A hidden gem!! You are buying from the owner who actually fly fishes! Its just like stepping into a fly shop in Bozeman, Montana as far as the personal attention, advice and knowledge you will get. The owner took an hour to show my 13 year old son some tips and tricks to tying flys, then just gave them to him. We bought several items from him and will definitely pass up Bass Pro to come here next time. What a find!

This is the best place to buy fly fishing equipment in the Shreveport/Bossier area. The prices are extremely reasonable and the staff is knowledgable. If you tie flies, this shop has pretty much anything you could want at an excellent price.I gave 4 out of 5 stars because the gear selection is limited to the brands carried by the shop. They deal in TFO rods, Korkers boots, and Aquaz wading equipment. That said, the owner can order and is willing to order gear for you if he is a vendor for that company.They carry good products and can get you on the water. I believe they also offer fly casting lessons. If you want to learn to fly fish, this is your best bet in the area.

Great fly fishing store and Howard is willing to share his time and skills with his customers. Some shops are just that, a place to buy supplies. This shop has a feeling like a place that welcomes you and helps you increase your knowledge of fly fishing.

Fly shops are hard to find here in Louisiana and this one is a gem.. I was blow away at all the fly tying items and gear for sale at this location!
