The course is in great shape for fall/winter and the greens are quick.

My husband had a wonderful time golfing here. I drive the cart. The gentleman behind the counter was really nice and helpful.

Nice staff. My father-in-law and I played a round here and won’t be coming back. The back 9 was practically a swamp. There were people just taking a leisurely stroll down the cart paths in the middle of our round as if they weren’t in our way. Course definitely needs some work. There are much nicer courses for a lot cheaper 15-20 minutes from here.

This is really a pristine course in the area and is probably the nicest course that is reasonably priced. They have really made some big changes to the course that have made it one of the nicest courses around. They have just renovated the sand bunkers with sand and they are well placed for you to worry about. The greens are like PGA tour greens they are green and very fast. The tee boxes are well kept and cut. The fairways are full and thick with green grass and it has not even hit summer yet. You need to come check out this course if you are looking for a challenge.

I was handled very unprofessionally. I called to inquire about booking an event and was place on an immediate hold for about 7 minutes. After the staff member finally came back to the phone, they asked what they could do to help then immediately hung up. I called back a second time and was hung up on again. Not a good first impression at all.

Not allowing individual riders in carts in this pandemic is a ridiculously MAGA inspired policy.

Course is in really good shape, nice test. Greens were just sanded, not punched, rolled really good. Good value. 1 cart person. Will be back

First time playing CC of Gwinnet. Service was good course was excellent shape for August.

Okay course. Greens were recently punched but not a word about it when I booked the tee time or when I checked in with the general manager. Full price was absurd. Poorly ran course.

CC of Gwinnett is well maintained and a great option if you dont mind a shorter golf course. The blues total around 5900 total yards but its not a course with a lot of dog legs and shorter landing areas off the tee. The greens are in great shape and are a highlight of the course. Bunkers are all in good shape, too

It was cool ! Went there for a friends birthday party and had a great time, spacious and clean . Definitely worth it

Dwight didn’t bother to tell me when I called to make a tee time that the bunkers were grown over and they had sanded the greens. Of course they didn’t discount the price any. $37 for a grown over, unmaintained course is too much. Also my buddy’s back was killing him and he said no rain checks if it not raining. We have played here for 20 years but we won’t be back.

Called in and I get “Can I help you?” Not worth my time going out if this is how they answer the phone. Rude!!!

Course is in great shape.

This is a great course, especially the twilight rate of $25. Its not too long, has challenging holes, and good greens. Only problem is the sand traps are almost 100% unkept and nearly all mudpits or rock hard. Thats the only negative.

Rented the event hall for luncheon Oct 27. Set up was taken care of as agreed. We were suggested some additions and were offered great rates. Water pitcher, serving spoons were arranged speedily on request. The guests and us had a delightful experience.

Excellent home prices for a well maintained country golf club

Played late September, 2017. First time there. Course was in pretty good shape. Had good growth where it matters. Greens were in good shape, but grainy so need to pay attention when reading putts. Also, greens are not flat so they present a nice challenge. Some interesting/unusual holes, especially tee shots. Didnt have course book or good hole layout, so be sure to drive up to view landing areas. Overall, very nice experience.

Nice course in Gwinnett County, serving both private members and the public. The staff is friendly and the course is well maintained. The holes trend on the shorter side, and are fairly friendly for beginners, but at busy times play might be slower. Layouts vary from straight to some nice blind approaches, and while water is present at various times, its not usually an issue.There are only a few amenities really, but those that are there nice enough. Driving range is paid buckets, with small practice greens for putting and chipping. Clubhouse is small but has all the basics, including a decent draft beer selection and a tasty buffalo chicken wrap.Overall a step up from most public courses but not quite a full service country club, still a nice place to spend a few hours.

Showed up Early for 1:10 Tee Time.Was asked too Tee off early large Group behind us. After buying range balls with No Offer to buy back balls.We started early. Walking off 1st Holes green was told they got a call for Slow Play. (1st Hole ) 1-Par 2-Bogies1- Double. Was asked to skip a Hole. So we did. Got too #3 Tee Box and Waited for the Foursome in Front Of is Too Tee Off and play the Par 3. We had plenty off time to play the Second Hole.Very Rude. Thanks For Spoiling a perfect Friday afternoon.Won’t BE BACK!!

Great course once new owners get food and beverage licenses. Cart paths need the seams ground down for smoother ride and some bunker work.i definitely wish i lived closer to this course.

Great people (staff) that are always greeting you with a positive attitude, very helpful. Great hours, course is always maintained and in tip-top shape. Course is well designed. Great membership rates with so many benefits. Country Club of Gwinnett is all around an awesome place to play golf!

I dont understand why anyone would give this semi-private club a bad review. The staff is nice, the food is good, and more importantly they course stays in good shape. Brand new greens, brand new carts and it is one of the best kept secrets in Gwinnett. For the money for a round of golf or a membership, you simply cannot beat it anywhere in town. The course is short, but it is challenging as there are not many flat lies, some undulating greens, and plenty of woods and water.

Very interesting layout with several holes that have blind shots. Advisable to drive up and look to see if anyone is within your ball range.

Pace of play was slow, very understandable. But when we asked if we could get a rain check so we could could come back tomorrow (and pay to play even more) the guy behind the counter said “I don’t care if it’s slow”........ very unreasonable

Nice staff, always friendly. I golf there regularly year-round, and the course is always in good shape! They have nice golf carts, nothing pricey. I love the Country Club Of Gwinnett, my favorite course, by far!

Fun golf course and more importantly one of the few courses close to home. Its always in good shape. Playing from the tips is a good test.

Very underrated course. Everyone talks about how nice cherokee is but really Id rather play Gwinnett. Their fairways are consistent, Greens are always in good shape, and for my style of play the overall layout is good.

With all the rain weve had lately. A lot of courses have standing water and mushy fairways. The opposite is true at country club of Gwinnett. The course drains well, the greens are fast and no standing water.

Had a wedding tour scheduled with Nick Albright. Upon arrival nick was serving drinks behind the bar and pointed to the venue location and said to have a look around and he would be with us in a few minutes. The wedding venue is totally unimpressive and in dire need of renovations, the flooring is horrible the deck is splintering plus faded and needs to be redone and the bathroom is reminiscent of school and prison stalls. We looked around, sat on the deck for a while, walked around the patio area in the back, made a phone call and still no nick. 15-20 minutes after our scheduled tour time, Nick failed to come properly greet us, show us around, give pricing info or any information at all. Not sure if it was a race issue, but it sure felt like. Needless to say due to the aged appearance and miserable customer service, we left.

Rude staff. Horrible course conditions. Food & drinks are 3x the price at other comparable clubs. Spend your money somewhere else.
