This course apparently doesn’t want money. Turned my business away at 4. Would have payed for 18 holes to play 9 and the guy says no

Im happy to see that they are trying to revive this once great little course. The greens were a little slow and bumpy, but I can tell they are working hard to make improvements. Always a fun layout. Not overly long but plenty of pines will get you if you start to get sideways off the tee. The 2 nines are quite different, given that they were built 2 decades apart. But that adds to the charm of the place. The back is much more spaced out as it runs through the neighborhood. #7 is quite a unique hole as you have to contend with the lake on your tee shot and second shot. Id love to see the condition of the course return to its glory days.

I live in the community but thats not the big reason I joined there! To put it simple and to the point it is the best thing that our area has going for it when it comes to enjoying your time away from the grind! Everyone you come in contact with is just great. Staffing, The community around it, All the golfers seem like they are on holiday and not in the fast lane.

Always fun! Sunday lunch is good home cooking and Footballs nights are fun.Excellent bar staff!

The people need to have there numbers on there house are in the front yard where you can see it at Night.

Great place for golf or Sunday lunch!

I went to Northwood Hills Golf Course last Saturday and had a great time. The staff was polite and the course was in very good shape for this early in the season. A challenging layout. A real fun relaxed course to play.

With some of the most friendly people at any golf course you will find, only the course itself out does its staff. Plenty of tees for all skill levels and always in great shape. With plenty of amenities like its sleek bar and lodge style lounge area plus more. Northwoods is the best for the price nd more.

Improvements are occurring slowly but surely and Calvin in pro shop always helpful and friendly to all.

Golfing here is a real treat. The people are friendly and the greens are gorgeous.

A beautiful course that has many tournaments and events throughout the year. Great restaurant and bar area.

Went last saturday, the staff was very friendly. i enjoyed the course. the sandtraps are over grown but other than that it was great. i will be going back soon

Northwood Hills a cool place to play

A friend of mine went to Northwood Hills Country Club to play a round of golf using a Groupon that he purchased several months ago. Got to the door and saw a sign that said that they no longer accepted Groupons. At the counter the guy said that they would not honor the Groupon (which he paid 33 dollars for). My friend told the guy what he thought, pointed out that there was NO ONE playing on the course, and that he felt that he dishonoring it would costs him much more than honoring it....The attendant held his position...My friend left (and will NEVER return)..Stay away from Northwood Hills....bad business practices there......

The course was great and the fellow golfers were polite, but the green master was rude and insulting. He approached my father and I on the course and accused us of hitting multiple times, taking multiple shots, and holding up other golfers which was absolutely untrue.The truth is that we started golfing, let a group of 4 gentlemen play through, and then stayed right behind those four gentlemen for all 18 holes. We would wait for them to get the the green before teeing off and then waited for them to finish on the green before advancing close to them. We had a mutual understanding with these gentlemen that we were all here to enjoy a recreational round of Saturday morning golf. The green-master did not give us the courtesy of defending ourselves and ignored our statements to the contrary. He said several groups have quit because of us and said we should try the driving range because theres no time to learn on the course. He was very insulting and condescending and I absolutely do not appreciate that treatment.This was a Fathers Day gift for my dad and I was really disappointed that a 2 minute conversation sullied our entire experience.
