The venue and staff are wonderful. The halls and landscaping are beautiful! The venue is clean and well maintained. From the moment you walk in, until your event is completed, the staff is there to help you every step of the way. Our wedding ran smoothly and there were no issues from Marigold on the day of the wedding!

Its a very elegant place to hold a wedding. Gives you the feeling of a very upscale hotel. Friendly and hospitable staff and lot of parking.They have a self playing piano and a very nice lobby

I was here as a guest for a wedding and the place is beautiful, inside and outside. The halls are grand and elaborate and the management was very good.

Terrible location in the middle of a residential neighborhood. The music is so loud you can hear it blocks away. Rude in house management and staff.

The team at The Marigold was absolutely incredible from helping with the planning, to the day of. They made sure every detail was taken care of. Our wedding planner offered guidance and advice which we incorporated and made our day even more special. They day of the wedding, they helped facilitate the order of events, kept everything running smoothly and on time, and made sure we had time to eat without compromising the flow of the wedding day events. The venue itself was absolutely beautiful, and perfect for our photos. It was raining on our wedding day so we couldnt take photos outside but that didnt bother us because the lobby itself was such a gorgeous backdrop. The Marigold team brought us up beverages and appetizers as well and made sure we had everything we needed. So grateful to the amazing, highly competent and helpful team at the Marigold for making our big day so perfect!

We hosted our wedding reception here and it was amazing! The staff, the hall itself, our cake, the organization and coordination with the vendors was exceptional. All of our guests complimented the service they were provided. The hall and the lighting looked gorgeous!!! The place is beautiful to book for any events. The staff are very organized and the place is very clean and everything looks nice.

My daughter just had her Sweet 16 on Friday, March 13th 2020 just before the bans went into effect. Im so glad we werent forced to cancel. The party was magical. Lisa was so instrumental in making this night special! The food was phenomenal, and the place is just gorgeous. Even the suite the girls (her court) used was amazing and they were able to have a private cocktail hour there. The bar created signature mocktails for her and her under 21 guests. Everyone raved about the food and even the cake was heavenly - light and moist with lemon mousse filling. The hors doeuvres were all delicious and each employee was extremely attentive and took care of the smallest details so I could enjoy the party myself. What an amazing experience!

We recently had our wedding at the Marigold on October 19th and it was truly unforgettable. The Marigold had a beautiful outdoor gazebo for our ceremony, a wonderful glass cocktail hour area with seating inside and outside for guests, and the reception hall had built in lighting as well as projectors that made this venue such a hit.Big thank you to the Marigold and their team for making our wedding day so smooth and effortless. I highly recommend this venue as they are truly accommodating to anything you need!

A lovely venue tucked away in an unassuming neigborhood in the heart of central Jersey. My husband and I held our wedding reception here in October 2019 and had a wonderful experience. Lisa was lovely to work with throughout the planning process, always available to answer questions and even helping us work through some tricky last minute changes. The venue itself is gorgeous with both indoor and outdoor settings for guests to enjoy and pictures to be taken. I especially appreciated that there are separate spaces for cocktail hour and dinner. My guests raved about the food, especially the generous cocktail hour treats. The whole staff are incredibly professional and attentive and made the whole evening run so smoothly. And for this level of service and amenity, you cant beat the price! I would highly recommend The Marigold for your next event, wedding or otherwise.

My husband and I had our wedding at The Marigold and words cannot express how beautiful everything was. The venue itself was exactly what we were looking for in terms of food, atmosphere, scenery and overall experience. Julie, Lisa and Marcella were absolutely PERFECT. These ladies made sure everything ran smoothly and went above and beyond in making sure our special day was amazing. THANK YOU!The food and drinks were great! All of our guests commented on the quality of food being served. I must say the venue played a huge part in the success of our wedding. I highly recommend The Marigold to all couples looking for the perfect venue for their wedding! our guests are still talking about how beautiful everything was!

Amazing place. Super reception and duper taste. Love it

Came here for a friends anniversary party. The cocktail hour was okay with a variety of choices. The cheese plates should have had cocktail sticks or a separate pair of tongs as they were missing. There were hot and cold choices similar to a small buffet. The dinner...lets start with the salad as it was unusual with sliced cucumbers as a bowl. The greens on my plate were not the best as they were wilted and rotten, needless to say I did not finish it. The sorbet was a nice touch. The entree was dry. I had the salmon and it was overdone. Others had the short ribs that were so dry that they had to ask for additional gravy just to make the meal palatable. The dessert was okay but how can you go wrong with ice cream that was there to compliment the homemade cake.All in all this place gets 3 stars because it just didnt make the impression I had hoped it would.Note to the Marigold with regard to the valets. You need to provide them with a warmer place as is was 20 degrees and they were all standing there shivering.

Very nice looking place, the food is fine. They are so so slow in everything they do. I waited at the bar during cocktail hour for 20 minutes only to get a skunked beer...I also waited 15 minutes to get into the parking lot, because valet parking couldnt figure it out. I personally wouldnt do a party at this place.

We had our daughter sweet sixteen party at Marigold and it was just spectacular. Everyone had an amazing and unforgettable experience. Facility is very beautiful and spacious ( Main entry, cocktail reception area, outdoor arrangement and main ballroom hall ) which make every guest feel welcome and special. Mr Dave and his staff members are very humble and extremely professional . They made sure each and every detail was taken care of and executed the party flawlessly. We got great feedback from our guests and everyone had amazing time. The Marigold is absolutely breathtaking. We were not only satisfied but overjoyed with the liveliness of the staff members and Mr Dave himself. My daughters quote says it all Marigold made the best night of my life even more memorable . Went here for a buddies wedding on a beautiful fall Saturday. Procession, ceremony, cocktail, and reception were pretty. Food was well prepared. There were two events going on at the same time, but it was fine.

My husband and I are so happy with our decision to choose The Marigold as our wedding venue. From the start, we were always treated like family by Dave and the rest of the staff. Everyone has always been so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. On the day of our wedding, we could not have asked for a better day. Everyone was punctual, organized, and incredibly easy to work with! Plus the venue is so beautiful and elegant! We are so happy with our choice and would recommend this venue to anyone!

Beautiful facility. We had a wedding with over 300 people and it did not feel crowded. Everything was set up for taking memorable pictures.

The venue is impressive, it appears able to accommodate any size event from modest to a Gala. 3 cocktail areas & a large banquet area.

The Marigold is a beautiful venue for weddings, and other special occasions that require large capacity. The staff is super friendly. The ambience is one of opulence and is a very comfortable place. The outdoor gazebo area is a nice picture taking spot.

We recently got married at Marigold and I cannot put into words what an amazing experience this was. From the very beginning Dave made us feel very comfortable ... Marigold gives you event planners for the day and I was nervous how that would go, but Dave assured me I won’t have to worry about anything the day of our events. And he was 100% right. Chang was absolutely fantastic, I didn’t stress about ONE thing, I was able to enjoy our events fully and knew the team had our back. The whole staff took such good care of us and of course the venue is stunning! Highly highly highly recommend Marigold!!!!

Gorgeous new venue, very clean and nicely maintained. The grounds outside make for a beautiful photo op and I loved that the cocktail hour/ lunch area had a lot of natural light filtering in through the large windows. Great place for a wedding !

Great location for live events. Plenty of parking and the building is well maintained.

Company held their holiday party here. Facility was beautiful however I do not recommend the food. Every dish had the same flat taste. Staff did not circulate the hors doeuvres evenly and when you asked questions they were unable to provide clear answers. If you arent willing to get a drink from there bar you will go thirsty as the wait staff did not fill water glasses during the meal. Definitely would not attend a function here again.

I attended a wedding and reception at this venue in October 2019. The decor is beautiful inside and outside. The gazebo in the courtyard is a nice area for photos.

We had our wedding and reception at The Marigold on August 18th, 2019 and every single member of the team there from Dave to the staff level is absolutely AMAZING! Myself, my family, my husband, and his family are so impressed with how effortlessly both our wedding ceremony and reception were executed! We did not feel stressed on the day and everything was handled PERFECTLY by Chang and his team! Chang is very sweet and kind! :) Julie and Dave handled our pre-event planning and they are very responsive, approachable, and make you feel like family! Lastly, my mom had to unexpectedly use their kitchen to put together an offering for the Hindu ceremony and everyone welcomed her inside with open arms!

Pretty good place for a wedding/event. I was there for a company holiday party and the place, though small, was pretty well decorated. Multiple bars in multiple areas was nice for a big event. Food was acceptable but not particularly noteworthy. No food allergy info was posted on any of the buffet labels and the gluten free status of any given dish varies depending on which staff member you asked. No appetizers were GF despite the fact I know many people at my company are Celiacs (including myself) and we were polled by our employer so they could pass that info on to the event. Given most of the food was pasta, sandwiches and breaded, deep fried items GF options were salad (though no one seemed to know about the salad dressings) and carving station meat. I still ended up Ill at the end; I dont know if that was due to bad Intel from staff or cross contamination.

We went to a neighbors celebration there. It was in the sunroom. It was so beautiful! The food and beverages were great! I would host an event there!

I got married over a month ago at the Marigold and it was the best night of my life!! From the beginning of stepping into the marigold for venue hunting to the very end of our wedding reception, my husband and I were treated with such kindness and respect from Dave and his team. All the guest enjoyed the venue, food and music! Everyone at the Marigold took such good care of us. All questions and concerns were answered right away. They were always willing to work with us. Wedding planning is already very stressful and trust me as a bride you want to work with vendors who work with you, which Marigold delivered!

We had wedding & reception of my son at Marigold.Marigold is the great place for wedding and reception. It is central jersey location so it is convenient for all the guest. New and clean facility. Management and all staff was very helpful and professional. All the members of Marigold are so helpful that we felt relaxed on day of wedding & reception. All my guest were very happy for food during lunch and dinner. Received lots of phone calls from my guests regarding food and venue, because they were there first time at Marigold.I highly recommend this Vance place for wedding, reception, sweet sixteen or any small or large function.

We are so happy we picked Marigold as our wedding venue. Not only is the venue gorgeous, but the entire staff made our wedding day so special. One of the main reasons we picked Marigold was because of Dave. He made us feel at ease, answered all of our questions and concerns, that the day of the wedding - I felt so relaxed. Through out the wedding planning process, Dave and his team were so prompt with answering any of our questions no matter what time of the day/night it was. The day of the wedding, Maitre D - Chang was beyond amazing! He made sure that not only me and my husband but our entire family, bridal party were taken care of. He checked in on us so often and really made us feel comfortable. I would highly recommend Marigold! I felt like they were a part of our family all last year. Thank you again Dave, Chang and team for everything you did for us!

Very fancy venue, but food was less than great

I attended an Indian wedding at Marigold. The ambience is good. The arrangements were good. The ceremonies started at 5:30 am and even at that hour all arrangements were in place.The food was probably catered from outside as it had to be ethnic Indian food.The main banquet hall was where the reception took place. It can easily seat 300 people and still have space for a sizable dance floor. The acoustics are reasonable.A five for this visit.

Beautiful venue with excellent service!! I can not say enough kind words about Dave and his staff, specifically Julianne and Chang. They treated us like family during the planning process and took great care of us the day of our wedding and reception. So many of our guests raved about how gorgeous and elegant the venue was, and I could not agree more. Thank you Marigold for easily being one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!

A few weeks ago we held our wedding reception at this venue. My wife and I are extremely pleased with this venue and all the services they provided. We were naturally nervous on how our day would come together, but the marigold staff put our tensions to ease. They were very friendly, helpful and answered all questions. The venue allowed us to visit several times before our wedding to plan things out and went over every detail with us. All the staff members we worked with gave us plenty of time and saw to our every need. During the reception our guests were very happy with the service of the bartenders and staff. We were also pleased with the overall look and beauty of this venue. The Marigold provides a wonderful setting, beautiful scenery, impressive and friendly service, all while working within a reasonable budget. I strongly recommend this place for any event!

I had the best experience working with the Marigold staff, Dave Bajaj, Julie, and Chang. My husband and I had our wedding and reception at the Marigold last month. From the beginning, Dave was wonderful to work with. He was responsive, attentive, and accommodating with respect to all of our needs leading up to the day of the event and the rest of the team executed everything very well. Chang made sure my husband and I had an opportunity to try the dishes we ordered and he even set up our donut wall for us. I whole-heartedly recommend hosting your event at the Marigold!

Nice Venue, can handle large events, but food was just ok.

Beautiful place for a small wedding venue, reception or celebration.I cannot give a full review as I did not go upstairs and see the top half.In the bottom hall an elaborate glass chandelier and lighting set the mood for dancing. It was gorgeous.

Always great ambiance, great food and service. I love to come here and will recommend anyone to celebrate their birthdays, wedding anniversaries or weddings as well as other events.

My husband and I booked The Marigold in 2017 for our 2019 wedding. After booking the venue we had a very rocky start when planning our wedding. We had our ceremony there as well and we were told about an additional room being built that in the end could not hold our guest count. After many phone calls, Julie understood my frustration and made accommodations in every way that we asked and I could not be more thankful, Stephanie was always so incredibly helpful from beginning to end as well! At our ceremony and reception our Maitre d, Marcella was absolutely incredible. She made sure that we sat down to actually have dinner! The wait staff was absolutely exceptional, they were always attentive to us and to our guests, and the food.. absolutely delicious! I will be recommending The Marigold to many soon to be brides and from the feedback we got at our wedding many of our guests will be too! Everyone at The Marigold, I cant thank you all enough for making my wedding absolutely magical.

A family wedding reception was a great success at this venue. They made sure the cocktail hour was well done, appetizers were finger liking. Dinner menu was also as delicious. My favorite part was the desserts, so many options of mini desserts. The waterfalls, gardens and marble gazebo were picturesque!

The Marigold Banquet Hall is a very nice place for family functions and parties. I attended Silver jubilee party of my friend. The sitting arrangement was very good and service of food and bar was in a very good manner. I recommend this Hall for your family functions.

Good place for family perty

Very nice atmosphere unfortunately they only host big events of at least 150. Wanted to give my husband a 40th birthday party of about 100 people and they wouldn’t accommodate.

The Marigold is certainly one of the best and most luxurious places to host a wedding or some event of your choice in Jersey. As a Mass resident, you will be amazed as this newly constructed event venue has a garden, valet, and vast parking hat is pretty rare for a good venue like this. Even though the venue is indian-owned, it sure lives up to the expectations and the food provided is good as well. Overall, if you want a new and luxury venue, The Marigold is the place to go.

The Marigold staff were extremely helpful and highly detail-oriented! They were there during every step of our planning process & truly made our vision come to life. Dave was always one phone call away and was prompt to responding to our messages, he truly was a life-saver. He gave his honest input about food choices, baraat, and various other aspects in order to make our day much more spectacular!! He was always patient and made us feel relaxed about all of our events. He always put a smile on our faces along the way! Julie helped us sort out the details of decoration, seating, and order of events. She truly was kind and open to our suggestions about how we visualized our special day.On the actual wedding day, the staff were extremely attentive to all of our wedding needs...especially Chang. He was always right by our side in case we needed assistance and remained calm, even though we were stressed. He greeted our guests in a cheerful manner and graciously welcomed them. He was excellent in hospitality and customer service. Our friends and family couldnt stop gushing over how impeccably beautiful and elegant this venue was.All of the events turned out even better than we ever could have imagined!! To all the staff, thank you so much for giving us our fairytale wedding! The Marigold have become a part of our family & will always remain close to our hearts. We are truly humbled by all the support and love that we received throughout the entire process. We are eternally blessed to have cherished memories made possible only by our Marigold family!!!

Great ambience. The staff was well organized and catered well to the party that I was attending. Especially appreciated the porte-cochere due to the heavy rains!

On Friday June 7th my highschool had there senior prom here. First lets start with the pros. The place was very beautiful and I loved the garden area where you take pictures. Now for the cons1. We had to wait an hour and 15 minutes just to get into the Marigold banquet room.2. The food was not good at all. I ordered the chicken parmesan with spaghettiand the chicken tasted like wendys and the pasta had no sauce.3. The salad they served tasted like water, it had no dressing on top, no flavor and there were barely any croutons on the salad.4. The DJ they hired was very bad, all he did was play rap music with curse words.5. The only dessert they provided was Ice cream. Which I found very disappointing. Since I am not a big fan of Ice cream. I wish they could of served desserts that were more elegant.Senior prom is supposed to be very memorable and fun and instead it turned into an event that I dont want to ever remember again.I will never plan any future events here for these reasons.

Great banquet hall, but $50 (plus service charge and sales tax) is expensive. Food and other stuff are not included in the price.
