We had so many issues with planning our wedding because the wedding coordinator was not very helpful. She spent more time talking to us about other peoples’ weddings than our own. We asked her at least four times to see their decorations for centerpieces and every time she would say that their decorator wasn’t there even though I would tell her weeks in advance that we were coming. We just ended up buying everything for our centerpieces and other decorations. We had a beach ceremony, which she clearly was not happy about. She complained about other couples having too many decorations to bring to the beach. The day of our wedding we were getting on the party bus to go to the beach and we were basically loading our own decorations. When we got to the beach there was a giant pipe blocking the view of the ocean. She kept saying how it would be fine and that the bridesmaids and groomsman would block it in pictures. You couldn’t even see the water - that’s how big the pipe was.After we payed the final bill she told us that their bridal suite was being renovated and we couldn’t use it. They have a locker room area so she said we could use that for hair and makeup. When the makeup ladies got there half of the outlets didn’t work, there were no tables for them, and it was very hot. The coordinator was no where to be found because she was not coming in until later. I saw her once the entire day before the ceremony.During our reception when the DJ was in the middle of introducing us all, she came up to me and asked me how much my hair and makeup cost, totally uncalled for.The food was pretty good. One of the entrees did not taste the same as it did during our tasting, which was disappointing.The decorations we brought were set up very nicely by the decorator and everything looked great at the reception. The venue as a whole is very pretty and the staff was great. We used their two decks and outdoor bar for the reception. Overall, the whole night was great and everyone had a great time.

Is there facilities was beautiful the golf course was in excellent shape considering this time of year and the staff was wonderful had an awesome time will love to come back and play the course again

Terrible experience. 3 groups in front of ours they let a fivesome out. The 2 groups in front of us kept intermittently playing together and all congregated on several greens. We called the pro shop to send a ranger but that never happened. I called the GM and never received a return call. The front nine took over 2 1/2 hours to play. The bunkers also had no sand.

Loved my dinner there the other night, crab cakes yum.

Nice golf course fun to play. Need to address the Geese issue.

Its in bad shape, tee boxes were beaten up. Definitely did not seem private.

Great place to hold a. Well organized event. Parking lot needs attention. Entranceway needs to be marked during an event to accommodate first time visitors. Service and staff are wonderful and very professional. Great food excellent Chef must work here. Ballroom will fit well over 300 (That from a ball eye assessment). Elegant atmosphere clean and well organized. Must have a experienced event planners.

Course was in wonderful shape.

It was an association function. Food and service were wonderful! Atmosphere was so peaceful. I really enjoyed it here and cant wait to go back!

Attended a wedding reception held at the club. Surroundings and layout very nice. Food was excellent! Club has a large well payed out golf course with multiple outside venues overlooking the grounds. Very nice club room downstairs staffed by attentive and helpful bartenders.

We play an outing here every year, and the course is always in great shape. Fairways can be narrow at times, and pin placement was tough, but we were able to make some great shots and walk away feeling satisfied with our game. The food was solid, and the desserts were amazing. Carrot cake and a coconut type cake, delish!

I attended a retirement/happy to be alive celebration on a Sunday afternoon. The food was very good, portions were good and the place had a nice view of the golf course. I would highly recommend Greatest Bay for any occasion.

This place is beautiful and the food is actually okay. My problem is vending at this facility. There is really no easy way to get your items upstairs. You will need a wagon or two and you will either have a nice walk from the side, which leads to the elevator, or your will have to go up and doen steps to get to your event. Make sure you have help if your merchandise is heavy. Outside of that its just far off in somerspoint. Overall nice place

I have been to many functions here over the years, and never had a bad time. Today we had a family reunion, and it was exceptional. It was a buffet format with an omelette station and a carving station. The staff was professional, and fun; since i, and my cousins are hovering in the 30s range we had plenty of kids running about (mine almost the youngest pushing two). They were safe and the staff was aware of them at all times while carrying the instant refills to the buffet line. I sure hope that my family does this every year, and that the room is available again for us to enjoy.

I really enjoy Great Bay. Its a nice atmosphere. The parking lot is close to the building. The food is always good. And everyone always seems very nice. So Im very happy with Great Bay Country Club and I enjoyed my time when we go to meetings are Banquets there

We had our our holiday breakfast at GBCC this year. The service & food was excellent. The event manager Lauren was very professional & everything was just perfect.

Greate place. Real Nice course with an excellent grounds/greens keeper.Food is excellent. Staff is excellent. The professionals can detect any little improvement that will make you a better golfer. Our new pro Scott Dunn and Assistant Pro Ryan Owens are truly dedicated to this club and making membership a Greate experience. Recent changes have rounded this club out to perfection. Ron Ralston does a greate job as GM.

Nice environment. Good food. Chairs were very uncomfortable making a 2 hour seminar seem much longer.

Went for a fundraising event. The room was fine. It served its purpose. Nothing beautiful. Parking is limited.

We ordered a prepared Thanksgiving dinner and we could not have been any happier than if we had prepared it ourselves (my wife). We were here for a banquet. We were late because my son had to work. I was told basically too bad there are no more tables. They just offered to let us sit on the patio. It wasn’t until I snappped and asked for my $115 back did they find us seats.If you sell tickets you know how many people are attending.They let food bins completely run out before filling which lead to long lines. They also completely ran out of bread.Hope they pick someplace else next year.

I had a wedding to go to there 200 people at the reception I never stood in line for a drink. Excellent place to have a wedding.

I was here for a SPBA meeting so I can only talk about the banquet hall and service staff. One word: Outstanding. If you have an event I highly recommend Greate Bay. Their service staff know how to properly mill amongst the guests and offer hors doeuvres without being intrusive. The food served was phenomenal too!

Awesome classy place! Had my pops 70th bday party here Feb 2016. The family was able to decorate how we wanted. The buffet selection was sensible. Very pleased. Just went to my nieces wedding here Oct 2016 and once again the buffet was great. The bar was nice. Theres an outside deck for fresh air or smoke breaks. Nice area for DJ & dance floor. Loved it!
