I had minimal knowledge of handguns but planned to buy one. I went to Kodiak, and they took lots of time to go over the basics and safety with me. Discussed pros and cons of different guns. I rented guns 2 or 3 different times and tried them in their range, finally decided on what I wanted. They were fantastic the whole time, and I will go back there whenever I need something!

Excellent place to shoot. Staff is very friendly and helpful and they take the time to make sure you have enjoyable safe experience. This was my second time at the range. My wife and I went with some friends early on a Saturday and got right in. Would recommend their shooting range for anyone looking for an affordable comfortable indoor range.

My daughter had never fired a gun before. Took her to Kodiak Range, the staff was very helpful in setting us up for a first timer. Had a fantastic time, looking forward to our next visit.

Attended this location a couple years ago. Called ahead and had everything set up on a trip from Canada. Great staff, friendly and informational when asked. Highly recommend visiting this range if you havent. I plan on going back to south bend just to visit this range again in the near future.

Good place to go and work on your aim!Everyone should go in here now and then to keep in practice just in case you would ever need to fire your weapon.So, you can rent a variety of weapons to try out in case you are thinking of buying one. Why not try one before you buy one?Bring along plenty of cash though because it’s pricey!Also, if you want to use a credit card or debit card there is a 3% surcharge.The people are knowledgeable and nice so it’s definitely a place worth going.They do keep the place clean so you won’t feel all funky when you leave there.They do require that you sweep up your own spent shell casings, which is kind of weird. But all in all it’s a good place.

My husband and i went tonight and the staff was awesome and Knowledgeable. The gentleman man that help us i believe was kyle or kasey forgot the name. :) was very friendly help show me some pointers we will definitely be back. I maybe even sign up for a class or 2 lol.Range was nice, great atmosphere and clean.Couldnt have been better.

A nice place to shoot indoors away from the bugs and excessive weather. They have guns and ppe for rent, and a nice selection of targets for sale. Ill be going back and taking friends and family.

Very rude staff, not helpful at all first time in . Not good with all guns, person already in range took time to show me and talk . But he also said the guys at front desk has attitude problem must be his muscles. At the end he tried to sell me a gun . Not off of the first impression coming through the door with that welcoming!! Will go someplace better next time.

Ranges was fine staff was rude and had a personality of shoe leather.. The guy was put out that I had questions about product..

Love this range .they should upgrade their venalation so we can shoot rifle and shotgun.i think that would help them get more business. Al least have it on one side of the range, booths 10-20 if I’m not mistaken would be perfect

This place is so much fun! I took my fiance here for his birthday and we both are very inexperienced and the guys there were so nice and informative about everything. Good prices too! We are definitely going back. Highly recommend going even for someone whos never shot a gun before!

Staff is extremely rude and unhelpful. Hardly a shop, less than 30 guns for sale. And almost everything is very overpriced.

Went there with a friend. Had never held a gun in my life.They took the time to explain the safety rules, gave us lessons (for free) and we were then allowed to shoot guns in the range. The guy came with us to help us get our first shots fired then quickly came in if we needed more help.This was amazing and not too expensive considering we spent two hours there.

To a person, everyone at Kodiak is professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. It is a first class operation all the way. The facilities are excellent. The people there truly care about what they do and the people that come there. I would most highly recommend Kodiak to anyone for all of the services they provide.

The range is clean enough and the staff seem friendly, and the price to use the range is about the same as anywhere else. My only problem with Kodiak Range is their ammo is super expensive, $8 more than my local stores for 9mm FMJ. That wouldnt be a problem, you can just bring your own ammo, but if you want to rent a gun they require you buy their ammo. I would be much more willing to rent a gun, (their price on that is amazing), if they didnt charge so much for ammo. Furthermore, they charge an extra 3% if you use a card to pay. Its 2018, cash is fading out, and businesses need to stop charging their customers that fee instead and just pay it themselves for the convenience of their customers.

People are always friendly and helpful. My first time I had a free lesson with Jerry. He was very relaxing and helpful as I was scared to death. He gave me some tips to practice at home to get more comfortable with my gun. Definitely went back today and had fun being more relaxed handling and shooting!

This is a great place to test out new toys and/or vent that steam built up over a stressful week/month/year and Im glad its local. Unlike some other indoor ranges, this one has fair prices like everyone else says and any questions you may have will be answered thoroughly.Registration is quick and painless and checking in takes only a moment with every visit afterward. Mondays are free for the ladies. Share a lane (up to 2 extra) for only $6. I see a lot of family bonding going on here. Bring em all.

An absolutely GREAT PLACE to go! Everyone is well informed and polite. They have the patience and knowledge to help just about anyone that walks through their doors. Drew especially is a great asset. Ive been in a couple of times and he is always friendly and professional. About the largest selection of pistols to rent that Ive seen, ranging from small and concealable to full size duty. Very clean range also with fair pricing on everything in the store. Well worth my 30 minute drive to get there.

I can honestly my experience here was awesome. Both John and Jimmy were more than helpful and professional in everything they did. Their unbiased opinions were a welcome relief from other gun shops I have been to in the past. Prices for the ranges are great, and gun rental policy is also well thought out. The range itself is well lit, heated, sound matted, and more importantly well ventilated. The ammo prices are a little high, but thats easily over looked when everything is taken into consideration. Last, and most important is that Kodiak is operated by veterans which gives them credibility. From the range, shop selection, variety of ammunition, and other training servicesession offered. Kodiak has made another satisfied and lifelong customer.

I have shot here a few times and the whole experience was top notch from the customer service to the firing range. The store part of the range stocks some hand guns, rifles, knives, and other shooting accessories. The prices for range time, ammo, and targets seemed reasonable.

I love this place! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The prices are very reasonable too. If you want it and they dont have it, they can get it for you. The range is closed right now, but I have been informed that it will reopen better than ever with support for rifle rounds. Please hurry, I cant take any more from the pricks over at Midwest Gun Exchange.

The facility, itself, is nice. The safety there is the major issue. Last night was the end of Kodiak for me. The group of kids waving guns around, taking selfies with the guns, and spraying high capacity magazines (occasionally hitting their target from 10 out) was enough. I have been there 6 times in the past 3 years and have felt safe once. I cant justify giving them another chance. One firearm accident is too many. As a former officer and lifelong shooter I believe firearm safety is of absolute importance. I would advise Kodiak to rethink their operation.

Took my mom to shoot for the very first time. All the guys were super helpful and took a lot of time to help us out. Best Gun store/range Ive been to so far! They let us shoot just about anything we wanted and were very patient and kind to my mother and I. We plan to go back very soon and often! Couldnt recommend this place more! We will be purchasing from these guys often.

Knowledgeable staff and great conversations. They have a ton of training classes that they host to cover every skill level and desire from first timers to vets. Great atmosphere and prices as well! Nothing even remotely comparable in our area!

Not a bad range, clean and a lot of space. Unfortunately, their rifle range is down due to renovation but patience is a virtue and will be worth it once its complete. The staff are very knowledgeable and offer classes from concealed carry to self defense with no weapon. Highly recommended.

The employee was rude, saying military personnel are the worse trained. Someone off the street is better. When they found out we were just browsing and asking questions he talked really fast as to get rid of us. I will never step foot in that place again

A great small arms range (flat-backed, about 65 long). The facility itself is well-lit and clean, and has motorized target holders that are easy to control.While I was firing, the owners stopped in to offer advice to newer shooters on the other lanes. In just a few minutes, they covered some fundamentals and stood by to offer on-the-spot corrections. This was comforting for two reasons: first, the owners seem to truly care that all shooters have a good experience; and second, that they watch the ranges very closely and proactively before mistakes happen.The shop carries intro Glock and S&W primarily, but they can order Sig, Steyr, and H&K for those that want them.Overall, great experience. Thanks so much to the owners for an excellent afternoon.

All sales are final. Buyer beware. I was disappointed they would not exchange one (new) holster for a different style. I didnt wamt any money back, just another style. It was a gift for a family member so I am buying amother holster. But not here.

Decent atmosphere well versed employees. Range safety needs to be on the floor always. Accidents have a happened there and people have avoided serious injury but thats not an excuse. 2 stars for range safety 5 for the shop and service so Ill give it a 3.5

Great range & incredibly friendly staff, five stars for sure. If you rent a gun dont ask if you can use other brand ammo (they get a little offensive.) Customer service is the name of the game in guns.
