Well I went in here for work we went to pick up a couple of pieces four exactly. The pieces were really nice some of the better artwork that we picked up over the past year. In all honesty I would put something like this in my home if it were a touch smaller. Im glad for a business theyre great they have a nice weight to them and theyre very attractive I even saw a few small pieces that I would consider for my new apartment but theyre a touch far away. But if youre in that area its worth a stop by and look and see if they have something that you might like.

Handmade custom frames made with real wood by an artist. Yes. These frames are a work of art. No corporate frame store can do what these artists do. Bring your precious moments, nature photos, or action shots to be set in the beauty that is the image.

Yael is an absolute pleasure to work with! Very inviting, professional and artistic space. I love how my piece came out and couldn’t recommend them more!

They are so artistic and friendly..

I recently received a gift from my husband from Once Upon a Frame, and I absolutely loved it. My hubby mentioned that the frame shop handpicked the frame to go along with the picture that he selected (one of our wedding photos), and he let me know that the whole experience from start to finish felt so comfortable, and the whole staff treated him like family. There is a reason this shop is so highly rated. This shop adds to the wonderful and charming small businesses that Solana Beach is known for, and you can bet this is one business we will continue to support for many years to come!

Awesome people, high quality craftsmanship, fairly priced.

Best frame shop in San Diego county.

Shop is committed to quality. Owner redid work when she noticed tiny, tiny stain on mar when I visited shop to pick up my picture. Yael also changed thickness and shade of mat to give my photo a better presentation. I have used them before and I shall use them again in the future.

Great talented team of wonderful people. They always do a better job than I could imagine. Above and beyond expectations in every aspect.

Very talented artists who frame your art like it was their own. Yael is a joy to work with.

The staff is knowledgeable about everything having to do with display, literally anything, and making it look better than imaged. I trust them with my most valuable art collection, old or new. They have a vast collection of European-to-local frames to choose from and turn-around time has been less than expected. This group goes beyond good customer service.

Very Friendly & Helpful, Masters at their custom framing craft ! ! 5 stars plus
