Stadium was nice. Had alot of vendor options. My issue is there was no handicap parking. They told me to drop my husband off at the front gate and then go park.

Great tradition. Should be a family tradition for any true football fans in the Shreveport/Bossier area. Always a fun atmosphere.

I was at Independence Stadium looking for the Holiday In Dixie Treasure. I really wished before our great city adds another event venue to our area they would consider employing the still standing, perfectly good venues we already have. What I’m trying to say is, “Why wasn’t Holiday In Dixie celebrated at the fairgrounds like it used to be?” There’s plenty of room, it’s easy to find and it used to be tradition. It made me sad to look at Independence Stadium and the surrounding fairgrounds because it was all so abandoned and desolate. Let’s put our City back to work people!! Not just the people either people!!!

The event was good. It was great having the food trucks there offering more than concession stands. The field looked great this year. Awesome Walk Ons sponsored. The only part was Shreveport plan on trying to get people out of there. That was the most messed up plan on trying to get in and out I have ever seen.

Just passed through an old favorite bowl gathering of good Ole Miss friends...HOTTY TODDY.

We drove all the way from the Orlando area to support the Florida State Seminoles. We congratulate them on their win, and thank Coach Haggins for all he did. As for the Stadium,..it, and the surrounding parking lot and grounds seemed old and in need of repair. The ramps in the stadium are too steep, and the 2nd story corridor is cut-off by a fence that impedes walking completely around that floor. We had to enter the stadium seat area, go down, and back up, then over to our seats in the newer end-zone nearest I-20. I then had to go back down to the 1st floor, to get to a restroom, via a (truly) dark stairwell. (My husband went later, and said they were putting makeshift lights in the stairwell.) When we first arrived, my husband went on to find our seats, while I went to the restroom. When I came out, not one person could tell me where our seats were. I literally guessed and fortunately was right. There was no sign with our section number. My personal suggestion would be for them to go and observe newer stadiums, tear this one down, and build a whole new one. If you build it, they will come.Having said all this, I enjoyed the time with my husband, and supporting Florida State in their win over Southern Miss.

Super nice venue for football or sports games! Very nice remodeling done to extend the once faltering life of a great stadium. We just need more games and people to come support our area games more often.

The only football game worth attending in Shreveport/Bossier.

Not a bad stadium for the fans but bad for the TV crew. No house cabling and a tiny two-tiered booth.

Clubhouse is great setting for parties.

A Shreveport tradition. The history here is incredible...from LA Tech-NSU to the Snow Bowl...you cant beat it!

It doesnt have much in the way of amenities but its easy to get into by taking the shuttle and getting to concessions wasnt that hard

Bathrooms were actually clean. I was here for the Alepha Tav conference. It was a packed house. Traffic issues getting out of parking lot was a breeze.

This year I finally realized how out dated our stadium is. Ive shared many experiences and have had many memories made around this stadium. This time I noticed small things that never stuck out before like the bathroom facilities. There are small with lines that stretch a mile long. No heat once inside which is a big deal when your at an Independence bowl game and the weather is traditionally horrible on which even day it is played. The big thing was that everything was CASH ONLY! That is a huge deal. I cant imagine how much money was lost due to the fact that people couldnt pay $3 for a 10oz hot chocolate because all they brought was their debit/CC. Beer sales were surely down as well. Of course Ill go back again because I support ALL bowl games but geez guys, catch up with the times.
