My son’s birthday party was a blast!!! The lazer tag place we reserved for the party closed its doors without notice. We showed up for the party and found out. At the last minute the Kitchen skate park took us in and created a space for us to set up the party! They were so accommodating and catered to our needs!!! Thank you so so much!

They should be given this building instead of being forced to pay ridiculous amounts in rent. This place keeps so many kids off the streets and has a bunch of positive mentorships here that will stay with someone for there whole like the youth needs more places like this. It was my first time here today and i can see the influence it has on the kids !!!!!

Really cool place. I dont know a lot about BMX ramps but i went to a competition here and spectated and its amazing. They have kids as young as 7 competing and people as old as 20. It was fun. They have a consession stand. Cash only i believe.

I absolutely love the kitchen skatepark

Very friendly staff. It was raining when we showed up, and our bikes were wet from being on the rack. They brought us towles to dry them off before we were even signed in. The park is awesome. The ramps are big with smooth transition. The other people at the park were friendly, and helpful. Im glad I took a road trip out there.

This place is super fun! This man helped me get over my fear of a big ramp!! He was super nice! Remember everybody you see here started off like you that goes to the new people to bmx

This is a full blown indoor BMX skate park facility, great for all skill levels of bmx, scooter and skate! U was blown away by how big a facility.

Amazing park for improving your skills: great box jumps, foam pit, resi, quarter pipes, street section. Everything you can imagine in one place and in great condition! If you going there to ride, you wont be disappointed. Definitely the best indoor park Ive seen in my life!

Very nice indoor Skatepark thats very parent friendly and safe for my Son, definitely recommend!☆☆UPDATE☆☆ The Kitchen Skatepark very unfortunately, had to shut down recently due to the Corona epidemic & wasnt able to stay open any longer.My whole family & myself are very sad they had to close. Its a huge loss for our community, although we totally understand why they had to shut down.

Very nice staff and very nice park. Lots of ramps and had a great time. One older guy that worked there was super helpful and very friendly. Will definately be back very soon, well worth the money to ride such a great park. The only thing i would change is they need a full bike shop inside. Pro shop was a little slim

If you skate. Skatenight is awesome, if heat is turned one. (This is a winter thing by the way).They do not maintain ramps! If you skate its very limited and getting due to the condition of the ramps.They sometimes host events that close off parts of the park, but they dont tell you part of the park is closed off. And they will not refund your money.Brett and his dad can be very RUDE. I was asked to make a 3 d model for a new park design, revised it and was not even thankedGood luck keeping the doors open another year.

My 5 & 12 year old loved this place. Only one issue rule number 8 on their rule board is no profanity but the F bomb was getting dropped all the time by the music playing. I talked to a staff member and it was resolved. Hopefully Permanently

The ramps have not been maintained in years. Literally holes in ramps not touched in years. Not safe in areas.. The staff (Brett) told me heat doesnt get turned on in the winter unless enough people show up.. isnt that illegal? Ive tried to like this place for years but it is just deteriorating. This park has been the only indoor park in South Bend so its my closest winter option. However I would rather drive two hours to the closest next indoor park around here now.. I hope this place can turn it around

One of the best Skateparks you will ever ride. This place is truly amazing. The ramps are massive and very smooth. You will progress more in one session at this park than you would in 3 months of riding. It gets you comfortable with going fast and blasting quarters without being scared to get hurt. Love this skatepark

This is my favorite indoor bmx park, they had a great variety of street and a huge park spot I had a great time with me and my friends

Ive been there 4 times and every time I go I feel like I learn something new! The staff is good and one of them helped me learn 360s constantly encouraging me. Great place to go I highly recommend this skatepark.

So very disappointed in how I was treated on Sunday when traveling an hour to take my boys to The Kitchen. We have been going there for a couple years now. We had one boy who had not been there, we had his mother fill out the proper paper work that we have ALWAYS filled out. When first going to The Kitchen, I even asked if notary needed to be filled out I have taken many other boys other then my son there and NEVER had to have any type of Notary sign. Brett, the owner, was the one who helped us Sunday, cussing at me while my boys were standing there, would not let us in because of this so called new rule, to us, that we have never been told. I read that there is still a GoFundMe on their Facebook page. Wouldnt you think the customers would be treated with most respect?? I since Facebook messaged The Kitchen, not knowing Brett would be the one answering my questions. He AGAIN, cussed me out. I have this whole conversation saved, will post it soon and also turning him into Facebook. Anyone else who might read this, and has to do with The Kitchen, I would appreciate some kind of explanation . I am not upset about rules and regulations, I am upset of how I am being treated by BRETT!

Amazing park ran by an amazing family, One of the Best Parks and a favorite of both of my boys, we travel 2hrs + just to ride there. My boys lost their dad at a very young age and it was the sport of BMX, and scootering that helped give them the push and drive to be positive again. They encourage others, teach others, its a sport they love. Much more recognition and support needs to be given to these parks, most whom are struggling to be kept open. These parks provide so much to the kids who ride there, and these parks are a positive influence on the kids, kids who dont do the traditional sports, but have a need that only these parks provide. These kids learn patience, teamwork, and so much more. If you are a parent who has a kids who enjoys riding, Loves the sport of inline skating, skateboarding, scootering or bmx then you know how important these parks mean to these kids. If you dont have kids who ride them, just know its a need, a need, that needs support, dont let the graffiti, the past negativity about these sports influence you.
