Its a park that seems largely dedicated to sports, having tennis courts and a basketball court plenty of baseball diamonds, and a hockey rink in the winter. The playground is modest. Theres a grill and table available near the playground. Outhouses are available.

Tennis courts, basket ball courts, and a fun, wood-chipped playground with toddler area, swings, bouncing toys, saucer swing, large climbing play equipment, rope cube climber, and sitting merry-go-round. We love Wilson Park!

Love this park. Its got a great hockey rink that doubles as a dog park in the spring, summer, and fall.

A great little park that’s usually not too busy. A new in 2017 playground with a couple picnic tables and grill near by, tennis courts, basketball court, and two baseball fields. In the winter there’s usually two ice rinks and the warming house.

This park is absolutely beautiful. There are a lot of parks in Minnesota. I believe this is in a very upscale part of town with people who have lots of $$$$ the park is so clean and well manicured I wish I lived closer to it so I could keep taking my kids there but I live a hour both.

It is a compact, little park with lots squeezed into it. Beware, the geese droppings are tremendous! Watch your step. But plenty of parking and there is a stroller/walking path through the park and nearby neighborhood. There is basketball, hockey, tennis and baseball but no soccer fields. There is also a brightly colored playground.

Has everything you need. Kind of tucked away. Batting cages, diamonds, really cool playground (usually inhabited) beautiful pond, and tennis courts in ok condition. 10/10 would wake up there again

Heres what you need to know:Parking: LotAge range (playground): 1+Sidewalks: Paved to and around play areaSeating: Benches around play areaBathrooms: In warming housePicnic tables: 1 by play areaGrills: 1 large grill by play areaSports field: Several including tennis and basketball courts (see full listing here)Contrary to several of the pictures of the park on Google Maps, Wilson is newly remodeled--and beautifully so. Except for the warming house, it looks like the park in its entirety got a face lift. The grill and picnic table are located right off the parking lot. Behind them sit the play area, which includes a playground for little kids (1+) and another for big kids (3+), a climbing net, merry-go-round (the contemporary kind), seesaw, a double-seater spring rider, and swing set.The little kid playground has slides, a mix-and-match activity (think tic-tac-toe but with pictures), and some age-appropriate climbing obstacles.Theres also a cute little window for peek-a-boo or a puppet show of sorts. Zoey (17 months) enjoyed the mix-and-match activity and had little trouble making her way around this play structure. The big kid playground also has slides (watch out for the double slide--its steep!), stairs, ladders, and other climbing obstacles. Titus (3) had a little more trouble scaling this structure, simply because he wasnt tall enough to, while Madi (4.5) navigated it without any issues.Contrary to the traditional climbing net, the one here at Wilson is geometrically intriguing. Its diamond-shaped instead of rectangular. Kids can climb inside or outside of it.My kiddos found the merry-go-round especially fun. Its got several seats carved out, complete with handle bars if kiddos are more adventurous and opt to stand. Had I not been about 38 weeks pregnant at the time of our visit, I would have pushed them around in it a lot longer. The swing set is generously stocked with regular and baby swings. Theres also a strange-looking swing that seats two. Its kind of like they hung a shovel: kiddos can either sit on the neck or in the scoop of it (dont worry: I took a picture just to show ya!).The double-seated spring rider takes the shape of a caterpillar and is still in mint condition (like the rest of the park). Even at my size, I wasnt concerned Id squash the bug, per se.The seesaw sits in the corner of the play area. Taller kids can ride it standing. Mine couldnt. They enjoyed [trying] to get it to work, but eventually gave up and opted to run around in the tennis and basketball courts next door. With its renovation, Wilson Park has plenty of years of play ahead. I wish the picnic area was better stocked with grills and tables. Although I didnt get to check out the warming house, it looks like there are bathrooms located on site.We visited close to lunchtime and there was only one other mom and child there. Considering summer sports activities and the range of sports fields located at Wilson, my guess is that it gets pretty busy here during the evenings.Aside from its potential for traffic, the park is backed right up to neighbors yards. Unless you mind being so close, there isnt much else missing at Wilson Park.

As of 2017 they replaced the playground and leveled low lying grassy areas. Excellent little park.
