Fun place and a good vibe. Only concern is the clientele sometimes seems shady AFReply: I witnessed the bartender kicking out a shady person who wouldnt comply with simple COVID rules... And Ive been judged for having zero tatts! BTW will BF beer specials be available next Wednesday?

I really like the environment they have the vBest eggrolls and beer glasses I highly recommend if you are up for some refreshing drinks and costumer service was great I love my eggrolls I didn’t have chance to take a pictures they were so good but everything was great.

Absolutely love the food and service. Always have a blast at Stanleys between Karaoke and coming to watch the Bears game. Robyn always makes sure we are taken care of and we never have to wait long on our food and it’s always hot and fresh. Thanks guys for being so awesome :)

We hosted my son’s baptism at Stanley’s and it was wonderful! Dawn the owner was very accommodating and went out of her way to make sure everything went smoothly. The server made sure everyone’s drinks were full! My guests raved about how tasty all of the food was! We will for sure be hosting more family events at Stanley’s!

Its wonderful to be able to sit down and enjoy a meal in your restaurant after these many months of COVID restrictions. We finally were able to try and enjoy your Cloud Burger. Very good, indeed! We sat at the bar, and service was excellent! Sat on patio, safe distance, had apps and meals, they were liked by family!

We ordered the broasted chicken for dinner tonight! It was crispy and juicy as always. It was delicious and it was carry out (sometimes food does not do well as carry out) and a 20 minute drive home. You cannot beat this chicken for the price, quality, and quantity. Highly recommend. great

Staff was great and accommodating. Food was very good. We had wings and a rueben. The burgers are great too. Tots were nice and crispy! Have been here a couple times and have yet to be disappointed.

My wife and I just started going here, even though we live right down the street. Beer prices are reasonable, the food is great and the servers are always friendly and attentive.

Easily the most impressive curb side pick up during this pandemic. You order online, pay online, tip online, arrive in a designated curb side pick up stop. Text them your name and parking space number and they will bring out your food.We enjoyed the food. My burger was good with tater tots. My wife really enjoyed the fried chicken. 2nd time we have done curb side with them during this strange time.

Enjoy the Friday fish fry, good service and good food. Played a few video slots. Love having Stanleys in the South Elgin neighborhood.

We had carry out for the family of 4 Saturday Night and the food was just as good as in the restaurant. It was easy to order on line, it was ready on time and safe curb side pick up. You can not beat the price service and taste. Even the Red Neck Rolls tasted as fresh after a 30 minute drive home. We will be back for the curb side meals and hope to get back inside to enjoy the staff and people.

Great place to go before the stay at home order very friendly staff. We just ordered curb side and it is still delicious! Im very happy with the safety measures made. I just cant wait for them to open again!

Place was a ghost town on a Sunday evening. Food was ok, but the waiter messed up our order even though we ordered the same exact thing. We were the only people(party of 2) in there aside from the 2 gentleman at the bar. Although apologetic, he still wasnt very attentive. Honestly dont think the experience or the food was good enough to make us want to go back.

This place is my number one restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to this restaurant. when I feel like having a superb supper, this place comes straight to my head. We love our server. We usually get Robin. Shes very nice, has a great personality and shes always very friendly and funny. Customer service is huge for me, so she always gets above 20%. Once we went, our food wasnt very desirable (no fault of theirs, user error). Dawn gave us $5 cards for next time!!

If you are looking for a comfortable place with an extensive and interesting beer menu, with an incredible burger menu, this is your spot. Kids menu, so good for families too. We were skeptical when we pulled up, but well be back regularly to try everything!

Stanleys curb side service is very well organized and got my food brought to my car in the rain with a smile. The ribs were wonderful. Thank you for keeping us fed.

Came in late Sunday night for a drink with two friends. Wanted a chill atmosphere to relax in. The server, Robin, was fantastic. She was very friendly and helpful. The selection of drinks was vast and the deals were great. We all had a wonderful time. Love Stanleys, will return again.

We eat at Stanleys every few weeks and really enjoy the meals. We like to go on Mondays when it is less busy. The staff all know us, and we always get good service, along with great food. Our next trip there will be soon.

The burgers are always good and theyre what we order nearly every time. I like the option of getting broccoli instead of fries, my husband really likes the beer selection. When the weather is nice we enjoy the patio. Really friendly staff! We also booked the party area in front for our daughters 21s birthday which was fantastic!

Patio seating was great since I still don’t feel comfortable about eating inside during COVID-19. Sitting outside made be feel a little more normal during this time. Music Bingo was fun and our service was fantastic, looking forward to returning in the coming weeks

I tried the Juicy Lucy burger and it was perfect! It had cheese overflowing with every bite and the burger was cooked to perfection. My dad really enjoyed the broasted chicken, which he always gets and the Bloody Marys were spot on and delicious!

Great Italian sub. $ 5.00 on Tuesdays and that Clydes fries. A big sandwich. Their curbside pick up works great.

I received a mailer for my birthday for $8 off my bill, so I used it. I used to come more often when you had the OTB, so its been a while. I sat at the bar. The lady who waited on me has worked there a long time, dont know her name, but she was very nice and gave great service. I ordered a pizza w/ double sausage and extra cheese. It was very good, but I was disappointed that there was not more sausage than there was. Everything else was good. Enjoyed the Alaskan Amber!

This is absolutely the BEST pizza Ive had. We visited Chicago from Los Angeles for vacation. We ate Lou Malnattis but Ach-N-Lous beats them by a mile. Fresh ingredients and quality product. This was the highlight of my trip. I recommend to anyone.

Stopping in after a long day, this place was a wonderful choice for dinner! Good food, good cocktails, and a nice rotating beer selection is just the start. The staff was nice and welcoming. The atmosphere was clean and quiet. And they have a lot to do, with slots, pool, pinball, bubble hockey, etc. Add to that their loyalty program and you know Ill be back.

Its a pretty cool place, so far pretty laid back atmosphere and drinks were good. They have 2 pool tables and a collection of other games including darts. My only gripe is that the music doesnt work well in the game room it seems to cut off or stop playing songs for a good 15 minutes then will randomly play a song again. Food is good here too. They have an event room for parties too which is pretty nice to have. Nice outdoor area and a slots section for those that like to gamble.

This was my first visit here. They were a little understaffed but they made up for it with service and quality. Blair took great care of us. I had the beef dip sandwich which was fantastic and the fries were delicious as well. My wife had the broasted chicken and couldnt have asked for anything better. The beer selection topped of the evening. 5 Stars and recommended!!

I understand that you have a somewhat limited menu at this time, but you really should have a vegetarian/vegan option on the menu for sandwiches. The only thing I could order, as a vegan, as a meal was a salad. I was very disappointed there was not a meat substitute available.In addition, you basically have a full menu of your burgers. You could easily offer the revolution burger with the prepackaged waffles. Someone that was with me was extremely disappointed that that was not available.On the positive side, everything my group ordered was delicious and satisfying. We had the giant family pretzel and it was DELICIOUS!!!! And as a vegan, I did indulge even knowing there was butter on it, along with just a dip or two of the cheese! YUM!!!

Its been years since Ive come in but theyve changed things around. Love the atmosphere and they have great food options. The bar is very classy! Almost too classy for south Elgin but the servers are down to earth and very nice. Food is amazing, gotta try the fried pickles!

Came in a little after 7 on a Saturday night and no one was seated in any of the dining sections, just people at the bar.Sat down in clear view of the staff that was tending to bar and tried a few times to wave someone down after having already been seated for at least 10 minutes trying to get drinks or menus.We were in plain view of the staff and made multiple attempts to get their attention so getting up and having to hunt someone down to come give you menus or get you drinks is not something that you should have to do at a resteraunt.Left after sitting down and trying to flag down wait staff but was ignored in a nearly empty bar at 7 on a Saturday.The owner must be paying their friends and family to leave reviews for this place because I cant believe that anything they would serve here would even suitable for the river rat trash in South Elgin if the place was dead on a Saturday.

Having never been beyond the gates of ECC I was so happy to visit Stanleys on trivia night. The trivia was themed to 90s... too much fun.We started with pretzels and cheese curds. Pretzels was warm and delicious.... and buttery!!! Made my beer taste so much better Cheese curds had a cornbready crunch crust. Yum city!!!I never had broasted chicken so I HAD to try it. Moist, pull off the bone, steam. Wow. What a flavor!! They got their chicken down. The cole slaw was great! Cant beat a great cole slaw.Hubby ordered a deep fried burger. He loved it. Such a good flavor and juicy. Sister ordered a shrimp wrap. It was spicy for the first bite but man.... a great combo of flavors.We ended with a sugar waffle!!! WTH! Oh my. This sugar waffle was so good. I was so upset I had to share!!! Deliciousness. Sweet!!! Oh my!The beer options were expansive. our server had great recommendations and they hit my soul. So good!Thank you Robyn for showing us the ropes. Your recommendations were spot on! I loved the restaurant and cant wait to return!

Stanleys the beer choices are very good. Food is good for a bar. Specials and prices are excellent for a neighborhood bar.

Only had one waitresses in the karaoke room for a birthday party. And she ran her self ragged she was very sweet.

Robin was a wonderful waitress! I ordered the shrimp tacos - pretty good! My boyfriend ordered the bourbon burger which he said was super juicy. His mom ordered the special of the day, the broasted chicken and said it was AMAZING! All the food came out quickly and hot. Would definitely come again. Their rewards program is great for a free meal on your birthday and anniversary with your partner. Oh and they gave us gum with the check, YUM!!

We have been a part of the Stanley Family Lets just say a VERY long time. My Husbands favorite is broasted chicken, anytime we come in. Mine is the Left Handed Milk Stout. What? Thats not substance! Okay fine, but there is not just one. Come on in and find your own favorites.

Stanley’s is a great place to come for any occasion. With Blair and Mustang Matt, they make it my favorite place to go (Even if it’s just for lunch). I’ve had every party here for friends, work event, or even just for myself, and everytime anyone who’s never been here talks about what a great time they’ve had. The staff alone brings me back and is the most welcoming. Definitely recommend for any occasion or just to even come out for great food and drinks.

Good nice quiet place when I went with a friend. Almost all there IPAs were gone kinda bummer but with other sections of beer I found a good one. I would recommend

The food just wasnt as good as I had my hopes for. The chicken wings are pretty greasy and dont have that much flavor. In addition, signature drinks on the menu arent anything special. I ordered the Moscow Mule and it came in a glass with just vodka and ginger beer, no special touches and no copper mug. On the other hand, the French fries are top notch and the half off appetizers are a good deal on a Saturday night, but not so great that I would be drawn back to this restaurant.

Stopped here for burgers. We tried the Grandpa Barns, the Juicy Lucy, and the Texan - all were delicious but I think the Texan was my favorite. Fries and onion rings were tasty. The only strange bit was that they put ice in the orange juice, but was still fine! Waitress was nice and accommodating to the small child in our group. They have booster seats too. Highly recommend this place!

Good food, reasonable prices

Went there on a Saturday night for dinner. Had the Reuben sandwich was spot on. Wife had the rib special, the meat just fell off the bones. Also great drink specials. After dinner played some slot machines they have there. Won enough money to cover our dinner...Winner winner chicken dinner. Lol
