Beautiful place, awesome hiking, plus dog friendly... A plus.

While there, take the nature walk, it is about 3/4 mile in length and is a gentle hike with lots of flora, and a few critters here and there. The pond has various aquatic life, and the ranch house (enter through back door) is interesting.In the building there a lots of pictures of the history of the ranch. There are also placards of the history of the families that owned the ranch, but did NOT live on the ranch, strange!Up the road from the turnoff to the Brown Canyon Ranch are Ramsey Canyon Preserve, 27 E Ramsey Canyon Rd, Hereford, AZ 85615, the Ramsey Canyon Inn, and the Arizona Folklore Preserve, 56 E Folklore Trail, Hereford, AZ 85615 (Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays).
