Wonderful theater with an excellent orchestra! Sioux Symphony offer high quality Programs every season. I love to play with them! Wonderful people and nice musicians!

Gorgeous building and decor. I enjoy coming to shows held at this venue. The orchestra does a great job. Definitely a place to just visit and see the beauty if youre in town.

Very nice venue, not incredibly large, but not small either. Seemed to have good views from any seat. Lobby area is definitely crowded for sold out shows, but they had several places to get drinks, so the lines went pretty quick. Prices were pretty reasonable in comparison to other concerts Ive attended.

What are the most beautiful venues in the Midwest. This is an absolute gem of a theater and well run by a group of people who care very much for this historic landmark. One of the fun facts you should know about the theater is they still have working payphones in the lobby areas. It was so fun to see these! The management does an incredible job of keeping their website up-to-date and you can always buy tickets from the Orpheum website so that is very handy. Overall a great venue and always a fun place to catch a show.

My daughter and I came here to see the Sioux City Symphony play music to The Nightmare before Christmas! It was awesome! Symphony was fabulous! This was my first time seeing the symphony, my daughters second time. The Orpheum Theatre is very cool, we loved it!

We had tickets to see a surprise tour stop by the Lumineers a while back. It was our first time ever seeing a show or concert here and we ended up being blown away by the beauty, art, and acoustics. I would go as far as to say that it felt as if we were transported into another world, a bygone era, when we walked through the entry doors. We thoroughly enjoyed the show and the venue and would love to return.

Stunning theater! Love this place even more with each visit. If you appreciate historical ambiance, this is the place for you. Oh, and the show was great too!

I have been to this venue twice this year and have been so impressed with it. The first time was for Mom So Hard Tour so although it was amazing it wasnt a concert. So when I go with friends last night to see the Goo Goo Dolls I found out that the audio in this place is ridiculously awesome! Clean establishment and bathrooms which are a plus for sure!! Ive only been on the lower level but it there really is no bad seat in there!

Today I had the pleasure of taking my 4th grade class to perform with the Sioux City Symphony Orchestra. I simply cant express how much this meant to the whole class. Thank you to all of you who made this possible.

Main floor seats. Stage filled with symphony & band musicians. Amazing sound. Raucus audience. Laser light show was mesmerizing.

The Sioux City Orpheum was a great place for the event. REO Speedwagon was a lot of fun to see. Not a bad seat in the house to watch the cocert

A great place to see live shows. The building its is something special to take in. Its a must see inside. I have seen about 12 shows there over the years.

Beautiful historic theater that always has good shows

Pretty cool. Had big rooms and nice lights. Not gonna lie the carpet was pretty repetitive and boring though.

Love how the place is restored . Reminds me of the decor on the inside of the Titanic. Sound is good inside. Seats are pretty close together though. Waited 15 min in line for a drink, but bartender friendly and drinks made well!

Saw Something Rotten here. Excellent, hilarious show, in a beautiful facility. Every seat has a great view. Park in the parking garage and take the skyway over - it saves time and is super convenient and reasonable ($3, free on weekends)

Symphony holiday concert was a hit!

A unique environment that makes you feel like you are stepping back in time 100 years ago. My church does Christmas there every year and the staff couldnt be more accommodating. Only real criticism would be parking. They have a pretty accommodating ramp just to the east of the building, however. Overall excellent.

Went to see Nightmare Before Christmas. And half the screen was blocked from the upstairs. Music was great though. Wish there was a disclaimer on the tickets.

We love it so beautiful so elegant really makes u feel good 2 walk thru the door makes u feel like u r spending a grand evening in NYC its a little piece of Broadway right here in Sioux City its really fun we love all the holiday parties & celebrations & fun cool S.C Symphony concerts quite pricey but good deals every season esp The Haunted Orpheum that is very cool & all the fun cool Symphony concerts & every year on November 30rd we always go 2 the free showing of Its A Wonderful Life its 1 of r yearly traditions & a late birthday present 2 myself ;)) so bravo every1 4 the reopen & renovations great friendly staff as well great memories made here its another gem of Siouxland

Wonderful acoustics...music surrounds the listener with dramatic sense of being within the performance.

The atmosphere and acoustics are phenomenal. The only drawback are the locations of the bathrooms.

This is a phenomenal venue. The remodeling of the old theater is amazing. There is character in these old buildings. Well worth a visit just to see the architectural details.The staff is amazing and friendly.

Beautiful building. The architecture is fantastic and the history that goes with it is educational. Its always an enjoyment attending events here.

The symphony always gives a wonderful performance.

The Winter Christmas concert was incredible!

They have spent Millions on this theater. It is absolutely gorgeous. They seem to have spared no expense and it Rivals most theaters I have seen in New York City. And they have lots of events for a wide range of Interest. I went and saw the Moscow ballet. This is something that Sioux City should really be proud of.

They really treat you like royalty! Def going back!

Overall the Orpheum is there very nice theater. With it being built almost 100 years ago it has held up well. My only complaint comes with the seating. I’m 6 foot tall and normal build. For me to sit in the chairs my knees are touching the chair in front of me. I have been to several shows and each seat was just as uncomfortable as the next. I know it would be difficult to redo seating, but I feel like it would be a plus. If your under 6 foot tall you will not have a problem. If your 6’5” or more, I’m sorry! Back to the shows, they have been bringing in some high quality shows and I hope they continue to do so. I’ll attend every Broadway show that I can get to.

Orpheum theater is the best for any event. Everyone is nice and courteous. Just wish on some events that drinks are allowed inside the theater.

A very nice old place that has been kept up so well. It is like new but is very old. A joy to have been in this place.

An incredible restoration!

Astounding. I remember when they did the remodel. They took a theater that was falling down and turned it into a world class landmark. This is a showpiece of historical restoration. The venue itself is worth the price of admission, but the shows they bring to town are outstanding. This is definitely something Sioux Citians should be proud of

Daniel Tiger LIVE was so much fun for adults also!! Orpheum Theater just adds so much to the experience. So Beautiful, everywhere you look something amazing and historical to admire!! Children just cant get over how big and beautiful Orpheum Theater IS!!

Absolutely beautiful place!! Ive been here several times. Acoustics are wonderful and the seats are placed perfectly. Drinks always have incredibly long lines and they are pricey. Will call is always a crazy zoo. Be sure to read the restrictions that they have about what you can and cannot bring in. There is a limit to the size of bags you can bring. Otherwise, sit back and enjoy the show in a very upscale looking, grand place!

The Orpheum is a beautiful venue. A great place for parties, weddings and graduations. The shows and the symphony are a a lot of fun and a great way to spend a weekend evening!

Absolutely breathtaking and beautiful venue with its crimson carpeting and seats, a magnificent grand staircase and several crystal chandeliers including the Grand Chandelier in the main theater. Has excellent acoustics for performances. Always a delight to attend a theater production or musical performance here. The theatre inclines or slopes downward, so seeing over the heads of those in front is not typically problematic. Any visit would not be fully complete without a visit to the very grand womens bathroom on the lower level with its brass/gold swan fixtures! Simply magical!!

The acoustics in the auditorium are so incredible. We have been many times and have been able to see the stage clearly from any seat.

Really nice place with lots of history. I went to see a concert and I could not find a bad seat in the place. The acoustics were great. The seats were very comfortable and it was just a wonderful experience to sit there and listen.

Beautifully restored theater that is a landmark in Sioux City. Offers a variety of events all year long. Not a bad seat in the house! The downstairs restrooms are elegantly decorated and the many chandeliers are delightful to behold. Home to the Sioux City Symphony.
