This is a good, well planned ball park. Plenty of parking. All of the fields came together in the center. Theres a tarp/shading material over the center area that offered some relief from the sun, foul balls and allowed quite a few fans to watch the game from there. We lost both games by 2 runs. But thats baseball. Still a good time.

This is such a great park for my babies. They have a sphere that my son loves. Fun for little ones and older kids.

Brand new playground and ball fields. Not busy, clean, beautiful. Easily the best little park in town. Edit : I love that the playground is fenced and has only one exit/entrance.

Great park. Really clean and nice. The concessions is ran very well. Score board seems to always work compared to other parks. Easy to get in and out. Fantastic playground.

Nice park with new facilities

I love this park because there is always something going on. They have baseball fields and a football field. The playground is great except there is no shade so in the summer come in the early morning or early evening.

Put more money in the building to make it equal the park behind it

Its not a real park where you can go play, no sidewalk system for just a walk because it felt like it is only a venue for sport games not people to use. All the fields are fenced off and although theres plenty of lighting youre not supposed to be in the park after sunset. Im new to the area and this was highly disappointing. This is not an open park for the people. Recreation Center is a better descriptor.

Great fields and Super Clean Bathrooms. DeKalb County get a mop broom & disinfectant clean the and do something to those raggedy fields yall have for us taxpayers to play on. Cmon Man!

Love the hockey rinks. Just wish there were more like SGAA. Many fond coaching memories there.

We play roller hockey here. Its great! They have a learn to skate night for kids who are interested in getting into roller hockey. Boys and girls are welcome

This place was CRAZY busy today. From what I could tell, there was a football tournament, baseball and softball tournaments and hockey tournaments. I think it was just a little too many activities, and the parking and restrooms could not handle the volume.The volunteers and the food were incredibly good, and the fields were in great shape. Ill visit again!

2nd time there, its a beautiful field but it would be nice to have dry seats when we get there or have awnings over the benches so you dont have to sit in the heat but I think its great

Lovely park. My kid loved the playground. Its in great condition.

Great walking paths around the numerous sports fields. Childrens play ground with tables/seating for the adults. There is also the ability to watch a few innings of softball or baseball.

Yes its a nice shiny new park and yes it was very worn. That old place had seen many young boys and girls come and go. Heartbreaking loses to heart stopping wins. It has a visual history of small town America thats now gone. Only the memories, if you were fortunate to have seen it and had that connection. My grandson played spring and fall ball at the old park for 11 or so years. Yep Rec ball!! Now is a COMET at South Gwinnett High on the Varsity team. One season left after this year but the friends, kids (now young men) coaches and sportsmanship found here, will forever be ours thanks to Tim Gaines. And the parents along the way allowed coaches to coach. We never had one problem in all those years. Enjoy the new park, but the battered, worn and tired SGAA did the job better than I think a new park can ever do! Progress moves on just as we all do. Batter up!!!

Very nice and clean. The park is new and the is a lot of space and courts for everything. There is also not so much traffic.

Beautiful new park in Gwinnett County, but they need to take better care of the dirt on the ball fields. Infield has obvious erosion from rain and dirt is very hard. Playground is great.

Its ok... Our first time here and we play in the far left field. Its a ways too the nearest bathroom. Park looks pretty clean. Bathrooms pretty good. Or first tournament here and there umps at the end of the game ready to get it over so theyre just calling crazy calls. No paper towels in bathroom air dry only in case that bothers you lol. Not a powdered place for me bit Ive been to way way worse. Its just not laisd out well at all.

Im impressed with the facelift! It used to be a real dump. Not anymore. The football field is impressive and though the baseball fields are not done, Im sure they will be top notch. Go Comets!

The newly refurbished park is fantastic. The fields, however, arent the best maintained of the Gwinnett County parks.

Its a small park, and there is not a whole lot to do there. It has walkways, a newly updated playground, and a football field. Other then that theres not much more to it.
