Sonoma Cinema

The people here are always really nice and the theater is exactly what you should expect (maybe even a little better) for a small town. Probably been here a half dozen times and so far, always consistent. Thanks Sonoma Cinema, well keep including you in our date night plans!

Cheap older movie theater, Tuesdays its half price, and their regular prices are still low. The seats are comfy and film quality is great! Delicious popcorn etc, as youd expect, just cheaper tickets! Im glad this theater exists in Sonoma.

Sound system is way louder than it needs to be. Makes me wince every time there is a loud noise or action scene. Screens are dark dark. Day time in movies look like dusk. Night time shots you can barely make anything out. Cold. AC seems to be on full blast year round

The movie was great, but the floor in the theater was soo sticky that my shoes actually stuck to the floor when I stood up. I reported this to an employee.

It was a great time except that the employees didnt do much after we complained to the manager about some kids throwing popcorn and spitting on us but any other way it was a great time

I think its the best theater Ive been too! It looks smaller on the outside but its a good size on the inside. The staff are great! Love the food! Its the theater I go to! Its an all time favorite and if you go there I hope you enjoy it too.

The cinema is great. But the line to get pop corn so long... We had to step out of it to be able to watch the beginning of our 2 hours screensaver (aka Aquaman).

Boy! I had forgotten about this movie house tucked into the last space in a small shopping mall until I wanted to see The Leggo Movie so thats where I was recommended to GO and I did! What a special theater hidden away like gold! I really mean it! Like having alot of people over to watch a movie together—that cozy and friendly! And to think I had forgotten about it. My loss! Great prices in the Bay Area, with stellar management and clean facilities

Quaint movie theater!

Its expensive enough to actually go to a movie...but the cost of snack is outrageous...used to always have popcorn & soda but not more, plus the sodas are all garbage...I know Americans are addicted to them but their are healthier options out in the market place plus they didnt use to be formulated with as much garbage in them . Ex. the original Coke used to be good for you.

The manager Brian and staff are very professional, clean and provide excellent service. Tuesdays, Half-off day, is of course, unbelievably affordable. I work nights, so this is a great option to kick it with family and still be able to relax and have an affordable fun activity to do together without being too exhausting or breaking the bank.

This was my first time ever going to a movie theatre. Therefore I knew not the customs and mannerisms of cinema life. Yet the employees were extremely grateful and willing to devote their time to teaching me what occurs inside the prestigious, beautiful, walls. They directed me where I needed to be, and they treated me like a true member of the community. Highly recommend watching here. Will definently be returning.

Affordable prices and nice movie selection.

Not the best theater Ive been to. Small location with a small snack selection. The theater I was in had such a small slope to it that there were heads protruding into the bottom of the screen in front of me. I assume thats the case in all the rooms because I was watching star wars in 3d the weekend it came out.Other than that everything went well, sounded good, good focus, comfy chairs, and friendly enough staff at the counter.

Nothing extraordinary about this theatre, but convenient to locals and enough choices of new movies to keep one coming back

The Sonoma Cinema Theater is wonderful!! They have good food and drinks, (with plenty of options) and kind staff.

Nine theatres all in one place. They serve beer and wine by the glass. Full service conession stand. Reasonably comfortable seating.

An amazing theater. Ive been going for as long as I can remember. I always love going in to see a move on Tuesday when its only 4$ to get in.

A good Theatre option. Selection of movies is pretty much what you find at the other larger theaters, but this one is rarely crowded during the week. Concessions are what you would expect with nothing fancy added. Sound and picture quality are fine.

Chairs are comfy and it smells clean. The base is a bit muddy, and I think there is bleed-over from adjacent screen.

Never lines, love to go with my daughter to see a show. Get out of the house and spend some time seeing a show and bargain Tuesdays-everyone can afford!

Popcorn is always fresh. Seats are clean. Sound is booming! And the staff are always super nice, funny, and helpful.

HATE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They didnt let me bring food inside, even if I wasnt going to eat it. The workers skimmed through my personal bag and I felt harassed. They kept checking our room and I couldnt watch the movie in peace. The staff was also pretty rude. :(

Love the half price Tuesdays! Staff is polite but get there early to avoid long lines.

Fu n good food grt service

Great for a quick movie but many of their theaters (and Screens are small). In the smaller theaters the screen is a bit offset because of where the entrances are which means you have to get there early to get a seat that is centered.

Seats are comfortable, and now they serve food and wine. Lots of parking in the large lot.

Well it is a small business to support but it is difficult to keep supporting it when problems keep occurring. For example, their projector broke tonight so we were a little upset. Luckily they offered us a free pass for another time. The problem for some is it happens more than once. Plus they wouldnt allow a refund to those that wanted their money back, which is upsetting because they too have experience in having problems from the same theatre. Some of the workers are nice, not all, and the bad ones tend to show it. Its ok to see a movie, if your ok with having problems randomly occurring.

Friendly staff, good popcorn, clean environment, nice bathrooms, comfortable chairs, easy finding a good movie, simple phone number, great choices, special screenings offered., 3-D offered as an option frequently.

Great local theater! Only one (for main movies) in town so very convenient.

Clean and friendly staff. I look forward to when they begin offering beer/wine. My only complaint is poor sound quality in all theaters. But hey tickets are cheaper and I just skip the big action flicks and go to Napa/petaluma for the blockbusters.
