Good drinks at a medium-high price and fun theater. Definitely best suited to performances that are supposed to be in the round, and tougher for shows that face the audience in 1 direction only

Amazing drinks, great service, cool vibe. I went there last night to see a Sh!tfaced Shakespeare show and got a drink before hand. The service was excellent and the drink tasted so good. Everybody was super friendly and I had a great time. I would highly recommend for grabbing drinks and seeing a fun show

This theater is tiny, but I actually really appreciated the intimate atmosphere. My spouse and I drove 12 hours to see The Penumbra Podcast: Live and we were beyond excited to sit so close to the actors. It made the entire thing so much more special somehow.Also, shout out to the entire Rockwell staff; yall were so polite and helpful.

Outstanding! Saw Kerplunk here with my 6 year old and her 5yr old friend She LOVED it. It is super engaging and the actors are very talented. They let the kids participate, touch the props and move around. Very informal and fun! Cant wait to try the adult theater

The Rockwell is a cool venue. Very chill and fun. Ive only seen comedy shows there (Sh*tfaced Shakespeare and Oregon Fail), but I know offer a lot of different shows.They have a bar and theres an even bigger bar next door. And its right in Davis, so you can grab food as well.

Good place to grab a few drinks or to bring a date. Bartenders seem to be able to make a wide variety of drinks. Atmosphere is low key a little bit darker and cozy. Its in the basement so no natural light.

The hosts of the comedy spot was very fun.

Been here for the Kerfuffle and it is great.

Saw BUMP. Fun show in a cool space. Tickets were cheap and totally worth telhe price but not the mostly finely tuned cast. Highly recommend considering the value

A tiny basement theater with very little ventilation. Someone was wearing strong perfume and no matter where I moved I could still smell the perfume and it gave me a headache. I was dissapointed in the show I came to see and they started over an hour late. I left at intermission because the show was meh and I didnt want to stick around for the second half and be there passed midnight.

Really nice experience it was fun and different, music was loud enough in my ears to keep me movingaverage age of the crowd any in between 18 to 403 DJs on stage each managing a chanel total of 3 channelsdressing is casual to mild dressy, definitely not too dressyyes, theyre seats to sit down if wearing high heelsno cost check, but I felt safe leaving my jacket on one of the theater chairs, (this place was a small theater before I believe)I would definitely go backperfect for a night with friends

We had an awesome time at the KERPLUNK show this afternoon. The price was more than fair and my kids had a great time. Thanks again for a fun afternoon on a cold day.

Ive been here twice for an Open Book performance by Blue Octobers Justin Furstenfeld. Its a very intimate space and there really isnt a bad seat in the house. The bartenders are friendly. It would be nice if there were a little more choice in snacks during a performance, but it didnt hurt my experience, but if I could make it better thats one way. Pretty clean bathrooms and space. I love the Rockwell.

After recently seeing their sh!tfaced Shakespeare performance of The Taming of the Shrew, I cant wait to come back. The play was shortened to a nice hour-long length, and even with drunken shenanigans, the plot was still revealed, basically... Anyone who likes to laugh can enjoy the show.

I went to the theater part of the Rockwell. Its an awesome place to see people doing what they love and having fun!!!

This place should become a regular venue for fringe theater companies instead of staging the worthless stunts that usually play here. I hope Acropoliss recent production is the start of that.

Loved S*%faced Shakespeare, The Taming of the Shrew. I didnt know what to expect, but I can say that it was a very FUN hour. Audience participation to some degree. The cast did a great job at trying to maintain their character while the drunk actor kept forgetting his. The ending was probably the highlight of the entire hour. Do NOT bring underage children, if its even allowed, as there was some partial nudity, not that it bothered me, but if you are expecting high-brow, forget it. Expect instead to be entertained and laugh. I would attend one of these again.

Excellent space, and inexpensive access to lots of fun shows. Drinks at the bar are no more expensive than a local bar. Had a great time seeing Thirsty there on 10/30!

The food was very good and the service was fairly quick. i felt the price was appropriate for the quality of the food and id gladly go back.

He non alcoholic drink selection is practically non existent compared to the quality of alcoholic fare. Also, some of the steps in the theater are not well marked and I sawe a child take a bad fall while there. Otherwise, it is a solid and fun performance venue.

Its one of those cozy little black box style theaters, always great as an intimate venue for a performance. And the ticket prices are more than reasonable. I saw the Anna Nalick show there in October 2017. The setup for will-call was a bit confusing for a few of us, but the staff were wonderful at helping. I didnt spend much time there, but theres a nice pub next door if youre waiting for a show and want to grab a drink or a quick bite. The lighting was tricky in the theater - it was good for seeing the performer, but not if you wanted photos or video without using a flash. I didnt give the concession stand much of glance, so I cant say more than that there is a place inside to get a drink.

Great little theater. Good viewing from all angles. Nice bar.

Very tight seating for the improv performance we attended, most of which were broken and uncomfortable. Acoustics made it extremely difficult to hear the actors when facing away from us. The act was funny, at least the parts I heard.

Awesome place to see a show. We watched the boston comedy festival here. It was enjoyable and the venue is a great setup. The drinks are a bit pricy but it is to be expected downtown.
