Great place only thing missing is a hot tub or spa for people who need heat on their legs and feet

Wonderful facility. Swimming, splash park, gym, track, weight room, tread mills, bikes, classes, banquet room, kids programs, and more. Very clean and orderly. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Not bad of a place. I was a bit disappointed as a veteran because the flag is ripped up from flapping against the building. Maybe move the flag pole... but please replace our American flag.

Friendly staff, very Covid 19 precautionary and my daughter is 3 could not be happier with her swim instructor Miss Morgan.

My family reunion was there this year. It was spacious and that made even better for all of us to just enjoy our family. I am thankful that my family chose this location.

We always love bringing our child here. The parks are relatively new and kept up well. The water park and pools are great for toddlers up to adults and even offer swimming lessons. Great for birthday parties or other gatherings. Just a great community vibe.

This is a great facility!! We honesty would purchase a membership and come for the toddler classes if it wasnt always so cold. Its miserable taking the kids to swim because they keep the pool area to cold to ever adjust, literally have cold bumps the whole time. I cant seem to push myself to stay long because of it. I talked to the front about it but they will not change it and everyone I know that had been there has said the same thing. Maybe one day they will take peoples concerns about the pool temp and we will come back.

County owned, indoor swimming pool, basketball, and racket ball. Outdoor baseball, soccer fields and kids play area. Not expensive to join. Very clean and well maintained. Offers classes in different crafts like sculpting. Swimming lessons and indoor kids play pool. You wouldnt even know it existed because of its location.

It is a great place for the whole family

Great support from staff. Helped decorate and a attend a wedding reception. The location of the venue and the kitchen was perfect. The caterer had access to a food Warner, refrigerator for large quantities of food, prep and storage areas. The restrooms were clean adjacent to the reception room. It was nearly 115 guest. The arrangement was spacious and set-up for dancing was available. The space was well used without overcrowding. They had a candy bar, DJ area and cake area. Everyone had a great time.

Its a wonderful facility for families. The staff is always friendly and helpful. There are a variety of activities. The kids enjoy the pool and the splash park. If youre looking for a particular activity its best to call in advance. Sometimes the pool or basketball courts are unavailable for members due to school activities but they give notice for upcoming events.

Very cool place! We came for a birthday party and had so much fun, my kids didnt want to leave! Wish we lived closer, we would definitely visit more often.

Great park with multiple play areas. Awesome tennis courts, ball fields, walking paths, and basketball courts. The kids love this park.

Today they had the pool party which was great. They had snacks for the kids and decorations.

Great place to take the whole family. I love taking the girls to the indoor splash park and pool. When its time for some cardio, my youngest daughter enjoys the complimentary childcare. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

Great place for the family, clean, awesome playgrounds for all ages and for kids with special needs, awesome indoor pool once again very clean, kids pool is only 2ft deep so its great for toddlers to learn, locker room and showers, racket ball court, Indoor track around a nice basketball court, weight room gym, as well as lots of classes for Zumba. Thank you Smithfield for putting the money into a great place for recreation.

We love it here. Being a homeschooling family, we enjoy being able to come during the day while everyone is at school! The facility is always clean and its well maintained.

Been going here for a few years. The staff at the front desk are awesome, Gail & Tonya go out of their way to take care of you. Its a good place to exercise, do one of many fitness classes, swim or join in the aquatic classes. You might even meet a friend or two while youre there. Check it out.

The chlorine is way to strong. I realize it is needed but it was hard to breath.

I assisted one of my students for a birthday party that she was coordinating. Very nice facility. Large event kitchen. I want to go back to take my kids swimming as they have an indoor pool.

Not a member but use the outdoor facilities almost daily, have played basketball inside on more than a handful of occasions and the staff seem split down the middle of not caring and very nice. Most often i use the outdoor basketball courts, me and my friends love to play out there at night. The only complaint i have with the outdoor courts is that there are no rules or regulations on how long a group of people can play a game and sometimes it is hard to get a court to use if you arent there at five oclock in the afternoon when all the kids show up to play

The childrens section of the pool was fun. My two year old really enjoyed it.

If you dont pay for their membership its like your a nobody I was in the gym one time and this guy had his shirt off because he was dieing after a work out couldnt even breathe and this staff member came in it was a male I understand people have problems out side of work but this is his job treat others the way you want to be treated he just barged in and HEY put your shirt back on a simple Excuse me sir could you put your shirt back on your breaking our policy on shirtless bodys wouldve done it then he proceeded to curse on his way out after a conversation with the coach and I think I heard a stereotypical comment Im not sure dont take my word for it he mumbled it on his way out like 10 feet away from me. Another time I needed to use the outlet to charge my phone enough to call my mom to pick me up and the guy that drives the yellow Jeep I know he runs the place or something but he told me I needed a membership to sit on the benches outside and use the outlet OUTSIDE What in the world man I dont know what it is I know there are good people in this establishment but its always the ugly ones on the inside that have to act like the world is theirs you can lose anything just as fast as you earned it or got it I know that was a bold statement but I despise remembering these events. But not a bad place its a great place to get in do what you need and get out plus like I said some staff members are nice I really appreciate them.

Great facility! The indoor pool is wonderful and the staff were very friendly and helpful! The pool is heated and there is a splash pad area for children. The locker rooms were very clean. Nice indoor walking track as well. Had a great time!

I come to SRAC for Pottey Classes! We are so fortunate to have a pottery program in our area and I absolutely ADORE our teacher, Kristin!The facility is nice, lots of activity always going on! Staff is great! A really cool place! 5-Stars!

Its a nice place . We had our Davis Family Reunion here and everyone enjoyed themselves. From playing basketball, swimming, and even walking the track.The large kitchen was a necessity for the food we serve. I recommend this place for nice Family Function.

We love the Aquatic Center. The splash park is amazing for kids. We have held a birthday party there for the past 3 years. They never disappoint!

This place is located in Smithfield North Carolina it is part of the Smithfield High School grounds it is a small Park that has a playground picnic area in basketball court outside and an aquarium and large swimming pool inside the center

My daughter and I love the splash pad, we have so much fun. Kind of expensive though. Also wish they offered gift certificates.

Fun place for a birthday. Clean locker rooms, the kids play area has a bunch of neat water features & is almost as big (not deep) as a normal pool. The pool is large & there is a basketball goal, a small inflatable slide, wipeout style lily pads & nice lanes & large seating area. There is also a gym with several basketball goals & who knows what else, we just played in the swim areas.

Not nearly enough weight lifting machines. There is a large free weight room but the narcissists love to hang out in the upstairs room with the machines so unless you go in the middle of the day expect a lot of competition for machines by guys doing endless sets then staring at themselves in the mirror. Yes its just as creepy as it sounds. Two stars are for the Zumba class with Pretz. Shes great. If you want less kids and more access to machines you might try Health Quest.

I love the staff and the gym all together. Very friendly atmosphere and I definitely would reccomend this gym to all. Kid friendly

Family fun all year round.

We go here to walk or play on the playground. The play areas are great, well maintained, and lots of fun.

Our karate tournament was hosted here today. Very clean, organized, and the space was a good size for the event. Enough parking and easy to find!

Place is really cool if you live in Smithfield. Gym, track, massive pool and splash pad for the kids. The one down side is the pool closes at like 8pm I am on the outer edge of joco so its a rush to get some laps in after work.

Great place tons of places to walk around or just do whatever. Take your bike, take your board, take your kids.

Poorly maintained. Not a good place to host any AAU Basketball tournaments. Floors were slippery and worn. Needed new surfacing.

The splash pad was great for my 3 toddler grandkids + 2 infants needing extra attention. The staff at check-in were really nice & accommodating. The 2 drawbacks I found were the layout of the pool entrance was a negative. From the front door one has to walk quite a ways around the square hallway to get to the pool. Pool exit is very convenient leading right to front desk. The 2nd negative I found was that the flooring of the splash pad bottom is bumpy concrete. 2 grandkids got toes/elbows scraped just by swimming in there. We arent members but we ate locals. We didnt know to ask for facility towels at the front desk so we ended up sharing 3 towels among 5 kids & 3 adults. A big + is that there was a lifeguard on duty.

This is a full fitness facility. The staff are friendly, courteous, and professional. It is a great place to get into shape and have fun doing it.

Find place to take the kids. Indoor splash pad is a lot fun for many different ages. My only reasoning for 4 stars was the price. As a non resident it is $11 per person to utilize the pool. I found that very steep.

Not bad for the area it has everything that a rec center should have! Just not the best facility in technology and space. It has basketball courts, a small indoor track, a indoor pool, and a work out room. But that is about it for the facility.

This is a wonderful park and recreation area. Excellent facilities and location. My family really enjoyed playing softball on the fields.

Threw away whole pizzas and our left over cake! Lady was rude. Had 1 hour for birthday and lay came in 15 minutes ofour time and told us to clean up!! My granddaughters had their birthday party here and it was horrible!!

Everything about it is nice but some of the staff horrible me and my brother where denied access even though im 20 and my brother is 15 and Ive seen kids much younger than 12 running around without parents and in the policies says anyone under 12 cant come in without parent or guardian. defiantly not going back here again

Nice clean recreation center with a huge outside playground. We take swim class there with Alligator Steps and use the splash pad afterwards. Daily admission seems pricey.

I play basktball here a lot and its fun, clean, and usually not that busy but on the weekends there are events that can cut into your gym time

My son does swim here. Clean Facitilty and nice people. Wish Garner or clayton had something like this.
