Love coming to this location! Great history and enough space to do many things!

I take my 9 yo son here a lot. We play tennis in the racquetball court, run the indoor track around the top of the gym, swim in the pool, and enjoy the hot tub and steam room. The building was built in the 1920 in an old Spanish villa style. Its an AWESOME place!!! We like this place a lot better than the new Y. The new Y doesnt have a hot tub, steam room, or towels.

Staff always nice. Equipment is very old but aside from that, its generally quiet and relaxing place to workout

The YMCA downtown Shreveport is a older building with a lot of character with a great weight room! If your trying to get cut or bulk up I would highly recommend (it no gimmicks) . Members have acess to clean towels, hot coffee, steam rooms, pool, whirlpool, and a massive locker room. Crew and members are very friendly.

One of the pictures they have is the actual place. The one that shows the outside. The pool is inside not outside. The front counter does not look like that. Its a nice place but very wrongly iliatrate in the few pictures.

Old school vibe meets modern fitness.

Need to keep pool open all day when y is open.......to confusing to guess when it is or isnt open for people who depend on it

I got a membership to have somewhere to swim laps but the life guards are always late! Waited 30 mins today before i finally left.
