Sherman Park

I walk through this park to get a peace of mind by enjoying the scene while listening to music...

This park has the potential to be a great park again. However, the Parks & Rec department has decided to stop mowing much of the park. Now you cant walk through areas that, for years, were well kept and mowed.Im for preservation of Prairie grass, but city parks are not the place for it.

Good place to eat at the picnic tables an a park for the kids to play. They have restrooms as well.

One of the nicer softball complexes we have been to. With each cluster of fields having individual concession/restrooms made the it even better.... especially with the covid thing atm.

Stopped here during a cross-country drive to allow my pup some time to stretch his legs and let loose. Extremely clean with plenty of parking and big enough fields to not have to worry about my dog venturing too far from me.

Nice park! Sports, kids toy and a battle ship memorial all located next to the zoo. How do beet that?Grab the family and friends and enjoy yourselves!

An amazing facility for ball! With 9 well manicured fields, this ball park is a great place for tournaments. Each field has 3 covered spectator seating areas with bleacher seating and an electronic scoreboard. Bathrooms, which are centrally located, are clean and easy to access via the sidewalk system throughout the park. A concessions area is available during tournaments near the bathrooms. There are also covered picnic areas throughout the park.

One of my favorite parks in the area! Ice skating available with warming house, playground, trails, dogs allowed, nice bathrooms, picnic tables.

Very interesting but the building was not open due to off season.

Now thats a softball complex! Canopies over the plentiful seating areas, water bottle refill stations, concession stands everywhere you turn. I would call this an ideal facility for softball and baseball.

The shade over the bleachers was a great improvement since ive been there last. It is a well maintained park. The parking lot is easy to get in and out of.

I love this park. It is one of my favorite parks. The U.S.S. SOUTH DAKOTA memorial. The Sioux Falls Zoo. The top of the park with the Native mounds.

Awesome USS South Dakota exhibit. Which there were public restrooms, but the display was nice for the family.

The park is ok, went there for my kids softball game. The facilities are pretty good and the upkeep is decent

The fields, battleship and other structures were absolutely amazing. ... However, the reason I was here was good a softball tournament. (Denny Redman Memorial Tournament). This tournament was unorganized and horribly ran. So that Is the reason for the three stars, but as I said the infrastructure and maintanence of the facilities were very nice.

Beautiful park in Central Sioux Falls... nice playground, picnic shelter, Native American burial mounds bring a bit of history to the sight. Amazing sunset viewing if you get there at the right time...

Easy access, clean restrooms, well kept fields...it was raining and the hangings over the stands helped keep friends and family dry to enjoy the games!

Super simple park. It needs a bathroom closer to the grassy area where the soccer field is.

Great USS South Dakota Battleship museum. Great way to spend a couple of hours. Very interesting relics and personal memorabilia. Would definitely go back.

Fun park for the whole family. The Sioux Falls Zoo, softball diamonds, and battleship memorial are all in walking distance on a nice day.

Loved it

Ice should have been resurfaced at least once in the past 48 hours before a weekend. The warning house is warm though it needs to be updated or rebuilt. Warming house staff are friendly.

Huge park with a lot to do...indian burial grounds...and a zoo and battleship to boot. Not to mention softball fields and a river.
