Sioux Falls Canaries

Great field, great team. Im really glad they went and changed their name back to the Canaries because the Pheasants was a dumb change. Its a great field with great sight lines. The designers really did an amazing job. Sioux Falls is lucky to have a team like this.

Great sightlines of the field. Close to the action. Fun atmosphere. Ample parking. Handicap accessible entrance, parking, seating. Walkways and isles never crowded. Kid friendly. Not a great selection of food, but food does taste decent for ballpark food. For an older ballpark that is planned to be replaced soon it isnt that bad. The scoreboard is bad. I have no experience with the suites. The seats are comfortable. Location near airport, rental cars, hotels, and convention center. Within a few minutes drive of downtown, or interstate highways. Other than the s scoreboard and small stadium size, it is better than a few major league parks in my opinion. The crowds are generally small to medium. You definitely get great value for your money.

I give it a 3 star cause while the social distancing was attempted to be enforced it really wasnt that well. But hey they made an effort

Easy parking...adhered to social distancing with seating. Beautiful fireworks after the Friday game. Great seats and ticket prices were reasonable. Would definitely go back!!

Excellent sunday afternoon for a baseball game. While other states have canceled fans from watching live baseball or Great Governor Kristi Noem allows us to enjoy a picture perfect sunday afternoon watching baseball. Thank you South Dakota. Oh please dont pet our buffalo ! Lol

The stadium needs a little updating but its a great place for a fun family outing, and some live baseball! The chicken strips basket has generous portions and theres ice cream or shaved ice booths for a cool treat.

Good place to watch professional baseball, fair concessions at a good price. Staff and Animations group are top notch. We visited this park in late July 2019 and watching a game streamed last night reminded me of how great time we had. Being from out of town we had to get our tickets at the box office and that got us to chatting with some of the front office staff. Wouldnt you know it at the game they found a way to treat us special.We also came early enough for warm ups and my kids were able to chat with a few of the players about the life in pro baseball player as well as technical tips. We did tour the food and other concessions and and I would say this park is about average for AA independant baseball with prices being a bit lower than some of the bigger centres.What really made this visit for me was how we were treated and the excitement that was conveyed around the game.

The facility is welcoming and the parking is right in front of the entrance. Friendly staff and easy access all around the park. Stadium could be updated.

Absolutely wonderful time. The park is clean and they are doing a great job of social distancing while still having folks feel like they are a part of the event.

Great atmosphere, the team isnt usually the best but there fun the watch anyway.

Theyre doing a great job with social distancing and setting things up gor people to stay safe, while stil having fun at the ballpark. The hodogs are as good as any ballpark and I really enjoyed the shaved ice, too.

We were visiting Sioux Falls from Atlanta in August 2016. We didnt have plans to visit the Canaries, but a staff member at our hotel gave us some tickets that he couldnt make use of so we went to a game. We had so much fun, it was a really friendly family place.

This is a great facility to watch some local baseball. Seats are comfortable and the antics between innings are fun to watch.

Very underrated experience for local entertainment. Friendly staff, security, ticket personnel, interns etc. Quality baseball every night, prices very reasonable on everything. Duell, the GM has always been very kind to my son, who goes after every foul ball. Casey, the entertainment coordinator is very good at what she does, her smile and positive energy is contagious. Great place to bring your family out even for those who are not necessarily huge baseball fans.

Always a great time at the game. Beer was cold and the burger was good. Wish they had more afternoon weekday games.

Went to the game friday night with my parents. My parents need extra help getting around and the staff were AMAZING! Was a Great Night. Thank you to the SF Canaries organizations for being FIRST CLASS

The kids really enjoyed the game. Many options for food. Lots of personal attention by cagey. And the team players seemed generous when meeting with the kids for autographs.

Really enjoyed the baseball game. Nice to go out and relax with a couple of beers from the excellent Beerman downstairs. Always fun.

The night was nice little hot and humid but with the wind blowing was not bad, the canaries did loose. The fireworks was awesome, they put on a amazing show was way longer than I thought it would be.

Great night for baseball!

As someone who enjoys baseball games at every level from the majors to college summer ball, this experience was not fun at all. First of all, the tickets I ordered were not the tickets I received. The only option to obtain your tickets online is at Will Call, there is no print at home option. Like...what? So they can give you a free upgrade? Im not sure if it was simply the wrong tickets or if they did some sort of manipulation of where they wanted the fans to sit, but I did NOT want to sit first row in the lower section. Those are the worst seats in sports. I picked upper deck for a reason. Ive attached a picture of the pair of seats that I ordered.To add insult to injury, our seats were already occupied by a large group of fans from the visiting team. While investigating what was even going on with the section and tickets I didnt order, an older incredibly awful woman screamed at my girlfriend, who was not even looking at her or giving her any attention, Nope! Not here. These arent your seats! This is season ticket holders! And made a dismissive hand gesture. This woman was one of the rudest and most horrible people Ive ever met. To be so disrespectful to someone who wasnt even looking at you is just incredible. Hate to break it to you, lady, but we definitely had seats in that section. Instead we chose to sit in seats close to where I originally ordered in the upper section, to not have to be in proximity to such an awful human being.The energy from the PA was lame. During one of the promotions, a group of kids began to jump on, punch and horse collar tackle a mascot to the ground on the walk way. This wasnt a planned promotion done on the field for fun as security had to step in and pull kids off the mascot. Another example of awful types who go to these games.Not. Fun.PS for canaries employees, your season ticket holder in the top row of J is seriously a rotten person. Shes horrible for your brand. Do yourselves a favor and revoke her seats.

Love the canaries, but our ballpark need work, cleaning and just a little tender loving care. Someone at the canaries needs to pretend they care. Clean the bathrooms, clean around the condiment area, water the flowers. Just a little attention and it would be nice ballpark

First and for most, I love the caranies. Ive been going to games for years, I was a bat boy once, and I remember running out to the YMCA song countless times. The event the is canaries baseball is so fun and a simon-pure experience for pretty much anybody.So why 4 stars then?Because it has been the same routine since I was a small one. Not the baseball portion obviously, but the antics around it. They still do the ymca, they still do the chicken race. I just think an update is in order is all.

Fun night of local baseball, snacks good size and fair price. Only downside the uncontrolled kids shooting and running up and down seat rows and stairs.

I love it, is cheese but that what I like for the family. It was a great game cant say, I wasnt satisfied with it at all. I definitely be back for more activity and fun. The food stands are great an not to price, and its a beautiful view

Great time

So much fun at this AAA ballpark in Sioux Falls. Lots of silliness between innings with mascots, games for kids, music, and giveaways. Regular ballpark food plus finger foods in our suite. Staff is intuitive and eager to please. (Bonus points for mini corndogs and Stella!)

Beer and food is way over priced. The game action is slow and not too exciting. The tickets are cheap and its easy to move to better seats because they dont come close to selling out.

Great fun family friendly place

My kids had a fantastic time. My little guy had missed going with the other Make a Wish kids. This made up for it. Can even signed a ball for each of them.

Our first ever Canaries experience and it was wonderful! Beautiful weather to enjoy a good baseball game in a nice venue.

Ballpark is dated. Bench seats uncomfortable. Team is typically not very good. Food underwhelming and overpriced.

I love baseball, professional or otherwise. The Canaries were on a five game winning streak until the game I attended. Their mascot is Cagey (#00), a 68 canary reminiscent of Big Bird. There is also Peep (#1/2!), a smaller version, that I did not see that night. People were friendly, and the token heckler was in fine form!

I love the game, need more crowd interaction other them just behind home plate and the lower levels. A bit pricey but not much beats a ball park hotdog and drink.
