I love this skating rink only thing they needs is BETTER AND NEW ROLLER-SKATES as possible

A lot of fun for the family. It is definitely on the comeback. For years it was Kates back in the day and many wonderful memories. It went downhill for a while but now has been restored to a place you can have a great time. Not as it was back in its heyday but nothing can be like it was back then. Staff is super friendly and helpful. I spoke with the owner for a while and he would love to see it make the great comeback, as I would too. Take time to visit and remember some of those glory days. Even the staff and the owner likes to help you remember those days. We will be back soon. They are having a FREE, yes, FREE SKATE December 22 from 1-5. That would be a great time to go check it out. Too good of a gem not to give it some props. Great job owner and staff for a wonderful day.

The staff was super nice and helpful. Fun skating games in between songs. Was well maintained would definitely go back again.(I need practice)

Definitely a fun spot. Off the beaten path and old but still just as fun as it was when I came here as a kid. Sizes for all with skate rentals and no big crowds to fight with. Good times today.

Friendly staff, affordable, not crowded...I was pleasantly surprised to find this rink online and brought 7 girls to try it out for my daughters birthday. I was expecting tons of kids, but we mustve picked a good time and the girls had much of the floor to themselves! The DJ played good music that was decent for all ears and also played a group game. My teens had a great time and want to go back. Appreciate the atmosphere the staff has put together, and the light display when they put the house lights down is awesome!Brought another group of 11 skaters back and had a great time. Cant stress the family friendly atmosphere enough.

Billy and Jennifer are absolutely amazing owners they love the kids so much and they go above and beyond to make sure everyone has a great time.

This is a great skating rink. Everyone that goes here is friendly! People are willing to help you out if you fall down. Its positive vibes for the most part and everyone has a great time. To me, its kind of cheap getting in. We always have a great time and I think you would too

The atmosphere is nothing like I remember the skating rink being.

Its a great place for kids and teens because its safe and fun. The only thing bad i can say is that you have to be careful driving back there to it. Its behind an old grocery store, and that parking lot entry way is full of deep potholes.The skating rink parking lot is fine.

We took our four children Friday night . It was very affordable and the kids had a wonderful time . All the employees were very nice and the skating rink was very clean . You can purchase snacks and drinks, they also have a little arcade . We highly recommended

Pretty dang okay. Had fun didnt break my ankle although I did get shown up by this like 80 year old dude he was wack. Some girl kept pointing at me also I think she was a ghost or maybe she just had a stroke and was asking for help. Overall lots of fun though will definitely maybe possibly certainly be back.

It was the best experience Ive had with a skating rink. They are very kind and they grow on you a little bit. After going there for a while now, I think its a fine place to go and chill out with all of your friends and also to make friends.

Always fun. I dont worry too much about dropping the kids off.

This is a very kid-friendly place, they are very protective over the children there oh, and they dont let any trouble take place. My kids love going here and the staff is awesome

The rink is the best hangout place ever its safe to leave ur kids there because once there in there they cant leave until u come get them and the workers are supper nice they have good food and the owners are really nice ive been going there for about. 2 yrs now and i have never stop going ... And its kid friendly

Best place to go we are like a big happy family if you follow the rules correctly and you actually look on the website to see that you know you have to make a reservation before you come up here and try and do your own thing and throw a party without management knowing then obviously youre not going to get a good experience

Its a really fun place to hang out with your friends, and most importantly skate. It takes practice but if you go a lot youll get better. But kylies has a really nice owner and staff.

I was here because my kids were invited to a birthday party, and they had a great time. The food was great, the prices were good, and they had a wide variety of items for sale such as fidget spinners and t-shirts that my kids enjoyed shopping for.

Very kid friendly atmosphere with good music for kids to skate to. Shelby does not have much to offer for young people, and this is the nicest place they can go hang out while in a safe environment.

A train was sitting outside and my girlfriend and i got up to look at it as her mom was pulling in to pick us up. A very large old man hopped out of his truck and began screaming at us to get away from it, accused me of stealing the key(the key was on top of the train, when i pointed this out, he said i threw it up there), then told us to never come back. He pointed at the cameras and told me i was lying, so when they watch the footage and see i did not touch that key, i hope they feel good abot losing customers because one fella wants to act psycho. Also it stinks, the floor is sticky, the owners kids are rude, the owners are rude, people who got our skates are rude, food is expensive and not tasty. He threatened my girlfriend and i and if an owner responds and says this is not true, i have several witnesses. Shouldnt have to fear for my girlfriend and my own safety at an establishment for children.

Worst experience in my life! Out of food and refuses to give family package deal. Then offers package deal for $5 more with drinks only. And on top of that, No Air conditioning! I have never been to a business that literally behaved as if my business was unwelcome. Will never return.

The place is really unsanitary. We did have a fun time though. Its a great place for birthday parties or just to meet with friends

I got very scared because when me and my mother got there to pick up my sister and her boyfriend up a very large and scary man came up to the car and started yelling about how him and her stole the key to this train that was sitting out front. He said he had them on camera and we could come look. He made me have a panic attack and then said to not come back. I don’t want to go back. Very rude and scary. Can’t even see it because it’s behind a dirty flea market and there is a phsycho man that will accuse you of stealing. Just go to Kate’s skates in lincolnton this place is trash.

Okay so this goes out to the people that hate on this place...so this place is the best place I’ve ever been to tbh and I grew up here. For u haters u can keep it to yourself so u can get out. You came here so if u don’t like it leave for all I care
