fields plus access great fishing on the river... Awesome rubberized ground Park for the kids to play with. Plenty of parking both on street and in the back of the park nice all-around Family Fun Time plus they added a nice little Water Park area for the kids.

Its a really beautiful and well maintained park

I grew up going here and I now take my son here in the summer. I love how they upgraded the park and made it as safe as possible. My son is in kindergarten and at his playground there is woodchips and he fell and face planted in the woodchips. His whole face was scratched so bad he looked like he was bit and has a nasty reaction the way it was spread on his face. My brother actually did this park renovation and they shredded old tires and cut them up for the playground.

Good place to take the kids they have a splash pad and a few playgrounds for all ages.

Great place, great neighborhood everyone is friendly. Just be mindful of your neighbors and help keep park clean for everyone to enjoy..

Great space for recreational activities for adults and children

I would give this a 5 star rating but due to the lack of an official or employee and also very bad parenting I dont see the park being open long. Especially the splash park area. Today I observed atleast 4 families that were allowing thier children to clog the drain with the rubber pieces from the swing set area. This was causing the area to flood and the equipment to not work properly. Upon further viewing I also found that they were all consuming alcoholic beverages and smoking. I feel if thier was an official or some kind of employee of the park there it would stop the mis behaving children and thier parents and the park would then last for future generations to enjoy.

Awesome place for kids to hang out! I wish the bathroom was bigger and had a changing table, but our family loved it!!! We will be back!!!

Great spot for friends and family to meet, mingle, and enjoy fun in the sun. Right near the beautiful Massachusetts portion of the Connecticut river! Beautiful view of the city of Holyoke too! Be sure to check out the South Hadley Falls fest there in Late July!

When the weather gets warm the tire chunk park smells like oil... Cant be healthy to breath imo
