There was a simple set up here. Relatively new theater, clean and comfortable. This is where I go to watch all of the new movies! Nice surroundings as well, good place to catch dinner and a movie. Do some shopping if you want, etc.

Great overall experience if your trying to simply watch a movie. Been a while since it’s been opened, but the experience has always been neutral

Its a great little theater and the check-in process from buying the tickets online going real smooth using are barcode from the email that we got and we went straight in. Have a decent stand for Cokes and snacks. There is also a bar bit it doesnt open until 2pm. Very expensive bar.

I liked this movie theater, only came here for the Dolby Cinema projector and it was great. Toy Story movie was hilarious.

Dont get me wrong. The seats in the theatre are nice. The sound quality is solid, and the film quality is great. But after a soda or a cocktail, you generally have to go to the bathroom. My suggestion is, dont. Not here. The womens bathroom was a disaster. I could look through a hole in the wall and see the toilet next to me. More than half of the stalls were completely unusable, and the ones that werent a total disaster were barely usable - heres hoping you know the gal next to you.I try to give places the benefit of the doubt, and Im sure these folks were trying. But wow. What a mess.

Its a great theater. We watched the movie Ford vs Ferrari here and absolutely loved the experience. The location of this movie theater is also brilliant with so much to see and do around it. It has some brilliant shopping stops, restaurants, and ice cream parlours which can keep you occupied for quite some time. I would highly recommend this as I always get a great vibe when I am at this location.

The Dolby theater is the highlight though. Amazing sound, picture and comfort.I wouldn’t come here on weekends. Too many people. And some don’t take movie watching seriously. Checking phones and being weird.Management can be indifferent. Sometimes place had issues with seats and sound. Been to a couple of shows that didn’t work right or just straight up stopped working. So sometimes the experience is consistent. Sometimes not. I hope it improves

I will give this place 4stars because of one reason. The whole place is an awesome place to go watch a movie or eat and a movie. Very clean and comfortable with plenty of room. But then you have the very rude people who treat you like your bothering them. That was the down side to the few times I have Came. Never made sense to me why people treat the people who are the reason why they have the job they work at like they are a problem for bringing the business they bring to the place they choose. When the people are great the event seems all that much better!

Awesome Theatre, we love it. Location is well communicated, plenty of parking spaces available they also provide three hr free parking. Theatre is clean as always, restrooms are also very clean. All staffs are very friendly. Self serve popcorn and drinks are available inside the theatre. Tickets price are very reasonable, if you have AMC membership then it is even more cheaper the price for both tickets and foods, you can book the tickets over the counter as well as online.

Fantastic theatre to watch movies. Amazing recliner seats . Well maintained place. Good price for the tickets to movies on Saturday. Worthy of paying for the tickets.

Its a fairly well-maintained theater and generally clean. Seats are comfortable. AC is often too strong and you are freezing at the end of a movie. Take a blanket or two if you dont want to come out with an headache. Popcorn and other snacks are pricey as usual.

Super comfy seats..a little old but they world really well still. Movies are good quality and the sound is really nice and loud and clear. Staff is fast and friendly. Good place for an evening at the movies. Not too many choices of snacks tho.

Like most individuals, life seems to leave less time for relaxation. As a result, I very rarely go to the cinema any more. However on those rare instances, I choose this AMC location.The facility is clean, the auditorium is always comfortable and the staff is friendly.

Love AMC at Assembly Row. We always order our reserved seating online. We show our tickets on the phone and walk right thru. There is stadium seating and the seats are roomy. We always go to matinees to save money on tickets.

I would give this place a 3.5. Why... There is nothing impressive about it. The seats in the front and sides recline but not all of them. The arm rests go up... Good for a cuddle with the hubby.They have free refills in popcorn but I have not finished my popcorn to get a free refill.They do have a parking garage that is free for the first three hours. If u drive to the third floor of the parking garage it has an entrance that leads you straight inside the theatre.There is a lot of racial and ethnic diversity in the area which is lovely!!!

Always a great theater to hit up if our seeing the next blockbuster in IMAX or just a casual winter release on your standard size screen. As far as concessions go, could of used a few extra helpers during the opening week of Star Wars Rise of Skywalker. But I enjoyed my movie and experience as I always do. As an A-List member don’t expect our dedicated concession lines to be utilized correctly, no theater I’ve been to enforces the VIP lines. However the wait isn’t to long either way just make sure you as a movie-goer arrive a half hour early to any movie and time as a rule of thumb, especially if your bringing the whole family.(any theater, any brand, any movie).

I you are seeing a movie in IMAX or Dolby Cinema, this place is fantastic. It is a great location too. If you are seeing it in any non-premium format it isnt as nice, with some of the seats being rather worn out.

Came here to see END Game.Comfortable theater with ticket reservations available, excellent Sound and amazing picture quality thanks to Newly installed Dolby Atmos, Comfy recliner seats. Theater is conveniently located in North-Boston and ample parking space available in Garage below also you can park in Assembly Square which offers 3hours free parking. Overall, it’s in a nice place surrounded with shopping malls, fast food restaurants. Enjoy cinematic experience

I usually dont ever have an issue with this movie theater. But today has been everything added up to an utter failure. The food was sub par, ordered curly fries that looked like they were dried out from a cafeteria lunch for kids, the popcorn was semi burned and cold, dont under stand how that happens. The soda machines were barely working for the select few options that were left. Now heres the cherry on top. Theater 9, malificent at 9:00 pm October 31st, the theater was about 95 degrees. Multiple complaints from not just my self but other patrons, nothing was done.As we (my girlfriend and I) thought it cant get worse, the CC device that she was using since she is deaf.. stopped working. Way to drop the ball AMC. mess up a date that my girlfriend and I had for the first time in 3 months.

This is the 3rd time and it’s so dirty, there is 1 to 2 workers when they are slammed. Hire more people or train them to be faster and cleaner. The seatings suck, only the side recline unless you go to Auditorium 1 or 2 that are the Dolby theatre. For it being a NEWER AMC it’s out dated for sure... the BEST AMC’s are Methuen and Burlington by far...

This is the worst movie theater I have ever been to. The layout of the theater is extremely unorganized and hectic. We went to get concessions and waited in line for 15 minutes before being told we could not order food there, but only pick up the food there. So we waited in another line, and were told by the cashier no, you have to order over there, pointing to the area we just came from. When we finally ordered, there was just a mob of people waiting to get their orders. The person preparing the food proceeds to yell out who ordered chicken tenders?. 5 people raised their hands. They didnt call order numbers or take receipts, so anyone could just go and take food. Lastly, the condiments were empty. The system is a mess and we were 20 minutes late for our movie. Such a waste of time and the Showcase Cinema in Revere is ten times better.

Nice comfortable theatre. The audio and visuals were great. We saw Star Wars Rise of Skywalker.

Large sharp screens, with fully reclining leather seats that are quite comfy. Really good sound quality, especially in the Dolby Theater, although the volume can be too high sometimes. Good location right in the heart of Assembly Row. Easy parking in the garage next door. Ticketed seating. Definitely not cheap though.

Comfy spacious seats with super wide arm rests so you dont have to fight over it with your neighbor.

Seating is nice recliner seats relatively clean bathrooms are clean, parking is metered or there is a parking garage. Pricing is 13+dollars theres restaurants and shopping to enjoy

Customer service is an absolute disaster. Manager of the movie theater, Katie was very rude and obnoxious, didn’t know how to handle her job the proper way. At one point she mentioned that I can write a bad review she couldn’t care less, which is what I’m doing. Thanks for the advice, Katie! BTW, when I asked her name, she wouldn’t tell me and was hiding her name tag when I tried to look.

Good place to see a movie but very pricey. 3 adult tickets, 3 large popcorns, 1 candy snack, 2 bottles of water and 1 large fountain soda. 120.00. Are you kidding? They had an armed security guard there. What a liability . This kid had a full duty belt like he was a cop. Irresponsible of amc to put fully armed civilians in that place.

I love this theater the seats are super comfortable especially the front seats that are like Barca loungers. Surround sound as well so 3D movies are great in here. Regular movies as well.

Take the elevator if youre afraid of heights, the screens are all upnon the third level. Escalators were scary. The screens and the self serve concessions are great.

Very decent theatre in a great area besides the fact that all the seats do not recline. Only the ones in the front rows and in the separated end sections. Typical overpriced movie theatre food, but a greater selection of bites than most places. Good bar, clean, and friendly staff. Just make sure you pick the seats that recline, that’s the only disappointing surprise here

Really don’t love this amc location. parking is a PAIN. the concessions lines are crazy. some of the seats in the smaller theatres are recliners and others aren’t—but there’s no way to tell when you’re ordering tickets because the amc app says they’re all recliners. not true. some of the reclining seats have obstructed views with a glass railing. bummer because amc in general rocks

Seats were a bit torn out but functional. Screen was good, but at times so bright that it hurt the eyes.Cant say Im fully satisfied with the experience. Showcase At Revere definitely better than this theatre. Staff is very friendly. I had a mid afternoon movie, so I asked them if there was any place where I could sit to have my lunch and complete my work.. while the place lacks a seating or waiting area for people going to the movies, she told me I could sit at one of the tables at the bar (bar opens at 4pm). Overall a good day at the movies. The trailers and advertisements, as usual, were by mind controlling coca cola ads where they merge having their product to having a good time. Not true at all folks. Not true at all. The reason for you needing to work out so much is because companies like Coca Cola who advertises its products like its okay to play with your mind. Have a better control on your life, dont succumb to these advertisements!

By far my favorite theater in the area. 4 stars cause I saw a staff sweep the popcorn counter that appears to have debris and stray popcorn into a large bucket popcorn, and then later handing the same bucket to a customer.

Absolutely obnoxious volume during previews. I guess its the norm but this is beyond normal. I had to walk out because it hurts my ears. Our seats (my seat was torn) were wobbly and if you like reclined seats dont sit behind the handicap seating. They dont have them.Refreshments? They dont sell tea and coffee.

Theater is generally nice. Good snack area. Good bar area (although drinks are WAY overpriced... like $15 a drink and the drinks are small). The reclining chairs are nice and comfy. But, the bathrooms are gross. Not as gross as the ones in downtown Boston (those are downright filthy), but these are pretty gross as well. Stinks b/c close to 50% of people who go to a movie theater use the bathroom. Very bizarre.

Always enjoy coming here. I cant really say anything bad about it. I do enjoy pre-selecting the seats instead of looking for random seats.

Terrible management skills by Katie Noris! The theater employees were selling two weeks ago the Star Wars aluminum buckets for $15 and unlimited popcorn as long as the movie season lasted and Katie didn’t want to honor the employees mistake (or lies?). I asked Katie at least make one refill exception but she rudely refused to repear the employees mistake. How much can cost a little bit of popcorn to the business when we are already paying for three tickets, drinks, candies? This is not the first time this place don’t have well trained employees.

Seats are uncomfortable. They barely even lay back! I expect nice seats when paying $21 to see a movie in an IMAX theater.

This theatre is by far my favorite in Boston. I can access it via subway and the shops around assembly are so convenient. The seats recline, the theatre itself is clean, and the snacks are always fresh.

Not all of the seats recline, but reserved seating, convenient parking in the connected garage and plenty of space make this a good place to watch a movie. Concessions were also very easy to pre-order or pick up when you arrive.

Very nice theatre with standard red leather seats, but the seats here are not extended seats (theatre two). But theatre two has private couple seats on both sides, which is sweet.

My go-to Theater in the Boston area, never to crowded, seats are comfortable, with an AMC membership the prices are very good, and the popcorn is awesome. Conveniently located where there are shops, entertainment, and groceries. Great location for the entire family!

Overpriced. Poor experience to kick things off. Trick you with free refills on overpriced popcorn but you have to provide information and join some bs club (which is free anyway?). Basically just forcing you to provide them with your contact info.

Watched my first movie in this cinema yesterday. Great location and nice layout. Great experience with amazing comfortable seats! Highly recommend the isolated chairs for more comfort (the seat inclines). Overall clean place including restrooms but the food ordering experience was not satisfying (the ordering and paying process is not clear and no signs or staff to help). But overall, great experience.

The staff was really friendly. Even though the theater was older, the seats were very comfortable and the sounds and screen was superb. I wish I saw a movie in the IMAX theater but even the normal screens were great. No a bad seat in the auditorium.

Want to see a 3D IMAX film of superheroes, space forces, and CGI effects? Then this theater in this planned neighborhood will fill that void for you. A perfectly pleasant neighborhood of late capitalism Assembly Row is the kind of thought through nowhere that we have arrived at... plus there is a bar inside called Mcguffins.

Nice place to watch a movie if you can get one of the little side spots.

Theater 2 is fantastic. Wide seats, with dividers in front and behind you. Powered recliners with cup holders, so you can reach peak laziness. I havent tried the deliver to your seat option or the order online ahead of time option, but its easy enough to walk into the line, grab the candy/popcorn/drinks you want and get back to the theater.Assigned seats are so much better than the Southwest-style free-for-all of a normal theater. You can actually go enjoy a beer at one of Assembly rows breweries/restaurants and not have to race to make sure you can all sit together.

Good experience, but gosh, can we please not gouge everyone on snacks! (this theatre particularly, compared to others)

I have watched 3 movies at this theater. It always dirty inside. Even the outside windows are filthy. Looks like a run down warehouse from the street. The food court is so generic and run down looking. They actually charge more money when purchasing tickets past 12 pm. Lol...pathetic business approach. Showcase cinemas has a friendly atmosphere with better seating. All the seats at AMC dont recline.

This is a great place to hang out, catch a movie, get a bite to eat. Its conveniently located north of Boston. However, beware that this is a very high traffic area and can be quite a hassle to get in and out as there is only a few ways into this establishment. Some of the best times to visit is early in the morning during the weekends or after 7pm on the weekdays. Overall, this is a great area to hang out, especially in the summer time.

Our go-to movie theater. We live down the road, but would drive here if necessary because its so great. The Dolby theater has changed our world. We will never see another movie in a regular theater (unless its our only option, or unless its in imax). #AMCStubsAList

If you are going to theatre number two the first theatre you see and the one that is behind the employees that check you in (Dolby edition) your better off paying for a regular movie. DO NOT GO if your looking for good sound. I was sitting on row K, last seats to the left near the speakers (if your facing the screen). and I heard no sound coming out of the speakers. I went to see the Lion King with hopes of feeling like I was near Simba when he roared But instead all I could hear was sound coming out of speakers in front of me. I’m not the type to write reviews but this made upset because this was a childhood movie for me......God blessONE,Castillo-Nunez

Great Theater, really what you would expect. Nothing really stood out to us, but we also didnt experience anything that would leave any sort of negative impression with us. Good popcorn, good service, clean theater and a great movie (not that they control the movie in any way). Its close enough to us that this is probably where well come for movies in the future. Also FREE PARKING!!

The theater itself is fine but driving to Assembly is a huge mistake. The streets are always clogged and finding parking takes way longer than it should. If youre going to go here definitely take the train or Uber.

Lets get into it...So this movie theater is great however...The seats should go back and the popcorn and drinks shouldnt be so expensive. Like did Beyonce make the popcorn and drinks? I said what I said. Have a great day.

Love the ambiance of the theater. It really makes you like youre doing an authentic moving going experience. Popcorn was good though expensive. If youre in the Malden/Everett/Sommerville area this is a go to for movies.

Movies at night are great. Less crowded and is generally clean.

This is a great place to catch a flick. They have twelve theatres including a couple of premium options. IMAX 3D is offered here, some of the seats recline, and they have a bar. Parking is not too expensive and the snack selection is self serve. No need to print tickets, just purchase online and show your phone to get in. Super streamlined, clean, and overall a great cinema experience!

I love the seats at amc. Not common to have recliners.

My favorite AMC location in Boston! Great seating. I love the fact that they have reserved seating here, so you dont have to come super early to get good seats. Also, the parking is very convenient, you can get to the theater without even exiting the garage.

Great place to see a movie after visiting legoland.

I am here for a 1030 movie its Saturday nite popcorn all over my seat and my husbands seat seats 8 and 9 it smells when you walk in. It smelled last time i was here like feet when you walk in i was in theater. number 4 tonite. very upsetting i will be calling management.

The movie was excellent, but the concessuon stand person was on a different plabet said he forgot to put the hot dogs on, chicken and do pizza. Everyone was pisa and this was at 2pm. Told us we had to wait 29 minutes.

Overall a good experience. The seats are nice although they do not recline like the ones at braintree and thats a little of a let down. The location is good as its easy to catch something to eat in close proximity.

Super comfy seats and good sound quality, However the 3D glasses suck and there aren’t enough snack options.

Loved it, saw joker there, the recliners squeaked but that wasnt too bad, they are the older amc recliners so its understandable, if its not too out of the way you should go.

This is literally the only place in Boston Ill go see movies anymore. Big theaters, comfy seats even in the regular theaters, an option for IMAX, and a really nicely designed layout and concession area (even though Ill never pay those absurd move theater snack prices).

$5 Tuesdays is the way to go. No problems parking, all of the movies without the crowds. Absolutely my kind of experience. Larger auditoriums has great, reclining front row seats so they are very comfortable as well.
