The movie we saw was wonderful, the Theater appears not to have had any renovations or maintenance since it was built. Out of 12 bathroom stalls the womens restroom 9 of them were Out Of Order and several of the sinks didnt work. It seems like that would be a health care violation. Nothing in the building seems like its had any maintenance done on it.

The screen and sound quality is great. The fabric seats in the theater were filthy and had stains on each one. Cleanliness minus 2 stars.

Took a chance going back for first time since February. Wont go back again until COVID is under control. Audience not wearing masks and changed from assigned seats to sit too close.

AMC South Bend 16 is by far the BEST cinema I have been to and experience! I can confirm its better than Cinemark 14 in almost every way. Tickets are really cheap here, and so are concessions. (kind of) Ive been to small time cinemas who charge more for popcorn and drinks than AMC. AMC have varieties of sizes for popcorn and drinks, with optional things to add to the popcorn. You can add as much butter as you want for free, and a HUGE variety of drinks, as they have the touch screen coke machines, with all coke products, and all flavors available in the States. The Stadium Seating is incredible, really gives you an awesome feel, especially in 3D! Staff here are amazing, professional, and very friendly. They are always up to date on movie releases, even premiering movies a night or two before release date, which is always fun to see a movie before anyone else has. Such a great experience, I would recommend seeing big time movies at this location. (Like Endgame or Rise of Skywalker like movies) If you wanna see a movie, hit up AMC South Bend 16, as it is an amazing experience!

We are visiting the area for the holidays, the movie prices here are way better than where Im from. The concessions are typical, though the popcorn was especially good this visit. The bathrooms were not in the cleanest state. The seats are not anything special (vs reclining seats) but they werent uncomfortable either- though my extremely small 3 year old had issues seeing the screen. They graciously gave him a booster seat and that settled the issue. All in all, not a very luxurious experience however it was still a fun time with family.

This is my first time at this location. I have been to AMC Theaters and generally speaking the condition of the theaters are better than Regal Cinemas. Today the auditorium I was in did not have a fully functioning audio system. The speakers behind the screen seem to be functioning but only the first two pair of speakers on either side of the auditorium from the screen to the back or functioning. I do realize that equipment fails. As consumers we should expect the owners of all movie theaters to properly maintain every aspect of their environments. We are paying for the theater experience so why shouldnt we get every bit of what were paying for?

Normally, this place is 4 stars. It would get 5 if the concessions were even reasonably priced. However, today, the theatre I was in was filthy with popcorn on many of the seats as well as the floor. Ill go back. Normally, a great movie experience.

Love this place. Affordable, which is great because if its a choice between price and fancy seats, Ill take price. My little grandkids dont need fancy seats and I dont need high prices. Enough said.

My family and I went to see Frozen II, we all enjoyed the movie it was just as good as the first one. The atmosphere is quite spacious so you have room to move around in the theater if you need to get up during the movie to get what ever you need or to do. The theater wasnt busy or crowded so thats always a plus.

We love this theater we just wish it wasnt so expensive! Never ever ever have we had the problem of a movie being sold out. Not even for Marvel releases.

The showing of Weathering With You only had 4 times available, and the issue was that the screen was terrible! Lines went right through the middle of the screen, as if it were scratched. I would have requested a refund and seen it in a different room or at a different time but that was it for that movie and I wanted to see it. Fix your screen!!! Its literally what people are paying for, a giant screen to watch movies on! On a side note that movie was fantastic. Id probably go to this theater again since its cheaper than other places, but I wont see another movie in theater 1. Ive been there many times and never had that issue before.

Great place to go see a movie. Although was very surprised when a new movie was coming out that there was only 12 of us in the theater. Could be a little bit from the sassynes of the a workers. I do enjoy going here and I hope that they can survive.

If you live in Granger/Mishawaka, this is a quality alternative to Movies 14 on Edison, if you dont mind the extra drive to the South side of town. Good, comfortable theater, and much less expensive because its an old fashioned standard theater unlike the reclined lounge seating in Edison. But personally, most times, we actually prefer regular seats, so why pay the higher price at Movies 14? AMC SB 16 has the latest movies, and you can buy the tickets online and now, more recently, you can select your seats. Relatively new too, and perfectly modern. Good place to see a movie on Saturday night.

I love stadium seating and reserved seating, but not when my seat looks like this. This place is filthy. You should be paying ME to sit here. Sticky floors everywhere are equally appealing.

Just seen a 2-1/2 hr. Movie never again at this place. The seats are the worst, couldnt have been more uncomfortable for long term seating. You would think this place would have better seating. Better off going to Cinemark Movies 14.

Pretty terrible theater. Lobby was filled with smoke when we arrived from and after we saw our movie, burnt popcorn Im guessing. Popcorn was the worst Ive ever had at a theater. No ice in the pop machine.. theater looks the same as when I went as a kid 20 years ago. Also theater smelt like dirty carpet. Go to wonderland theater in Niles. 100 times cheaper and they invest in the theater yearly.

Its waaayyyyy too damn cold in here plus the floor is always sticky. -_- BUT their prices r great, the manager took care of a situation that happened quickly and was great to work with. And we love the pre showings which can really save u of having to deal with a crowd!

Not necessarily the nicest movie theater Ive ever been to, but by no means is it unclean, and you wont be disappointed coming here. Food is pretty expensive, but thats standard at a theater. Seats are reasonably comfortable. Ive always had a very good time coming here with friends!

I didnt like having to choose my seat... didnt get to sit next to my group. But the seats were comfy and the theatre was arranged nicely.

I understand they make there money on food and drinks but dang $23 for two pops and a popcorn. The theater is nice and clean though.

They are not allowing refills of.any product.

Comfortable seats that you can select in advance. Lots of food options. There is even a bar. I took advantage of the low prices on Tuesday.

So dumb, to have a curfew @9. To be able to watch frozen. Like? An 18 year old should be enough to take a minor into the movies to be able to watch the movie frozen.

Everything was great. Im a sound person and the new Dolby was incredible. The screen was big and bright. We saw John wick 3 and this theater added to the experience. Im so glad I saw that movie here! I rarely hand out a 5 star.

Easy to get to; ample parking but I would like to see them upgrade this movie theater...I think it needs refreshing.

This place is showing its age. Tattered seats, stained carpeting, and unclean restrooms. Picture and sound quality is ok.

With the ease of online tickets, AMC stubs premiere access lines, this is by far the easiest, quickest, and best experience I have had. With assigned seats you no longer have to worry if your family will get seats together. The only complaint I have is they only had one soda fountain working on one of the sides. They shouldve put an out of order sign on it. I hope they fix it soon. Staff was courteous and cordial. This theater has stadium seating, no luxury loungers. This theater is an AMC classic so dont expect a lot of extra frills. I do recommend this theater for a family on a budget especially during the day.

Its okay not the cleanest Amc theater I seen. I do enjoy its big screen just wished they would update the theater a little more.

The movies are cheaper here. If I want to see two, it’s worth the gas to drive from Michigan City to see a couple, plus they have a bar which is nice when they have someone who knows how to make a drink...or what bourbon is. I took it in good humor though and all was good.

The people here were very racist, they came in here in the middle of the movie and were talking to us loudly and be disrespectful. btw were black and they are white obvi. She told us the officer would take us if we didn’t leave . btw they didn’t let us finish our movie bc our mom wasn’t in there but were 14 and the movie was pg-13 smh . They removed us from the theater and told us to stand behind the board . And the white racist lady was still talking bad and disrespectful things about us . I would never ever come here again !

This is an older theater but still in good condition. The seats do not recline but are comfortable. You get good value for your money. Matinee tickets were just under $5.00 which is better than the senior price. But in spite of prices lower than other theaters, the movie experience is still good. The picture and sound were good quality. We will go again.

Prices for tickets are competitive. Misleading info regarding new seating. Concessions are offered at outrageous prices compared to the other theater in the area. Popcorn is yummy. Improve your seating situation and maybe Ill consider coming back.

Fair priced theatre. Not as nice as the one with reclining seats but it is a decent place. There is a bar that you can order drinks from on your way in. Kind of high priced but tasty.

Nice theater with some of the best ticket and popcorn/snack/drink prices around. Would have given 4 stars, but the movie showtime (Yesterday) said 7:15. The movie didnt start until 7:40. I dont mind a couple previews, but 25 minutes worth is ridiculous.

Bathrooms are always disgusting. The mens floor is always sticky each time I go. My wife says womens smell like pee and tonight blood was on sink. Try to use bathroom elsewhere before you come. If not for the prices and good location we would never come back.

Food is PRICEY!! A regular Carmel popcorn was like 9 dollars!About the same price for our two tickets. And while were on tickets, they were suppeeerrr cheap!And the movie was awesome! Sound was great.Side note: this usually bothers me but not everyone, but they have great quality toilet paper there! 20/10 did recommend.

Its a nice theater that I used to love going to as a kid, but they are completely behind the times. Even if you buy tickets online they make you stand in a line no matter how long it is. That completely defeats the purpose of buying them online. We showed up on time for a movie that we bought tickets online for and now will miss the first chunk because a popular kids movie is out today and we have to stand in line behind several people who may or may not have bought their tickets online. There are several easy ways to streamline this process and its a shame for such a nice theater to refuse to accommodate people who buy their tickets ahead of time and often pay surcharges to do so.

If you can go to Movies 14, they have better seats. AMC 16 has better snacks and sells alcoholic beverages.

Ive gone here a ton of times since they opened when I was a kid. Ive never had a bad experience. Customer service is great. Stadium seating is wonderful. The acoustics of the individual theatres are excellent. Food is outrageously expensive though. If you spend almost $20 on a couple tickets, expect to spend almost twice that, if not more on food and beverages for two.

Movie, sound and staff was great, however..the theater smelled like an old gym bag as soon as we pulled on the first set of doors and wouldnt go away the entirety of the movie. Oh, and the popcorn was stale. (First time for that ever here.)I usually have a great experience.

Was treated with the upmost respect as I would expect from a great movie place. The seats were very comfy as I almost fell asleep. Great place for the kiddos as well as adults. Bathrooms were clean and snacks were spot on. Need abetter selection of popcorn toppings tho.still would reccomend going here.

I love AMC. That being said, the company needs to invest in this property. Almost every time I walk into the bathroom, it looks like a war zone from a zombie movie. Overall, a good remodel and an attentive management staff could make this place better.

It is an okay movie theater. There is nothing fancy about it, but it is clean. However, they should update their seats with leather (cloth seats are unsanitary). In addition, although the movie tickets are reasonably priced the items in the concession are way over priced.

Went to see Jumanji, but the theater was very cold and one of the speakers was broken, so it constantly had a loud rattle. Very annoying. Got a refund and left. Told them about the issues and they just dismiss it. Dont care about anything but taking your money.

Pop is so expensive. They new to get bigger seats! I recommend the seats that the mishawaka one has.

My family went to enjoy a movie tonight and as we were seated a employee was marking off the row behind us. We asked what was going on and he said he wasn’t able to say. We insisted and he said that people had complained of bugs.... we spoke with someone else and were told water damage (there was no evidence of damage) we spoke with the manager and he stated that they had a pest problem.....he was very RUDE

We love coming to see movies here, they have cheap tickets, and a lot of food options. The seats are comfortable, but the bathrooms are kind of a mess most of the time.

Theatre is a little run down but clean for the most part. The police presence in parking lot made me feel safer about a sketchy area...cannot beat the ticket pricing! Tip: bring your own snacks $$ . I thought the movie and sound quality was better than the other theatres in area.

A very clean cinema. It is in a part of South Bend that has turned into a nice retail area. I dont like the assigned seating but I guess they are following a trend.

Theater was pretty dirty, unfortunately. I expected higher quality since this is the most up to date cinema in the area. Many of the seats were torn and the staff barely made an effort to clean anything after the previous movie when I was there. Candy and spilled drinks all over the floors and seats... I moved a couple times to different rows to avoid getting soda all over my jacket. The bathrooms were completely disgusting... Urine all over the floors of the mens bathroom. It looked like no one ever really cleaned or maintained the restrooms, honestly. The sinks and toilets chrome piping was turning green from oxidation— all in all, the cleanliness of the theater made the entire experience a lot less than desirable... Otherwise the movie audio and video was very good.

This theater has good service with quick lines so you can get to your movie quickly.

This was my first time going to this theater and will be my last. I went with my husband to see Avengers Endgame. When I entered the doors, there was a line of at least 15 people ahead of me. There was only ONE person to sell/print tickets. I asked her if there was a quicker way for my husband to get in since we had prepaid online for our tickets, she said no. We had to stand in line and wait while customers purchased theirs. I asked her if she could please have someone open up another register, she said no one else was available to do so. As I was waiting in the line, I noticed another smaller line start to form, I asked about the smaller line and the lady said that those people were movie club members, the lady at her discretion, started letting those people in front of the long line I was standing in to help them. Also while I was waiting in the line, I saw another crew member go by the register, no clue what she was doing, but I do know she didnt open up for a good 10 minutes even though the line was long.I have several issues here, I will list below:1) When a major movie comes out and its still the first week, have more than one crew member scanning tickets.2) There is no benefit to buying tickets ahead of time at your theater because their is no self-service kiosk or a line for only prepaid. You need at least one of those.3) There should be a separate crew member to help Movie club members so the already long lines dont take that much longer.4) Crew members should be made more aware of long lines and have a quicker way to open registers.5) You should have assigned seating so people who prepay are guaranteed good seating.

Bought the new bucket for the year. Had last years with us so we were able to split the popcorn. So we werent both reaching in at the same time. Awesome. Plus Stubbs got us large refillable drinks for the price of regular size.

Extremely expensive on snacks and drinks! Terrible seating! The seats are all worn out and the theater stank. Bathrooms half the urinals were broken.

I’ve been coming here for years my only issue has been that the ushers don’t peek in and make sure everyone is being quiet. Now, they make you choose your seats before entering the theater. What’s the point of this? It’s not going to help business at all and what if someone is talking? Now you can’t just get up and move. They should have just left it alone.

$22 for a Lg popcorn 2 lg drinks. And you dont get a free refill. Upside is large theaters with plenty of seating options.

After my AWFUL experience at Goshen Linway Cinema this theatre is a 5+ star. Comfortable seating, prepaid tickets online/picking our seats, and relatively clean (not sure how often they clean but guests left it a mess after our showing was over). Bathroom was pretty clean as well. They also have a nice little mini bar area and you can take drinks into the showroom. Temperature in the room was perfect. I am glad we changed our showing from 9 to 8:30 since the movie didn’t start until almost 9 (commercials). I’d like to try Movies 14 in Mishawaka next with their comfy leather recliners but would definitely come here again!$12 something for a icee & box of milk duds. A bottle of coors light was $5 something with tax. Pretty average pricing to me.

Good service and reasonable prices

Went to see the movie John wick 3 Parabellum. Only one cashier out of three working, fast service at the concession stand but the snacks were outrageously overpriced at $8 for a large soda that probably cost them less than 10¢. Paid $31 for a large popcorn and nachos and two drinks. The theater had a stale smell. no. They need to do a thorough cleaning throughout the whole Theater.

Its a nice place to see a movie on the south side of south bend, if you go early its cheap to get in, but concessions are very expensive, popcorn can run 6 to 8 bucks along with a drink it can cost twice as much as it took to get in, I dont go as often as I used to because of thjs.

I just want to know if they are planning to get leather seats soon?

I hadnt been here in years. Theyve replaced the old arcade room with a full bar. Also, they have way more options on their food menu now, still expensive though. Much of its interior has stayed very much the same which is a plus, for me anyway. GHad a good experience today after all these years.
