The designers made excellent use of this scrubby piece of land. Fun & free.
Love this park just wish they would move baskets around. Been the same layout for years
Nice little course, needs new T-pads, new flags marking baskets but fun.
So glad to have this course in town. It is a treasure for Sierra Vista. Many thanks to the enthusiasts that keep it in good shape.
Course has 360 photo-sphere photos (like Google Street View...) starting at Tee Pad #1, moving through the holes/course every 100 feet, and ending at Basket #6. To access the mini virtual tour click on the Google maps photos section of this web-page and click (or tap...) on the 360 photo at the top. Navigate through the course by clicking the digital arrows on the ground. Be sure to look around at each location to orient yourself. ^_^If you are using a computer then click on the Pegman to see all the photo-sphere locations (look like blue marbles...) overlaid on the Google map. Click on any location to enter the Street View.
Nice park, standard disc golf fare. This course has a lot of out and back holes that are obscured by bushes and other desert plants. Still a fun place to play.
So much fun, very open and the people you meet are soo friendly.
Its a cool little disc park, well maintained and located in a central area easy to access. Plenty of parking.
I was running cross country and it was pretty cool.
A novice level 18 basket course with mostly straight fairways and very little obstacles. The rough is mesquite trees and tall grass. Be sure to have a bright disc as its easy to lose sight of it behind shrubs or in brush. Be sure to get a pic of the map near the entrance (west end by the street). The set up is zig-zaggy but can be counter-intuitive at parts and the baskets are not always visible due to mesquite trees.
This course may hold the record for smallest area in which to stick 18 baskets.. it is impossible to play off a tee without playing into two or three other Fairways. This is fine if youre the only one on the course, which I was. Everything is a straight shot, with lots of low trees and brush as obstacles. It is the only course within an hour and a half drive, so it serves its purpose.
Good course. 18 holes. Compact.
Needs new mats and flags redone other then that great course
We were out enjoying the Christmas Parade
Course is great! Would be nice if there was a place to buy discs in this town!
Short mesquite trees littered around the course offer slight challenge. All dirt course with carpet tee pads. Carpet makes for a slippery pad, most people tee off from beside pad. Very easy course. No distance drivers necessary.
This course is great for beginners and amateurs. This is one of the two courses in cochise county, 2nd course is located on Ft. Huachuca, which is a mini course for kids, juniors and the elderly.A.V. Anderson baskets are tight on some holes, tight like within 45ft from one another. Theres a map to explain the course at the entrance of the parking lot, we are located off of 7th street, South of Fry and Wilcox. Look to the left hand side about 1/4 mile past circle K. Yellow poles indicate parking lot. If youve passed Foothills, youve gone to far...A.V. Anderson has 1 elevated basket (#2), also a mando (#15). We have a friendly tag competition among us locals and are always looking for new players to join. Hope to see you out there!
It was really special! 420
Bring your own refreshments. No amenities whatever.
Upkeep is a little lacking. Unfortunately its placed right next to a high voltage substation; fortunately you most likely wont be throwing in that direction (although it does collect frisbees from time to time.)
My Sons love it
Too many weeds!
Excessive exercise, Im a beast!!
Good birdie course.
Amazing ! ! !
Fun
A challenging course, with lots of mesquite trees and other plant growth which makes it difficult in many case to even see the goals from the lauchpads. You spend about half your time looking for your discs in the weeds, and one I never found at all. This course is kind of poorly laid out and not maintained well. Plus its in Sierra Vista, in the back side of beyond.
Small course. Lots of places your disc can get stuck/lost but they keep the place looking decent.
Fun course
