I love this place so much. Last time I was here it was cold out. But that didnt stop me because this place is enchanted now that everything is in full bloom its even more stunning.
It was a fun field trip when we went there. It was just really long.
LOVED IT! My whole family of 7 loved the mansion! The tour was excellent! I would recommend and I cannot wait to visit again and see what I missed first time around. I am glad the family donated their home and their personal items for us to view. Beautiful inside and out!!!
A fantastic place to visit. The quality of this home is really something. The Studebaker museum next door is also something to enjoy.
Went there on my 51 wedding anniversary. The supervisor would not let my wife and myself in.No exception..said the place was full.!!!!will not go back!!!
Great tour with lots of information. House has much of its original design. Last renovated in the 30s.
Was an interesting tour to go on about this mansion, who lived there and some of the luxuries of the time. Needless to say, there is a narrow staircase on part of the tour (and some places were jt is of concern to those with disabilities).
Very interesting and educational. A true gem for South Bend. Great history. What a museum.
Great place to visit. Very nice Manson very interesting history. Oliver plow company
Great place, family friendly. My 9-12 year old children also love this place. Prepare to spend up to 4 hours, more or less depending on how much you want to experience. The price is right the staff are helpful and friendly. The place is clean and neat.
Wonderful place to hold corporate parties!
This was a hidden gem!We bought tickets to see the Studebaker museum and this was included in the price. We enjoyed the tour of the Oliver Mansion better than everything else. Our docent did a wonderful job! We enjoyed hearing the family history of success through hard work and ingenuity. The place is beautiful. We enjoyed the many thoughtful features that the architect and family designed into the house.
A wonderful part of South Bend history.
I lived a block away all my life, always visited there.
Sorry. I’ve never been. Just clicked one star and I couldn’t figure out how to take it back. I bet it’s a lovely place.
People in charge were extremely accommodate ing and helpful
I visited here last spring and have been here before. Well-maintained mansion down to every detail. I enjoyed all aspects of the tour, including the little details of the family and their daily lives. I would visit again. Beautiful place.
Breathtakingly beautiful and historic. A must-see.
This is a great historical tour of the Oliver Mansion left just as it was when the last family member lived there. Very knowledgeable guides make the tour very interesting. See it by itself or with the Studebaker museum tour.
I love old houses, this one is so beautiful. The tour guide was so nice. She knew the history and shared it well. The wood work and details are awesome. The whole place is so nicely maintained. My family and I enjoyed our visit.
A lot of blown up digital photos and an $8 charge to see some antique carriages. Also its an agricultural company museum so if youre not into AG, probably not the most exciting.
Awesome, tour Guide Travis, very informative, and enjoyed his sense of humor. Made the tour a great experience.
I had great time there. It was very interesting to learned the story behind this mansion.

If you take the tour, you can get all kinds of information about the Olivers and about the studebaker auto industry. They have lots of information podiums along the way that explains how they lived and how it started.
