Its always good to revisit skate history and trip down memory lane. Being able to buy boards/parts in person is nice too in this era of disappearing skate shops.Staff is super friendly and helpful.Great selection of boards and memorabilia on display.
This place is great! So much skate history, a constantly stocked skate shop, and great ramps for a pleasant skate session. Todd loves skateboarding and it shows in what he’s done here.
Skateboarding saved my soul many times over, so grateful for the opportunity to flow that shred every skater knows and better love if they know anything about real.. most rad of all the physical arts.
Love it! Very nostalgic and really hits the feels for people who grew up skating in the 90s and saw the evolution of skating. The park has boards from the 40s up to present day. There are old videos when 411VM was big and a library of old skateboard magazines. There is a miniramp and a few other things to skate where there is a charge for. Visiting the place is free. I think they could have a little more self promotion gear for sale but I did get a tee. Its also a shop of you need a new board or setup. Its a NFP so go support it!
My mom requested to visit the skateboard museum just prior to her passing. It brought her back to her glory days. It was wonderful to see her face light up. Thank you.
The real deal, skateboard history on display, and helping the next generation grow. thank you!
Cool place but they wont allow scooters at the skatepark. When are scooters and skateboarders going to be the same. I just wanted to feel accepted in the community as a scooter rider.UPDATE: I wasnt trying to be rude I just think that you should allow other sports besides skateboards. Many parks have changed and allow bikes, blades, and scooters and some have certain days for different sports. I understand its a skateboarding museum but people could appreciate skateboards and the museum more by welcoming other sports.Im sorry of I offended you or anything but your reply was pretty unprofessional and could of been better handled.
Finally a place where skating is not banned by stereotypical mall security everywhere. Can REALLY appreciate the thought of someone having that in mind. As a parent of a skater THANKS! My kid & I will be visiting frequently.
The staff is amazing. Patient with kids. They offer classes and sell skateboards. They have really good service.
Wonderful owners that care about the kids while keeping the environment safe. My son LOVES this place!
Its an awesome place, they really have an amazing collection, and the owner gives great tours.
My 10 year old researched this museum. We are from St. Louis, MO. This became a top priority for him. We arrived 30 minutes before closing and Todd Hubber stayed open an extra 30 minutes! Thanks so much for making my sons dream come true. Great display of boards and lots of unique examples of boards throughout the history of skateboarding. Thanks Todd!
Eye popping and head spinning collection of skateboards from the very beginning of nailing roller skate wheels to boards. Todd Huber is an amazing guy filling the space with wonderful things of skate. Tours and Skateboard classes also available. Go see for yourself!
A nice addition to Simi Valley. A beautiful collection of skateboards and related stuff. Passionate, dedicated staff. A must see place for skateboard enthusiastics. Enjoyed watching the Simi Valley mall humming with kids just because of this place yesterday. This is a great place for kids too to hang out and have fun.
A great place to visit! Tons of classic boards and photos of skaters. Welcoming staff, great environment. Theres a half pipe, quarter pipe, a rail and a box to skate. Its across from the Vans store.
Its by far the most complete skateboarding Museum in existence. I must see if youre in the Los Angeles area.
Its a hall of fame with all sorts of cool boards.
Freaking awesome place! The skateboarding history here is insane. A must stop if you are in town. Heck, make a special trip just for it.
Awesome place to visit if your into skating at all!
Not open on Monday or Tuesday, the only two days my son and I were able to go.
This place is really awesome
Great people, Great place,
Weird hours
Skateboard HOF is a must see if you are a Skateboarder from the 50’s thru 80’s and even more current. Great old boards, old merchandise to see.A little out of the way, but worth your time.Ask for Todd (not me :-)). He might be able to give you a tour.I had a great time.I’m sure the skatepark is also nice, but I did not skate.
Old school skate shop and museum is awesome
