Bulldog Championship Park

Good place, i go here every so often to take a walk either as early as 6 am or around 7 pm. The morning is nice but in the late afternoon there are quite the amount of people, some were even wearing masks. Though i understand some wantrd the excersice like me, there were a couple of people just hanging about in their own small group. I feel it just needs a bit more precaution if this many people are going there. Also the turtles were nice.

Actually a very nice park! Soft grounds, BIG areas for kids to play, my boys love it here!! AND PLENTY OF POKÉMON GYMS AND POKÉ STOPS!!

Nice park with ducks and turtles swimming in a small pond. Wounderful for a short walk with a pup, they have a wounder play area for the children as well. Its always very well kept and clean.

Nice Park especially when it is actually open the water park is a real fun time for the younger kids

I really like this park, most sitting areas have shade and the pond is the nicest part of the park. My son loves to feed the ducks and look at the turtles and fish that swim around. Its got a nice little play area. You can also reserve the park for an event which has benches under a large canopy. I think you can fit at least 50 people. It also has a large parking area for you and your guest.

Beautiful park! Always pretty clean and calm. The little late is a nice little place to take a break if your taking advantage of the little sidewalks for exercise. Dog friendly as well. Just remember to keep your pooch on a leash. Great place!

Nice park with a pond that has plenty of turtles, ducks, and fish in it. Lots of walking space and shaded table areas to cook out. Splash pad is small but fun for the kids.

Its a beautiful place! The water park is convenient, and the park is amazing my 3 year old had so much fun. And the lake has friendly ducks and turtles! Amazing!!

Me, my son and his soccer team enjoy the color race or something like that, hehe, (I forget the name of the 5k race we did).

Nice and quiet. Good for family and pets. I was tired and able to take a quiet nap with the birds and few ducks nearby. Great for family walks and small outings or picnics.

As far as parks go, this one is definitely one of the best I’ve visited. Lots of walkways, lots of places to sit or picnic, decent restroom facilities and of course the ducks.

Great park for kids of all ages and adults. Clean overall. Has water park. Tables and chairs to have a picnic. My family and I have Easter every year in this park. It also has events a few times a year for everyone to attend.

Great place to bring the family. Spacious. Always an ice cream ready for the ppl. But this last visit made me sad. There was only three ducks, and a whole bunch of turtles. So much bread that was just floating. Poor things. What happened to the ducks???? Anyways, besides that it has always been a nice park to sit and relax. Good separation of playgrounds for smaller children as well.

Great park to take the family. Update: after reading another review that was posted 2 days before I posted mine it hit me. Where did all the ducks go to? Last time I went I must have seen more than a dozen. I think I only saw about 3 this time. And for being a Saturday, it was empty. There was only one other person with their little daughter there in which we met and became friends with but the place did look dead that day. We were waiting for the ice cream truck to show up too. It never did. Nice looking park though. We enjoyed it. Great easy accessible restrooms. Cute little lake and nice playground for the kids. Clean clutter and trash free. There always seems to be staff there taking care of the park.

So glad the miracle state baseball champs are so recognized. The park is very small & much more land would have been better. But, that is dealing with the politics of Socorro.

Great park, clean. Ducks are mean be ready to run as they will gang up on you.

Great playground, especially the slides. But the ground/floor is starting to fall apart. I noticed a hole under the bridge of playground covered by a safety cone. Well thats been there over a year. Thats wrong. Dont these parks have insurance to fix that?

This park has a little bit of everything and is very clean.

Its a very nice, well kept park. The facilities are usually clean, just like anywhere though some boys/men need to learn to aim or just sit down. Cant say anything about the womens room obviously. My kids Like to come here from time to time, its nicely spaced out jungle gym, walk areas and rest areas. My yougest loves the ducks. Quaint place as long as the weather allows it.

Great place to get together for an impromptu cookout. Kids had a fun time on the play sets. Cant wait until the splash pad opens at the end of May.

Love this little park.... There is always activities for the kids and its always clean. The bathrooms always work and the workers are friendly and respectful.

Nice place to go walk and take your kids to play in the playground or even go get wet on a hot day. The playground and water play area are seperated so you dont have to worry about your kids getting wet when u dont want them to.

This beautiful park reminds me of San Antonio the water features are amazing the park is clean and despite the ducks, no poop in sight.

Its a very fun place to go to jog around, take your dog and your kids to the playground and the splashzone. There is lots of parking and a stage where little events can be held.

I like the small pond and the shaded spary park area... The one thing is the playground is out in the open if temperatures are hot so are the slides

The Park is good for the walk but the lawn isnt properly taken care of

We love this park, kids always have a good time here. They love to feed the ducks. Its pretty awesome, they have 2 play areas a splash area a little pond with ducks and turtles a big field. Its just awesome

Love the playground and all the space on the field even in summer, they open up the water side of it. Perfect for performances, practices, or just a day to relax, they even allow pets

The pond has a large amount of turtles that swim, pop their heads up outta the water, or just sunbathing on the rocks. The water park is great for those hot El Paso days and the park is an added plus.

Being that its an older park now its great. The only complaint is that no one picks up their dogs poop and its everywhere.

This place is awesome always bring the kids here when they ask me to go to the park. It even has outlets all around in case you want to bring a radio for all you music or maybe even a jumping ball on. Very spacious.

It a great park lots of stuff for the kids to climb hop jump roller skate run jog walk ride your bike picnic ducks turtles birds water, drinking fountains the only draw back is no outdoor lighting once it gets dark, so if u get off work late and u want to go for a walk there you cant unless you bring a spot light, everything else awesome.

Came for the splash pad but they only turn it on the weekends, so the rest of the week it’s dry and way too hot to be there

The lake is what makes this park stand out. Its full of turtles, ducks, and geese. Theres also a water play area for kids to run around in, theres picnic tables and restrooms for parties, theres an open field with a stage for events, and theres a walk path around the park for people looking to take a stroll. Its comparatively small to other parks but it has a lot going on.

Nice park with a pond and fun playground. The splash pad was closed when I visited because it was still winter, but it looked fun and there is ample space to change in the family bathrooms. Stray dogs seem to hang out here though.

Awesome park, never expected the pond to be so nice, it has geese ducks and several species of turtles. Very clean, water park is great for small children to have a good time.

Not enough parking, small place, more a neighbor kind of little good looking place. Not a water park no water, too tiny for 38000 people that live in Socorro.

The best park ever

There is a lot to do here and plenty of friendly people around. My friends and I started a pickup game of football here and had others join in.

The park is great! The ducks and turtles even put on a show. Its a beautiful and perfect place to walk/ jog. Awesome space for picnics.The one thing that bothered me, a little, was the ice cream man that was parked there, was playing loud Mexican music. They should keep in mind, 1) not everyone likes that. 2) Sometimes people go there to relax, not be interrupted. But other than that, I love it.

My kids and I absolutely adore this park! We drive out of our way just to come to this park. Theres a small lake, splash pad, playground, bathrooms, gazebos, an amphitheatre type of area with a stage, plenty of grass, and a large gazebo type for parties or gatherings.If you havent been here yet, you must!

Park is a little on the dark side by 7:30ish. But has small pond and games for kids different ages.

I really like this park and so do my kids
