So glad to find them open again! One of the cleanest theatres weve been to. The owner or manager is truly a blessing. So very nice to see someone that cares about their business and customers.

This is an awesome theater! The staff is over the top; fast, friendly, efficient, just great all around. They offer a good variety of snacks, although the pretzels are lacking, the other options are good. Our family visits here often and always enjoy ourselves. As a mother I will add that overall this is a clean theater, and most importantly, the restrooms have always been clean and stocked. This is also a wonderful place to host a birthday party. We held our son and daughters here and it was a hit! The manager really went out of his way to make sure it was a special experience. We all had a great time!

We were literally the only 2 customers in the building as far as I could see. The employees were really on top of disinfecting and they all wore masks. I felt comfortable with the level of adherence to the pandemic guidelines. Thanks very much to the employees for doing such a terrific job! It was great to sit in front of the big screen again

This business requests that patrons wear masks but will not enforce it. If you don’t want to breathe the exhalations of a covid denier, stay away.I understand the motivations of businesses who don’t want to put their employees in the position of being enforcers, and risking being cussed or assaulted because 2/3 of Pulaski County still thinks this is a hoax. But it’s time to step up.

Very clean an staff was every polite. But it was a little to warm in the theater

Theres not a lot you can say about a cinema, but I guess the few things that you can say are pretty important. At Somerset Cinemas 8 you will encounter friendly staff, a very clean facility ( including restrooms), and good if somewhat over priced food. Oh and all the latest movies.

This is a nice small town theatre with a much nicer price tag than the typical urban counterpart. I like the ability to order tickets online to skip the line and the stadium seating is excellent. Nice quality sound system as well.

Clean friendly place. Prices for drinks and popcorn combos are high and so is the candy. Other then that its a nice place for the family to enjoy.

It was not good at all, they have 12 speaker in one of the room. They were very loud. It got on my nerve. I had to go out to the car. I couldnt watch the movie at all.

Mom and I had a tradition of a movie, popcorn and soda here when I visited once a year. After her 94th birthday we enjoyed our final movie rendezvous. Great memories!

Went to see Richard Jewell and it was great! The movie theater was nice and the seats clean and comfortable. The only thing that was not 5 stars was the popcorn. Too salty and not the best tasting.

Pretty nice little theater. Prices werent too bad either. I like the ticket kiosk they have, super convenient! Theatre was clean and staff were friendly.

Decent prices and really nice facility. My only small complaint is the spacing between the rows. Im 411 and it was tight for me now my husband is 63 and was super cramped! But i will have to say the actual seats themselves are really nice and comfortable

Always fun wish there were more snacks and foods to choose from

I used to love this theater as did my family. Now its gone downhil. The staff is extremely rude. A random security guard walked up to me without even announcing who they were and told me to put up my phone like I was a child. I wasnt making a call I simply was answering an important text. The management was just as unfriendly and didnt even refund half of the tickets I purchased when we all left early. The sound quality was also not good. I would no longer suggest this theater to anyone. Im very disappointed with the customer service here.

NEVER COME HERE. Chase Walker isn’t a good worker. He accused me and a friend of using a disposable and said that if we do it again he will kick us out. We don’t use disposables, and i didn’t appreciate being embarrassed and the movie i paid for being disrupted.

Clean and organized. Only one back from the ticket counter, but another counter offered to sell me a ticket, and then asked if I wanted to purchase food at the same time. Good service without being pushy.

Some employees seem nice and some just dont need to be working here. Ticket prices seem to be the standard going price for cinemas. Good variety of snack selections with the standard cinema prices. Always seems to be clean. Id give them four stars if management would hire more friendly employees.

I visit this theater when Im in town visiting family and its a decent theater with good prices but the seating is outdated and too close together. I dont care for the no refill policy on popcorn but its okay. Now for the audio on the movies that is my biggest issue. Its ok when the trailers are on but as soon as the movie begins its so low that I wish it had closed captions. My tv at home sounds so much better than this theater. Now the staff is very friendly and very helpful.

Nice place but just like all the other movie theaters, concession prices are outrageous!

Really nice theatre, but in the last couple of years the volume of the movies is SO LOW you wish for close-captions. The previews are at an ok level (a little low, but tolerable). As soon as the feature starts it seems as though they are afraid of waking someone up. It is seriously like a whisper level.....

Slow service but good clean comfortable theater.

Ive always loved going to cinemas 8, they are kind and clean and very respectful. The popcorn and candy are usually very fresh and the games in the arcade are only partly old and run down .

Good theater with great quality movies and good arcade

Great movie theater. The prices are average compared to any other movie theater. The popcorn tastes good. The service is friendly but a bit slow sometimes. They have plenty of theatres to see all the new movies in. They do have free kids movie showings during the summer. They also have a small game area.

I really enjoyed my trip there. I took my grandchildren there for an afternoon matinee and loved it. The rooms were small and not over crowed. The seats were awesome. They were soft and cushiony and the ones down front were rockers. Awesome, right?

Everything was fine, accept the price of food and drinks. A little high.

4 oclock movie price is good. Saw movie named Overcomer that was great.

Went to see Slender man with babe. This movie theater was so clean and polished! It reminded me of an older Diner with all the lights. Enjoyed myself then after the movie we went into their arcade room. Staff were very friendly. Cant wait to go back

I really like this Cinema its super clean and the staff are friendly. The prices are a little steep though and thats why I didnt rate it as five stars.

Bohemian rhapsody was fabulously done. I didnt want it to end! But Google told me the wrong show time so i missed five minutes. I will be back though! And Ill call for times.

Really love the seats in the theater. They are very roomy. Also enjoy the stadium seating. To save some money though, its best to go during matinee.

The place is nice and clean enough. But we wont be returning. Because we had to sit through 30 minutes of endless commercials. My GOD. Endless commercials for Somerset businesses. And just when you think its over, you get hit with a handful of movie previews. By the time the movie began, my head was already pounding and spinning.Its nice to be able to go into a quiet theater and sit down waiting on the movie. Then up pops maybe one or two movie previews. Then the movie WOWS you. But this experience DOES NOT HAPPEN at Somerset 8. I felt like I was watching Dish Network. And I certainly would not have satellite television because of the endless commercialism. Ill stick to our little local theater.

Took my son here to see a movie and had a great time. The place wasnt too busy thats always a plus for me since anxiety sucks. Great place to go.

This is a new facility that is fairly new and up to date. It is more comfortable than most theaters, tickets are $5.50 for day shows and $8.00 evenings. Great parking and many engaging activities in between movies.

We saw the 3D movie of The Avengers endgame. The seats were really uncomfortable and the 3D glasses made the screen way darker... when we took them off, the movie showed normal lighting. Popcorn was stale. This was our first visit

Good cinema and kept very CLEAN!!

3D does not work properly. They need to do something to fix it. Is the second time it happened. Is a shame I had to pay 48 dollars for 6 to see a blurry movie.

This is our hometown theater and my family loves it. I love their prices and the theater is comfortable in every way. Love coming here. When they start selling hot dogs it is going to be off the chain!!!

Need better parking for HANDICAPP, should be right in front of the doors and automatic doors for HANDICAPP

Worst theater Ive ever been in! Staff stood in the doorway and talked over the movie, seats are SUPER uncomfortable, no leg room at all, and you can hear the other movies from the neighboring movies! Horrible experience! Ill drive into Corbin or into Tennessee before I watch another film here. Spent months looking forward to End Game to have this exerience ruin it.

We have always enjoyed going to the movies. One of our favorite active. The staff is very nice. Theater is well maintained!

Nice theater but not enough employees at times. You have to wait to long to buy tickets and snacks. It took 16 mins in line to buy tickets and our goodies, there was only 1 person working because an employee called out. There have been other times we had to wait for a long time in line. Theater is comfortable and clean.

Took my 6 yr old daughter and my nieces ages 4 & 5. They all were very happy with the movie and snacks. There was enough room for everyone and they enjoyed it very much.

I love this Cinema. Although it might not have all the bells and whistles...it is readonably priced and the film and sound quality is good. Has a Food. Court in the lobby where you can sit down and eat if you wish. You can purchase standard movie theatre fare. An arcade and clean restrooms are a plus.There are a couple of self serve kiosks just inside the doors where you can purchase tickets if you wish.

Love to take my 7 year old daughter and husband here great family night out.

Best theater close too somerset/McCreary

Do not bother with paying on line, you will still have a 30 minute wait in line selling popcorn and candy, and when you finally get to the counter they have to type in the bar code, when we ( us and two grand children) got into the Theather the only seats were the second row from the front!!!Never Again !!!

This was a nice movie theater. Besides movies they had games to play, food to eat and clean seating to watch the movie. We saw The Star. Was a good movie. It gave me the goose bumps every time the angles came on. Like I did veggie the seating was good to sit in. We did not get uncomfortable at all. The air temperature was nice as well.

This movie was great but most of all I watched it with the love of my life!!

We saw a great movie in a very comfortable theater. The seats, atmosphere and amenities made us feel at home. Prices are fair and the snacks are great. We will be back there soon.

Always a fun time going here. Nothing like a game of pinball before a movie to take you back. Food is high priced, but aint all theatres?
