Out of 3 go karts only one was any good. Made several comments about how slow the karts were and nothing was done about it. Tried again and ended up with 2 good karts and same old slow one. No offer to change karts even though we were only ones there. Even at the end they kept same slow kart in the line up.

This is a hidden gem in our community. Great fun for the family and the par 3 golf course is remarkably well kept. The driving range is the best in the area. This course is located right beside Deerbrook Golf Club which is a beautiful and challenging golf course.

Best Par 3 on this side of Charlotte NC. Greens are great and Its lit up for night play. Not a difficult walk and they provide pull carts. Tricky greens even for Better golfers it offers a challenge and considering how inexpensive it is and plus they a driving range and other features in the same complex and a putting green too... Go and enjoy if you have never been you want be disappointed...

Went to play Putt-Putt with my family their online information said they were open until 22:00. We got there at 20:05 and they were not even open. We called and they told us that they dont open fully till May 15th. They really need to update there wedsite. I really enjoy taking my family here from time to time. There prices are good and most of the time the staff is pretty friendly.

Not called challenger 3 anymore, its oakland or something like that. They still have all the same stuff besides bummper boats, plus the batting cages were broke and they talked about getting rid of them. Which besides gocarts that was one of the funnest things to do. They redid the putt putt course

Oak mills amusement park is the old challenger 3 fun park in shelby. I had a birthday party there on Saturday (10/12/19)for my son. One of the workers (Noah) is very disrespectful. I was told, when i booked the party to pay the deposit and then the full balance due after the party. Noah came in the party room during the party to yell for us to pay the balance left. Nevermind the fact my child was opening gifts and i had a room full of guest. But then thru the whole day he yells 4 more times. As if he was trying to say i was a thief. Like i was going to leave and not pay. The first time i went to go pay the lady at the counter, she didnt know how to cash me out. So how am i to pay a bill if your workers dont know their job? So she calls him up there and i told him how he made me feel throughout my childs party and his explanation was that last week someone walked out without paying...well thats not my issue. And i dont like the way he made me and my guest feel and for that i will NOT visit nor have another party there...and this was the 2nd party my son has had here..If i could give you no stars thats what youd get!!!

A really great place to go for a family fun day! We got the $20 wristband and did the go-karts, bumper boats, and mini-golf. This was a tremendous value. Steve and Hayley (sorry for spelling) were both outstanding during our visit. I felt they were genuine, personable, and professional. If you are in the area and are looking for a fun place just go.

Small shop with cold drinks and good hospitality. Fair pricing on their par 3 course and no fee for bugee usage. Course had a constant breeze with felt amazing on this 90+ degree day.

This is such a lovely way to spend your afternoon! Family friendly with an 18-hole par three golf course, 7 batting cages, driving range, mini-golf, rock wall, bumper boats and 3 go-kart tracks. They also offer birthday party packages with pizza, drinks, party room, arcade tokens, and other activities! We love the sun and fun for our crew every season.

Good place for Birthday party but, website needs updated to say what they dont offer anymore! No pizza, kids dont get tokens for arcade and you have to bring your own table cloth,napkins/plates/cups! I dont think bumper boats are operational!

Amazing place to take the kids for a little fun

Great little park. Go-Karts are assume again. The driving range look good and well maintained as well as the par 3 course. Kids loved the batting cages. If you got turned off a year ago I understand but go back try the park again it is under new management.

The staff is really bad. They were very mean to us when we were riding the go karts. One of them was nice it was just one big fat dude who was being really rude to us.

Looks like a fun little place, but we came when it stated it was open, however there was no one there. We tried to find someone with no luck.

Disappointing. First time here and i had to jump through hoops to give them my money. If it hadnt been for another customer I wouldnt have known what to do. Theres a super faded sign leaning against a fence that says call this number for service. Bought a few tokens for the batting cage since I didnt know how much my daughter would like it and the guy hardly spoke and then left. Would have spent a lot more money if there had been someone to give it to and if I wasnt made to feel like calling the employees was an inconvenience to them.

I love this place they have a golf driving range, batter practice cage, go carts I love the go carts me and my family go ride them often when weather permits they also have go carts for amatures, a wet course go cart track, bumper boats and a Putt-Putt course to lots to do and its beautiful there as well your family will have a GREAT time

Kids had a blast. The arcade area is lacking excitement...and the machines are outdated. It smelled like it has been sitting for years and hasnt been cleaned.

Its was OK when my wife, daughter and myself rode the first time. My daughter wanted to ride again with me in double seater again so went to pay then the red headed punk on the maintenance cart started hell hacking me about my daughters height to ride. We have been there before and rode with her with no problems. So needless to say they will not and didnt get another dollar from me. Also I put her up to the measuring sign and proved to his dumb ass she was legal

I have played this course over 50 times in my life and do every time I come home for leave from whatever Army base I am stationed at. Within the last few years the service has continued to drop and the employees have been downright crass. Two weeks ago I played and the greens were so bumpy I couldnt putt and the greenskeeper was spraying as I played and almost sprayed my kid. Tonight after my kids asked to hit driving ranges balls I took my 5 year old and 3 year old to hit balls. We arrived at 7:15 PM and purchased $10 bucket and a $5 bucket and I even asked if we had time to hit them and she replied with attitude depends on who is hitting them but we close at dark I asked for a specific time she said when it gets dark or 830. Around 7:45 the employee started hovering over me and my kids and begin telling us to speed up. After a few minutes I asked if we needed to leave and she said I was telling the kids to hurry up I then asked her to please respect my kids and she asked us to leave and never come back. My three year old and five year old began to cry and cried all the way home. I am extremely upset about my treatment and plan to never return. If you plan to spend money on golf or driving range I would suggest taking your money somewhere else.

It is a Friday night at 8:30pm, drove a half hour for my cousins birthday get there and they are closed! Even tho I called yesterday night and they said they would be open. It is ridiculous you call get told one thing even the website says they are open and then you get there and they are closed. Will not be returning.

Hello all you happy people! I just left Challenger 3 and it was great! I was originally going to go to Zuma in Charlotte, NC, until I remebered the run-down equipment and the way the staff at the go-carts were afraid to comment on the people who slammed into the back of the cars in front of them upon returning to the car barn. (lawsuit waiting to happen) I checked on-line, and read that other customers had similar experiences. One such person recommended that I save my money and drive to Gastonia. I just happened to be staying at a motel in Gastonia so I asked someone at the front desk if they knew of a place that was similar to Zuma. An attendant told me I had to try Challenger 3. I checked on-line, and she was right. I must say, or type, when we first arrived, we were less than impressed with the presentation of the park. But, the laid back and easy going atmosphere was, in itself, the best part of the park. It was not crowded, but had a steady flow of customers. The staff was limited but responsive and professional. The rides were weathered but they worked perfectly. And last but not least, the ground are clean and neat and the landscape is picturesque. I hope to return very soon with a larger group.
