7 mile (one way) out and back, moderately strenuous only because of the scree at the last ~1200 feet. The shelter at the 4 mile mark would be a fantastic place to stay as it provided firewood and has a stove, and it’d allow you to spend more time on the summit. Saw a bear from afar and plenty of wild flowers and slugs up close.
