A hidden gem in the north part of Chicago! We brought our bikes and biked along the biking trail - very enjoyable afternoon. Sculptures were done by many different artists, so we could enjoy different styles and appreciate the variety of messages the artists tried to convey. Not many people even in a sunny day, making it a very tranquil place to enjoy a weekend afternoon. A good place for families and friends to picnic too!
It was calm and beautiful nice for taking a walk and just enjoying nature.
Fun place for a walk or picnic. Good Covid get away. Never too crowded.
Beautifully creative sculptures sprinkled along a lush green park on the Skokie-Evanston border! Great bike trails and areas for exercise, strolling, or just enjoying nature!
Nature, art and Frolf! One of the best places on the outskirts of the city to visit!
Always a great place to visit, nice area with porta potties and great sculputers.
Great day to enjoy this park. Lots of people walk, bike, run etc. through the path and there are tables and chairs for people to eat. Picked us up some Jollibee which is on Touhy.
Beautiful and tranquil with river on one side and McCormick st on the other. There are small car parking all along the length of the park. There are porta pottys instead of traditional restrooms for the visitors convenience .
Perfect place to reflect and relax...
Its really relaxing and they have a wonderful bike trail.
Very interesting and nice place to relax and enjoy the weather.
Best location anywhere for pokemon go! Gotta catch em all!!!
This park has nice running and riding trails. Very pleasant
Its a nice area, always clean.
Need to refill your Pokemon Go inventory or walk your dog? This is the perfect place for both. Free parking. Not crowded. Safe.
Not a lot of parking, but great paths for walking or biking. :)
Beautiful and peaceful setting
Very relaxing environment for a walk, biking and running.
Easy access, but adjacent to a busy street. Good place to walk your dog if youre nearby and running short on time.
Great park to walk or bike through. Lots of benches even some table to eat. Please be respectful and dont litter. Enjoy nature and all the great works on display.
Park is nice clean and safe
This is the best place to teach/learn to roller blade or ride a bike. The Art works set against the trees, brilliant in autumn, silent in January & blooming in spring. People who use the bike path are great but keep clear of people who hang out in the parking lots, be aware south of Howard after hours, when you leave the park. Your pets can hydrate on the path North of the park in the Summertime outside of the Evanston Park District kayak rental office before you reach the bird sanctuary.
My husband and I walk on this path every morning live it
I attended a tour of the sculptures in the park the area also has great natural beauty and bike and waking paths
Google insists that Ive been here but the terrible truth is that I only drive by it...every day. So it looks nice and is very pleasant to pass by while driving to work. Seems like most people walking here are having a good time but who can say. Perhaps Ill give it a try eventually.
Sculptures are added periodically but its a nice pathway to run, walk or ride your bike on especially when the weather is nice.
Chilled for lunch wit My, Wife
Nice place for a walk or picnic. Tables provided
Sacred fun retro modern feel a must.
What a great collection of outdoor art! Theres nothing like it The path goes down a very long path, always clean and well maintained, lots of big trees for shade and benches to sit on. Great place to go for a bike ride, walk the dog or just a stroll. There are a couple Porta pottys in the middle of the trail by the parking lot, and some picnic benches
This is a lovely afternoon walk, with interesting sculptures. My one request would be for more information on the works, perhaps even an online guide.
This park has pretty good Greenery
Unique sculptures and a great bike/walking path
Very nice, with lots of benches. We old folks appreciate benches.
LoveDriving down McCormick enjoy the unique sculptures
Amazing place! Walking paths, bike paths plenty for all. Beautiful sculptures and for the kids, tons of PokeStops, gyms and more.
A great place for an exciting bike ride and viewing art and nature. Bring a picnic and just relax.
Great place for a walk/bike ride/picnic.
Beautiful during the peak fall season.
What a lovely place to spend a sunny afternoon at with lots of interesting and thoughtful pieces of modern sculpture to enjoy and plenty of path to share with other parkgoers.Parking is small, which can be a hassle when theres a lot of folks as can happen on a nice weekend. Also, be careful as the park runs along a major road and one cuts it in half, so if traffic disturbs your calm, this may not be ideal for you.
Lots of gyms and pokestops
Good park with bike path. Runs 2 miles? along the river from Devon to McCormick. The sculptures are ok too. This is the local mecca for Pokémon players. Look out for Community Day. Once a month 100s of players will jam the paths on Saturday or Sunday for 3 hrs.
Always nice here for a walk run chill bike ride the sculptures are awesome.
Best Skokie Park Sculpture.
Its so peaceful and I live close to it
Great place to go for a walk with my dogs.
This is a great place to take a walk. The park is a small strip of land that spans several blocks with a large sculpture every half block or so. They also have a couple of Port-a-potties halfway through its length. The path is shared by bicyclers, so walking your dog is safer if you stay on the grass. Human-only for traffic is a little easier to maneuver as long as you maintain alertness.
Great for a morning stroll.
Great place to walk and bike.
A relaxing journey with art and nature.
Play pokemon, run, bike, scoot, enjoy the art, theres nothing that could be wrong.Yes there is.The trash. Its everywhere and completely noticable and disgusting. Along 7 miles of this trail, you could probably make a small landfill. Someone from the city should come and clean it up.
Chillie spot for biking
Its a nice place to walk when its nice outside!
Awesome place to get out play Pokemon go
Nice exercise
Great place for a walk. Park is sandwiched between McCormick Blvd and the Skokie Lagoon and goes for a couple of miles. There are parking lots at a few locations along its length. The park has lots of interesting sculptures to look at sprinkled throughout it as well as some really nice willow trees, etc. While you can also bike or roller blade the path, its not the best for those activities because there are a number of cross streets and the total path length is relatively short for things like a bike ride.
A very beautiful park that has a vast variety of sculptures. It is a nice place for long walks, jogs, or bike rides! The park offers free parking and scheduled tours to learn about the sculptures.
Best area for a walk or run in summer.
Absolutely love to come here when I go for a run! Side walk is a little bumpy but that doesnt bother me!
The bike/walking trail is very bumpy and uneven in some spots. The Village of Skokie should consider fixing it. Just watch where are walking or biking -- particularly older people -- and enjoy the sculptures.
Some of the best contemporary art around
Visiting MD office. Parking is fine here
A treasure between Skokie and Evanston. Nice for a walk or even just driving by them
Not the place to bring a dog to walk. Only section D and E are dog friendly. What is the point of this trail? Also dog park is nicely fenced in and comes with high fees. I wont be back.
Open and relax during day light hours.
Nice park to walk or ride a bike along the river. Stop along the Trailway and have a picnic on a sunny day. Very peaceful !
I love it
Love art love this park when Im out for a stroll
My favorite spot to unwind and relax!!
Great place for Pokestops and Gyms but not so great for spawns.
There are some great sculptures here. Fair warning some of them are not kid appropriate but still a great place to take a walk.
Nice
Great park with parking, walking / bike paths criss-crossing and interesting sculptures.
Its a great gem tucked on the side of the road. It was a nice place to walk and see some really awsome sculpture and take some time to enjoy the outdoors.
A nice place to walk around. The sculptures are contemporary. Bike path is well maintained. The park is a bit close to a main noisy street.
So relaxing
Nice jogging path.
Great park
Clean, well maintained walkways with interesting sculptures and sitting areas along the way. I deducted a star because the disc golf course is a bit too close to a busy road.
Great sceneries and atmosphere for people to walk and ride bikes.
This is a Great Place, During the warm months, There a plenty of Cyclist, Walkers and Runners
A gorgeous surprising artscape. We need more places like this everywhere
When riding my bike through this area, there are a million zig-zags. It gets a little annoying after a while, however, the view is very nice. Also, sculptures are placed in the park where people are able to see them nicely
I love this park its perfect for playing ingress.
The sculpture park is a great to walk through and is always maintained clean.
Nice scenery from the bike trails
Full of nature. Could use a public bathroom instead of porta potties. And no water fountain.
