Its up to Regal Simi Valley Civic Center & IMAX Standards, which is means its pretty stellar. Plus the infamous Dome is here. Cant beat that! Wouldve gotten five stars if the flick itself started on time!

I have always loved coming to this theater especially as a child. I love the mini arcade, the great snacks, the comfortable seating and the kind employees. I am never disappointed after coming here.

Good Theater with best seating arrangement and sound

Pretty good theater, Ive been several times its clean and fast. The lines are short you get right in. The snack bar has beer and wine. The seats fully recline and theyre motorized lots of space. As with all things Simi the parking is a bit tight but if you go around the side its better.

Great time, good food, great movie! Loved the Rocketman miniature poster!

Watching a movie here was really nice. the seats are very comfortable and can be changed to a lying position. also the space concept is very good. even small people can watch the movie without getting distracted by the front person. the screen is big and the sound very good

Lovely, comfortable theater(s) with reclining seats. I wish the seats had a tray table but not enough to reduce a star. 4 stars instead of 5 because if youre under 53 then the bars between rows obstruct your view, especially if you recline. The emergency aisle lights are BRIGHT. Not a problem for some seats but annoying in others. Overall the experience is 4+ stars. Love the renovation and relaxed atmosphere.

Had a very nice time at your theatre. Comfortable seating, excellent projection and sound, and a Good Movie (Knives Out). The food was excellent too...(moderate price). Attendants were there to take care of our concerns (coffee not hot, mistake on bill, ...). We will be back.OOPS...forget that...wrong theater...we were at the Grill. (sorry)

Great customer service and food and drinks and snacks for the whole family and friends. The popcorn was not hot and I could not eat it. I even asked for fresh and was told it was just pop at the 910 PM Jjumajji movie!!

Nice place. First time there. Great seating - reclining stadium seating. Even though a very full theater, it was not a problem. Very clean and easy access and parking.

Great theater. Great seats. The best. Clean restroom. Didnt have any food or drink.

Seating is recliner sound is excellent video is excellent I have a pass and use it at this theater instead of the theater closest to my house because I always thought it has been a better experience. But I am very upset that the decision was made to change to Pepsi products . Guess I won’t be spending my money at the snack bar anymore!!!!

Nice, clean movie theater. Comfortable seats, friendly employees.

Movie presentation was great. Buying tickets online was fine, but they use some kind of phone app to scan you in, which the employee was having a heck of a time getting to work. The same thing happened at the Regal Cinemas in Everett, Washington. They need a better system for checking in folks whove purchased their tickets online. Also, there was no one behind the counter at the snack bar - we had to wait a few minutes for someone to show up. Love the comfortable recliners in the theater.

Sean is awesome. Great time at the movies with friends. Comfortable seating and clean facility.

Decent theater with comfortable recliner seats. The concession stands operate efficiently as well. Parking can be a pain though

Took 25 mins in line to get tickets with only 3 parties in front of us. Didnt help that there were only 2 people working and they had to do both concessions and tickets. They also stated that refills would not be given due to corona but did not offer any alternatives like a discount or another cup/bucket for the refill. Also if Corona is such a big concern why were none of the 2 workers wearing gloves/mask but yet still handling food, drinks, and money. Also, it was over $100 for a family of 5 to get tickets, popcorn, and drinks. Very disappointed in the service and prices. Will not be returning to this location.

Great seats, busy but things move quickly. You enjoy the movie because people are doing what they went there to do... watch the movie!

Great theaters, friendly and helpful staff. It would be nice if they would serve healthier food options.

X I love this movie theater lot of great memories with my girlfriend and a lot of great memories and never forget and never forget those times that were great and amazing Im also reading a book that this movie theaters included inside of Im only on chapter 7 and the reason I like this movie theaters because of how well its maintained how clean it is the movie theaters and how they clean the seats and how they make sure no ones going to come inside of the movie theater to do anything shady while youre watching a movie you can feel at peace while you watch a movie that is being presented by it a star Film Production

Nice theatre, friendly staff. Good choices at snack bar (they even have alcohol), but expensive, and slow service.Reclining seats are great, the new normal in stadium seating... I suppose if youre going to pay all the money to see a movie, might as well be in a seat like your own living room...

I really enjoy the new Cinema with the cumfy chairs and service

The reclining seats are really nice, but they need to update the size of their IMAX screen. The IMAX here is like a regular screen in other theaters. But they charge full price for IMAX screening.

Our usual theater in Simi. The gf and I like going here as opposed to SMG since all the seats recline. Saw Doctor Sleep and it was great. Only negative was that there was nobody manning the box office so we bought our tickets through the app. Then when we walked in, there was no podium for somebody to take/scan your tickets. We were able to walk in and up to the concession stand with no resistance. Somebody could easily take advantage and could see a movie without buying.

4 stars. Normally I would give 5 because I love the seats and the staff is always nice. However I’ve noticed a decline in the maintenance of the theatre. The bathrooms have not been maintained regularly and smells of it, as well as how it looks. Also the concession space for butter, condiments etc had spills and sticky places. I hope this review helps management assign “clean-up” schedules more regular. ️

The movie house is comfortable with lounge chairs. Food choices are numerous and popcorn in all sizes ... your choice should fill you up. Sodas, ice tea, and other drinks available. Seating g area clean and good choice of movie choices.

Comfortable reclining seats with plenty of leg room. Nice venue for movies. There are lots of fast restaurants in the complex for quick bite before/after the show, and of course a Starbucks next door...

Love this place :) been coming here for years and it never disappoints, great movies, good food, great service, perfect place to come and chill with a good flick

The chairs are so comfortable and the theatre is very clean. The staff behind the counters all very nice and kept the line moving fast.

We only watch movies in comfy recliner seats! I also found out that this theater serves booze, including a coke slush with a shot of your choice of liquor (rum, whiskey...)

I wanted to call in with a question before seeing a movie there, and at their main 800 number I was given the direct number to the theater. Option 3 supposedly gets you to a live attendant, but I tried calling several times and no one picked up! I guess I wont be going there.Update: they finally picked up! So, Ill update my rating, and if all goes well seeing the movie, Ill update it again. They claimed that they dint know that one of their lines was down...2nd update: We ended up having a good time. The seats were great! Still leaving one star off because of the difficulty I had getting a hold of the attendant when I called. After they told me they would pick up when I call again, once again I had to call 20 times before someone finally picked up. I had to call because I was planning a family trip to the theater and I wasnt sure their power was on due to the nearby fire.

Reclining chairs were ok, but you couldnt recline fully without the railing in front of you being in the way of the screen. Neither armrest raised to be closer together on date night. We could hear audio from the movie playing on the adjacent screen. Bathroom was in bad shape (large pool on the floor that was not water).

While it isnt the best movie theater out there, it is the best in terms of value. You get a lot for your money. You get leather reclining seats, good snacks, the latest movies, and a well kept theater. I love the app because you can choose your seats ahead of time and buy tickets. I go there with friends all the time and never had a problem

Good seats to watch a movie and there theatre arent overcrowded.

Firstly, Jake at the box office was very helpful and saved us money. Please hire more employees like him! Compared to Valencia and Canyon Country, this theatre was a bit nicer and somewhat cleaner; the large theatre seating was very comfortable and the restrooms were very accommodating and clean. One can tell that this is a very well managed theatre with employees who seem to enjoy their jobs. Thank you for a nice evening out at the movies.

We rarely go to the movies but it’s nice to goto a theater that is clean with comfortable reclining seats. The theater is quickly accessible just off the 118 freeway with easy parking. Paying for the tickets was also easy with short lines. Popcorn was freshly made. Bathrooms were clean. Overall a very nice theater in a good, safe, family oriented neighborhood.

Just a super nice movie theatre with all the fixings. Great shopping center /location

Nice theater, great comfortable seats. Necessary for a long show like Star Wars.

After renovations and new reclining chairs. Love it

Saw jamanji 3d was amazing idk why there is barely any shows in 3d theres one showing a day, I would absolutely go see more 3d movies if there were more showings for 3d!!

Oh my gosh! I dont know whether to love or hate this place... just kidding! I absolutely love this movie theater since they remodeled, the seats recline completely and are comfortable enough to fall asleep in this stuff is nice theaters are clean, dont have any complaints!

Super comfy plush seating! Prices are decent for tickets. Food is insanely expensive and the popcorn is meh. Weve been a few times in the last few months and it always tastes like days old popcorn.

The parking lot needs repaving, but the movie facilities are good.

Theyve done a good job here. Really comfy lean back feet up chairs, plenty of room. Clean, efficient. This is a good one.

Love their theaters, reclining seats and you get to pick where you want to sit at no extra charge. Concessions were good and customer service was great. Will return

Nice recliners. Sound quality & video quality was exceptional. On Tuesdays the price is almost half for reward members so it is even better.

The theater has reclinig chairs that are so comfortable, if you are tired and the movie is not all you expected it to be you can easily take a nap. There is plenty of walking space between the seats & the next row, its kept clean and everyone respects the seating selections.

Awesome movie theater and many places to eat and drink and for shopping

The reclining seats are very relaxing. The staff greets you with a smile and are ready to help and assist you. Love going to Regal cinema on Tapo Canyon road in Simi Valley.

Love the revamped theatres. Daytime prices with a regal card are very affordable. Concession stand prices are exorbitant, but any theatre is the same.

I had not been to a movie in a while and made sure that I brought my coat to act as a back pillow. Wow was I surprised when we went to our seats. It must have cost a small fortune to get the incredible padded reclining chairs and to redesign the entire interior. No more having to stand up to let people get to their seats. No more being upset if a tall person sat in front of me. Also the sound and heating were perfect. I did notice that the bathrooms were a little neglected as far as paper on the floor and the Regal sign was missing a letter that should have been lit up. But other than that it was a perfect evening out !!

Comfy reclining seats and awesome sound quality!

The employees clearly hate their lives. Theyre always clipped and rude. They also clearly dont care about the cleanliness of their theater. Last movie I saw, there were buckets of popcorn, trash wrappers, and drinks left on several seats in my row. It doesnt help that tickets are slightly more than newer, nicer theaters.Since they upgraded their seating several years back, I can say that it is a significantly more comfortable viewing experience. This is why theyre getting 2 stars instead of 1.

Nice clean theatre with reclining seats!Snacks, beer and wine too!

Love this movie theater- since the recent remodel it has been a great pleasure. Excellent reclining seats, huge spacious rows, reserved seats, a much better food and alcohol. By far the best.

Just fine. I enjoy this theater. The chairs are comfortable, the staff is very friendly and the concession stand is good.

So the regular theaters have reclining seats and the IMAX DOES NOT have reclining seats!!!So you pay $7+ more to seat in chair that are less comfortable than the regular theaters. Here is my question, since only 1-5 people buy the IMAX tickets per showing, WHY NOT take out 2-3 rows and put reclining seats instead? So perhaps more people buy IMAX tickets when they see reclining chairs.Last time buying IMAX tickets here.

Staff was very attentive and helpful, from choosing a movie to choosing concessions. Theater was clean and well maintained. Reclining seats were comfortable. We drove out of the way to try this theater, well be back.

Did watch Indian film Lucifer. Good small theater, with extra spacious recliner seats. However sound system is just below average. Lots of loudness, but lacks quality. Total seating capacity may be just around 50 - 60.

Movie was great and the seats are awesome!! The counter person was a young man.. didnt catch his name.. and he was quite rude! I grew up in Simi and customer service when I was a teenager was way better than what it is today! Too bad because having a rude person selling you popcorn can really ruin a fun visit!

Comfy seats, great customer service. Would recommend.

Comfy seats & great snack selection

Love the roominess of the seats. My grand daughter and I dont go to any other theatre but Regal. Also love the rewards and points!

Its difficult to actually find anything overtly wrong with this theater. By all looks and feels its a nice Regal. They work hard to keep it clean. I even noticed that their pricing for meal offerings were comparable to that of fast food establishments. The quality isnt as good but the prices are about the same. Soda is ridiculously expensive. But my real issue has to do with the competency of their ticket booth staff. I have a Service Dog and at least 90% of the time I have to get the Managers permission to buy a ticket for the handicap area. Its the only place in the entire theater that allows my SD to lay down and not be in the way. If they can correct this policy or training issue they would be a 5 star theater.

This is a nice local theater. Comfortable, close to the freeway with plenty of parking. Staff is friendly and very accommodating.

Very nice theaters, reserved seating.... the same feeling as watching a movie at home just a bigger TV screen.

Clean and comfortable experience. As with all theatres over priced concessions

The concert on the patio deck of the restaurants was wonderful. Simi Valley is such a great community.

Bad service and response at the food and drinks... Serves alcohol but they dont have keys to unlock draft pump. Clean and good theater though

Reclining seats were great. Good value if you dont upgrade to IMAX. $8 surcharge.

Best theater Im town cause the seats recline

Its been a while since I visited A Nice relaxing theater. The seats are great the sound even better. But the #1 thing was there Manager because my wife and I are disabled with kids. So he was able to help us out around the theater. I happened to loose his name but I remember he was of Asian decent the guy was great help. We will be back soon for the movie and Food

The movie Toy Story was nice...the theater was clean and the employees were friendly. The snacks were tastey and warm. We enjoyed our stay...thx..

We always enjoy the show here.

Nice, clean, comfortable seats, pricey eats, get tickets at costco to save money.

Should give some snacks free with bulk ticket purchase

In a great location next to plenty of food choice within the same plaza. Very clean, usually not too crowded and the reclining seats that allows you to practically lay flat while eating popcorn/snacks and a drink together make a perfect harmony. If youve movies as much as I do, I strongly suggest this Movie Theater.

Well kept theaters. We saw the upside which was a great movie! Friendly staff who knew what they were doing. Like any typical movie theater the concession stand is pricy. Other than that everything was great!

The seats recline and are very wide. Super comfortable theater. Not many seats per theater, which allows more space between rows. Even with the footrests completely raised, there is still space to walk by. We love this theater

Saw Aladdin in 3D Imax movie here! Great venue, clean, not too crowded. The only thing I would wish for is reclining seats with foot rest.

This place is amazing. I was able to sit back and watch the movie and total chill action. I cant believe the seats recline so much. I had so much fun just looking up and seeing everything that was going on in the movie. Of course I could have also been the movie experience itself. Also the service was great and everyone was so nice to me. I loved it and I will go back

Always fresh, hot popcorn. Great reclining seats everywhere. Most comfortable seats in the Simi area. Plan a day or so ahead if you can and reserve the seats you want. With reserved seats, no need to show up super early anymore.

Nice, big screens with comfortable reclining couches. Great place to stop by and watch a movie with friends and family

Concession were good and the seats were very comfortable. The surround was nice but not a strain on the ears. Great theater and not too expensive either.

Fun comfy and decent pricing. The reclining seats are awesome. However.... The light on the end of the aisle was waaay too bright and just burning into your peripheral if you sit on the end.

New seats ...very comfortable. Please, Can you put Wi-Fi... I will love to check myself in Google maps with all the pictures that I wanna shareHappy Saturday birthday celebrationIMAX 3DThor RagnarokPS:thank you for the limited edition cards!!!

This theater is guilty of racial profiling, discrimination, and misandry. Only Male Caucasians are being subjected to security searches. Had a terrible, humiliating, and highly embarrassing situation at this theater. I had been at this theater 4 -5 times in just a few week span and was NEVER asked to be searched. Suddenly I have become a terrorist. Thanks Regal Cinema in Simi Valley. If this was truly for security purposes, then EVERYONE should be searched. And you should employ actual security people, instead of having the ticket taker employing these tactics. And I would recommend a metal scanner. And perhaps a notice outside alerting customers that they may be subject to being searched. I have NO PROBLEM with being searched. But to be racially profiled, told that only white males are subject to being searched because Its mostly white males who commit the mass shootings. There was no manager who came to try and quell the situation. Thanks for the splendid time Regal.

Nice, spacious seating. Lobby is a decent throwback to traditional cinemas. Price is ehh.

Very nice seating since the renovation. Good selection of movies, amazing IMAX, a bit pricey.

Love the prices!!! And no reserve seats, just sit where you want.

Pleasantly surprised. Very comfy seats. Clean theater. And my kid sat through the movie!

Comfy power seats. Great sound. Reserved seating. Tasty popcorn. Will go again soon.

The seats which recline are very comfortable. The Tuesday movie price is $6.75.

This is the 2nd time weve gone there on Christmas. I think its a great tradition. We get there early so we have Enough time to enjoy a latte.

We sat in the 3rd row closest to the screen and it wasnt bad at all not too close, was a nice view and sounded great.

IMAX, reclining seats, roomy, clean, tasty hot dogs and snacks. There is a pizza joint next door a TGI Fridays near by and other eateries, good place to go.

Simi Valley has a little gem in the Regal Theater. Sometimes parking is a hassle. Too much butter (or some substitute ) on the popcorn, although they will volunteer to bake up a less salty, less buttery batch. Prices for the munchies are way too high. Admission is the usual prices, although they do have some specials on certain days and a couple of bucks off for seniors.

Used to work here and can honestly say that this theater has come a long way. Since the opening of Studio Movie Grill, Regal has stepped up its game by adding fully integrated digital projection, reserved seating, and leather recliners. What used to be larger stadium-seating theaters have been replaced with less populated theaters with ultra-comfortable recliners. Even better ones than Studio Movie Grill! Theyve also improved a lot of the bathrooms and upholstery in the theatre. While they dont offer full meals like Studio Movie Grill, Id still recommend Regal!

One of the best movie theaters in Simi valley, they have nice staff and most of the theater has recliner to the execption of there iMax showings.

Great time and cool air. Nice recliner chairs.
