Very clean,friendly but elegant place to stay. Staff went above and beyond as far as covid protocol goes. Had a very pleasant experience. Room was nice and cozy,very high ceilings and massive comfortable bed. Stayed in the presidential suite. Will book again for sure

My wife and I were in need of a vacation - we found Blue Harbor online and decided immediately it was the place. So beautiful. The town is cozy, nice restaurants everywhere, and the hotel is incredible and views breathtaking. Make sure to get a room with a balcony facing Lake Michigan.

Was not happy bed uncomfortable staff not so friendly

Wanted to stay on the water front and this actually looked like a nice place from the photos and reviews. Well for the cost paid and the actual services & room appearance it was definitely overpriced. Room was very normal with drab gray walls. Not impressed and if it wouldnt have been a non refundable trip we would have left and looked elsewhere. So very happy all of our plans were doing things off site. Enjoy the waterfront sunrise I shot. Its probably ok for family outings here since the do have a large indoor waterpark.

Stayed at the resort in a 4 bedroom villa this past weekend (10/23). When making the reservations 6 months prior, I requested the first building facing Lake Michigan because of the close proximity to the waterpark. She said she would make a note, but she only makes reservations & did not assign rooms. At check-in we were told we were in the very last building, furthest away from the pool. Spoke w/manager Melissa and she said she saw my request, but there was nothing she could do. Her attitude was take it or leave it. The kids found jelly beans in the bunk beds and we found Trivia Pursuit game cards in the couch. So disappointing! I paid over $1,200 for this weekend. No adjustment to my bill even though Melissa said she would. We will not return.

Visited the waterpark. Its ok for half price afternoons. Not worth $30 per person during busy hours. Gotta be 16 to use the hot tub which I partially understand but there is no place for kids to warm up then. Its ok once a year, no more.

Great place for a get away with the kids. Location is wonderful, we have always had a peaceful and fun experience. Manager, Stew, was helpful with questions. Life guards seemed to be very attentive to the pool areas. Food in the restaurant was great!

Beautiful resort located on the shore of Lake Michigan within walking distance of shops and restaurants. This place has everything, including an indoor water park/arcade for the entire family or a more adult oriented area outdoors with another swimming pool, plenty of lounge chairs and bar! The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable. I gave 4 stars because it is a bit pricey (I paid close to $250 for one night).

This was a last minute trip out of town from Chicago with the family. From the moment I was there to the end arriving was perfect. Great for the small kids as well mini golf and the water park! Accommodated my request for a view of the lake as well! I will be back again with my family. Good breakfast in the am you do have to pay separately from your hotel charge I didnt mind.

Relaxing, nice views of lake. Wounderful walking, reading and than pool time. Slides, rides and shore games. Close to paid fishing boats. The Ambiance is not like it used to be the fountain has been removed and lots of other cool aspects are gone but the lake views are spectacular.

Checked in 10/16/20 it was very easy and the front desk receptionist was very nice. My family and my have been coming to the resort for many years and never had any issues. Came to the room after 9pm to find that the toilet seat was was broken and it was a ton of hair inside the shower, with it being a pandemic I wouldn’t have expected this to happen since the resort has never failed me in the past. This really disappointed me so now it’s 7:30 am and maintenance is coming to service the toilet and housekeeping is coming to clean the bathroom. People have lost job and lazy people that are working are so ungrateful that they are working. This could have been avoided if the housekeeper could have cleaned the bathroom and informed someone about the broken toilet seat.

Great family get away. Beautiful lobby where you check in. Nice indoor water park, nice rooms. I only wish the television was on rotating mounts. I would also go with less firm mattresses, and not such thick pillows or at least offer pillow options since theres four per bed. The young man Matt who makes omelettes does a great job, be sure to get the breakfast buffet, it is a good one.

I used to visit this resort every summer in the early 2010s. Havent been in a few years but would like to return. Ive had lots of great memories here that ill never forget. It literally has everything - big rooms, waterpark, great lobby, outdoor activities, private beach, etc.. Hoping to return soon.

The water park is decent. The room size is pretty large. The restaurants were all closed due to covid.

We had a very enjoyable stay over Labor Day weekend. The faculty is very nice with gorgeous views of the lake. Everyone was friendly.

My review is based upon the fact that Im in a wheelchair. For as large as this resort is, there was only a couple handicap parking spots, and not close to the entrance near our room. The toilet was very low, and bed very high. Basically they met the minimum requirements to be an accessible room. Room was dated. I was able to get out to the path neat the lakeshore. Pricey for bottom floor.

Absolutely beautiful!! Spacious rooms, beautiful views of the lake. Well maintained lobby and grounds. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Even the lifeguards are fun and friendly.

Breaker bay was ok, you do run out of things to do after a while. The room, well I expected better then a bloody bed, unclean dresser, and rude bartenders then I got. The rest of the staff was polite. The sofa sleeper was more comfy then the bed. Oh, and if you get a jacuzzi suite, run a tub full and clean out the tub before you use it. It was like someone had poured black oil in the tub once we turned the jets on. And of course I was already in the tub when I turned the jets on. Yuck

High priced restaurants, long wait for food, even when small count of people there, and that was delivered cold! Only 1 washcloth in bathroom in our room, when there was the 2 of us staying. Very cold and drafty while Starfire was playing downstairs. Our Saturday night high priced pork tenderloin dinner was very tough. Nice place, otherwise, though too much for my pocketbook.

It is a great place for kids, and the town there is amazing. There are stores and restaurants right by the lake. And the view is amazing. There is a beach right by the hotel and a boardwalk. Highly recommend

Went here for the Waterpark! A bit crowded due to the Labor day weekend despite the Pandemic, a lot of people, no social distancing, but we took precautions.Game machines for kids, good staff, cafetería inside for snacks, areas for parents and adults to relax, lot of lifeguards around all areas which made us feel saved. Planning already our next trip here!

We had a blast, the place was extremely clean and very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel room was spotless and the kids loved that it had an additional loft with queen size bed. The view from our room was amazing,we over looked lake Michigan. Water park is great for all ages, with the basketball hoops to the water slides. And for the indoor body/surf wave machine they have AWESOME. My 4yr old daughter even did it.

Good stay at Blue Harbor. Kids enjoyed the water park. We had a 4 BR villa which seemed overpriced, particularly considering the condition, the clothes dryer was really busy and did not set clothes, the floors were severely gouged and the place overall on the exterior looks unkempt and could use a good cleaning/washing.

We had the best time with our two kids at blue harbor . The hotel is amazingly beautiful and super clean. The front desk girls were friendly and made us feel welcome. The water park is nice, our kids ages 8 and 11 enjoyed it quite a bit. The location is fantastic.

State Farm has been amazing !! The customer service has been impeccable and they treat me like family. They are always there for me any hour if the day. Ian so glad they are in my home town and near by as well I can always pop in to talk to anyone. Thanks for all you do !!!

I think sam from Rocks was fantastic. We did however forget our cards under the fridge in cabana 4, michael was great at getting them back to us. I told him where we hid them and that told us they are not disinfecting very well of the staff didnt see it. Otherwise we will definitely be back.

The location of the resort is great. The was a nice place but the thing that turn me off was the cleanness of our rental. The tub was filthy and had dirt and hair in the hot tub jets. The restaurant food wasnt good at all. it was like hospital food. The price of this place should not have these problems.

It was just OK need to have a better place to eat Breakfast and dinner? For the price of the rooms needs better Restaurants in the motel. Room was nice and love the fireplaces need the bed in there so you can watch TV from Bed. It could be a five star so easily.

This was a great hotel with a fun water-park and tons to do. The setting on the lake really added to the splendor of the building, and the rooms were accommodating and clean. It was a very enjoyable place to spend a getaway at.

My absolute favorite water park! Comfortable temperature and clean. Safe for younger children.My family has stayed in various rooms: loft suite, 2-bedroom suite, and grandparents room. Weve also stayed in the 2 and 4 bedroom condos which accommodate larger parties.This summer, we enjoyed the 90° weather by spending time on the beautiful sand beach. Lake Michigan was delightfully icy and clear with a hard sand bottom, no rocks. Water was waist deep for yards and no sudden dropoffs in the swimming area.The water park has 2 body and 2 tube slides, a lazy river, hot tub, shallow pool with basketball hoops, jungle gym area, and a smaller area for young children. For the more adventurous and athletic, a surfing ride. If its too warm inside, enjoy the outdoor pool, bar, and lounge area. Hungry? Their chicken wrap was good. The kids dined on hot dogs, chicken fingers, burgers, and pizza. Weve always been too busy staying wet to visit the spa. The kids love taking grandma to the gift shop and ice cream parlor. The restaurant is convenient and has a varied menu. Their artichoke dip was fantastic!

We are currently staying at Blue Harbor Resort in a 2 bedroom villa and it is absolutely wonderful. It truly feels like a home away from home. There is enough room for the kids to run around and the adults to have space to themselves. The kitchen is great for homemade meals so we arent eating out for every meal. The is a spa with many services. The water park is fun for all ages. I have a 1 year old and a 10 year old and it was hard to get them out of the water for meals. The arcade is wonderful as well. Great weekend away!

Neat buildings. Not very good amount of dishes and cooking stuff when renting a house. Blankets on kids beds barely big enough to reach edge of bed. No extra bedding stored in house. Comfy bed. Water park is pretty awesome and like that they dont over crowd it by having a limit to day passes so those who are staying get preference. Only gone in winter. Wouldnt mind trying the beach and lake in summer.

We had a family reunion and everything went great. Service was exceptional. This picture is of a traditional Wisconsin country dish. I think its called shrimp boil.Great water park. If you get bored theres always other things to do like volleyball, outdoor sports, beach and outdoor pool.

We stayed in the Kids Aquarium Suite. There was a Queen bed in the living area with a pull out couch and table with chairs; the kids had a separate themed room with no door that had a twin bunk bed; and a bathroom with the sink on the outside of the bathroom. The waterpark is great, both inside and outside pools were really nice and fun. The resort is absolutely stunning. Lots to do during the day, not so much at night since pool closes at 9pm. The area shuts down pretty early but maybe that was because of Covid-19. Area restaurants are pretty good. The general manager took care of any issues we had which is why I cannot complain.

I booked a suite in July and had to cancel just 2 days after booking due to parties in our group having symptoms of Covid with exposure. It wasn’t safe for us to go nor was it safe for other people at the hotel to be exposed unnecessarily. They still charged me one night penalty even after I explained the situation to them and was willing to provide medical documentation. Horrible!

The service and food and prices are outstanding. We love to pick up our order and picnic by the water.

The water park is really fun very nice staff at the waterpark and the front desk! but when we ordered someone to fix our stuff he smelled like cigarettes and weed which is really not okay for a kid friendly resort!!

The rooms were beautiful very clean pool was very nice not to crowded and water park was my daughters favorite part of our stay! Will definitely be back! Shannon who we originally made reservation with was so helpful and nice she gave lots of recommendations wich we used and was just so accommodating and pleasent! Melissa from guest services was also very helpful and nice you can tell she is very proud of the establishment and the employees so thank you!we can’t wait to come back before the end of summer!

Just stopped in for a couples massage and a coffee. It was so great. Was a little expensive, but a wonderful anniversary gift to each other.beautiful resort and view. We lucked it to have such a warm December day just before Christmas. Resort was decked out nice for the holidays.

I was really hoping my weekend experience would have been better. After checking in for our villa we were not told they’re numbered in 400s while the villa numbers/our mapped room number was in the 700s. So 719 really meant 419, unnecessary confusion there. It was also a chore to figure out how to contact the front desk, the space had little to no information about what it’s like to stay at a villa. I was not impressed by the “fully stocked” kitchen as it was lacking pot holders, appropriate chopping knives, and a potato peeler. Things that are essential to a kitchen and didn’t think I’d have to bring with me. The foot traffic above us was very audible. Our tub leaked on the bathroom floor every time we showered due to a poor caulk job. I found the water park to be messy with food on the floor and ants crawling to it, never saw a dedicated staff member for cleaning throughout the day. The outdoor walkway behind the hotel was very nice and the view beautiful. Maybe I’d try again when going outdoors in warmer weather is an option.

Room was very nice. Bedding including pillows were extremely comfortable. I got a great nights sleep here. The water park was fun and the facility was clean. The only downfall to this place is the parking. Thats why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.

This is the second time I’ve tried to use my gift card which we received as a Christmas gift last year. According to the gift card requirements and Blue Harbor Resort operator you must redeem in person therefore I needed to book over the phone. Unfortunately, I was unable the first time to reach anyone over the phone to book. Today I tried booking again at 8:45am. I was on the phone for a total of 15 min without speaking with anyone. Then I was able to leave my number but still have not heard back so I am unable to book and use my gift card. I can book online but cannot use my gift card. I was told only one person is working today that can help me book a room and they will call me back if they’re able to... seems like they don’t need or want our business. I’m sure it’s a great place if I could book it.UPDATE: did not get a phone call back at all on 12/27

Its a beautiful and enjoyably place to spend days relaxing all through. The water park is all warm, entertaining and safe for children. Its all about having a good memories with every days you spend in Blue Harbor Resort.

We booked and stayed in their 2 bedroom villa. It was absolutely wonderful! I live in upper Michigan and my in-laws live in Illinois so we met up and stayed here. My girls loved that they had bunk beds, the kitchen was great, the fireplace was super cozy and the lake view was gorgeous! Definitely worth the money we paid to stay there!

Very beautiful place. Water park is the only real thing to do besides eat outside of summer. Pricey but clean, good staff. Kids loved the water park 9 and 6. Went during spring break and was crowded but never felt like it was at capacity. Very serene surroundings.

Blue Harbor did a very good job of being attentive to cleanliness and keeping people likeminded about being safe and separated. The best was the fact that the water park was open to resort guests only. We had 3 boys with us and my wife and I were able to have a quick date at Stefanos for dinner. They limited occupancy to 25%. Blue Harbors game room could use some new games and contain actual video games instead of all ticket games to win a pair of Chinese finger cuffs or a monogramed dog tag...

We had a nice overnight stay for an event. Check in was smooth and rooms were ready early. I noticed they made some updates to the doors (keys wave in front to unlock), furniture, paint. I really dont like the towel card policy for the waterpark. Also wish the hot tub would allow kids under 16 like they used to. That is our sons favorite part because he gets cold so quickly. I like having single or double tubes on the slides. The lifeguards are very attentive.

The villas were nice, but not very clean. The drawers were full of food & garbage, floors needed to be swept/washed, & band-aids were stuck to the beds. We sanitized the entire room to ensure nobody in our group got sick and felt as though we left the room cleaner than when we arrived.As for the waterpark, we wished that staff that get close to customers wore masks, but they didnt all do that. We didnt see anything get wiped down after use, but the waterpark was at minimal capacity which helped somewhat.The worst issue we encountered was the main restaurant being closed & no breakfast was available onsite. Only the bar was open for lunch & dinner with a very limited menu. The hotel should have made an effort to let customers know there were no real dining options before arrival! In addition, the bar staff was not friendly despite being very slow. We received no service and had to leave without eating.

This is a great place to take a family vacation. The rooms are big enough even though there isnt much privacy (we hadtwo adults and three kids ages 7, 7 and 4 staying in an aquarium suite.) The water park is a nice size and the lifeguard staff seemed very competent. Even though it was too chilli to spend time on the beach we still had lots of fun walking up and down the shoreline. We had a beautiful lakeside view and every room has a small balcony which is nice. There are two things that stopped me from giving 5 stars. They both might have come from staffing issues due to Covid but it was still disappointing given that they are still charging the same pre Covid rates. One are the food options. One restaurant is completely closed and the other one has an extremely limited menu. Your only breakfast options are at the small cafe. The options are cold cereal, doughnuts or a gross premade breakfast sandwich (Kwik Trip is 100% better.) They dont have any fruit, not even bananas for a smoothie. And there are only two people working in the cafe so you stand in a non social distanced line for 30 minutes. The situation is not fair to the workers or the hotel guests. My second complaint is the housekeeping. The bunk beds in our rooms had one thin sheet on top of a plastic mattress. The pull out bed did not have any bed linens and there were none anywhere in the room. We called for more bedding and no one brought any. The roll of toilet paper was almost empty and we had to call twice before they brought some. Next time I would have the kids bring sleeping bags but I assumed for around $300 per night that a hotel would provide bedding.Even with our issues I would definitely come back again in summer or winter. Its fun for the whole family. We also visited Shaw playground and I high recommend that as well.

The water park is a great place for family fun. Decent prices for all day pass. If you arent a resort guest, be sure to get your tickets first thing in the morning because they sell out fast. #waterpark

Very rude staff! We called ahead in the morning to see if they were at capacity or if day passes would be available that day. The front desk very rudely told us it was first come first serve. So, we drove an hour to the resort only to be told they were not offering day passes at all for the entire weekend! If we had gotten there and it was sold out, thats one thing and a risk we knew we would be taking, but for the staff to neglect to tell us day passes were not even offered that entire weekend, have us drive an hour to the resort, and have the front desk tell us very rudely that day passes are not available at all is unacceptable.

Always a great time staying at Blue Harbor. Staff is always friendly and helpful. We love the rooms and the views. Its out of the way and self contained to make it a perfect retreat for the family.

This is a magnificent resort! Its grande and the property is sprawling! Our room even had a jacuzzi. The only downside is that for the price you pay, they should be able to serve at least a continental breakfast.

We stopped in to take a look around. They have a very nice place, relaxing, scenic, many things to see and do.

Very clean and beautiful property. The water park is not huge but more than enough for younger kids. The water park never felt crowded. The rooms and the water park were clean and had friendly staff. Plenty of restaurants around and the cafe in the water park had food at a fair price.

The indoor water park is amazing it has multiple water slides that are huge and indoor surfing station, hot tub and pool with lots of fun games you can play with the kids including a big arcade by far one of the funnest things for kids in Sheboygan

Customer Service is very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful view and beautiful building. Waterpark was fun for children under 10 years old. Our room was clean but the beds are not comfortable and I could hear people in the hallway and jumping from upstairs.

Blue Harbor Resort is such an excellent place for a short getaway! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the resort is beautiful, the water park is tons of fun, the fitness center has several good options for exercise, and there are fun games to play! There is plenty to do rain or shine!

The hotel was nice. Clearly a little outdated but still nice. I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the hotel room. After check in and entering the room and looking around. The bathroom had a ton of hair in the bath tub and behind the door when it closed. The stink also still had hair in it. Very obviously hadn’t been cleaned from the previous guest. The floor in the room wasn’t vacuumed, still had little crumbs around the couch from where the previous guest had eaten. The front desk was notified but upon returning, nothing had been done. I’m guessing because I was only staying one night. Still all very easily correctable things with just a little more attention to detail and hopefully just a mistake by the cleaning and not a regular occurrence being that the hotel is on the expensive side for the area . I will say this the restaurant staff was extremely friendly and the food was very good. The front desk staff very friendly. The convenience of having the water park and spa on site was awesome. The location is very beautiful. To be totally honest I would explore other options next visit to the area and probably would advise others to do the same.

This place is incredible. We went for our Spring break and had an amazing time.Our room was insanely comfortable and very clean with beautiful views of the lake. And my kids LOVED that they had a separate room with their own TV.The water park had the best lifeguards I have ever seen, hands down. They were friendly to the kids and vigilant. There is plenty to do in the waterpark, though my kiddos were rather bummed that the bucket was broken during our stay.The food is a little pricey but very good throughout the entire hotel. And being able to charge to your room is a nice convenience.Personally I did not love the glow puttputt but my kids thought it was one of the coolest things ever. The arcade is like all others but was nice for something extra to do. And the gift shop has some really cool items and is worth checking out.And the town of Sheboygan overall was impressive. Loved all the shops downtown, the coffee shop across the street and the Kohler Arts Center. So much to do. We plan on going back next year for sure.

I went here with my family for a relaxing weekend and definitely did. Comfortable beds and plenty of space. Took a walk with my family along the beach trail, had a great breakfast then spent the day at the water park and had a great time. The staff was friendly and helped you whenever you needed help. I enjoyed the flow rider and meet some very nice and friendly lifeguards. The lifeguard Nate let the us play on the flow rider when the water park was supposed to close. In all wonderful place.

We LOVED our visit! The staff was all beyond amazing at all times. The entire resort was family friendly which is a huge deal for me. Very spacious rooms, clean halls, clean waterpark, clean arcade, clean mini golf area. The restaurant in the waterpark was very affordable and had tons of options for both kids and adults. The staff in the waterpark was always happy to assist kids with activities, etc. The entire place is top notch! We will definitely return for another vacation!!!!

The location is easy to find, the food was delicious, the gym was good enough to get in a decent workout, the trail is ideal for a morning run, and the view from the rooms is great! I have no complaints.

This lovely resort feels like a bit of the east coast in the Midwest. The beachfront location, architecture of the main building, spacious layout of the four bedroom villa in which we stayed, and excellent service were appreciated by all of the people in my party. The kids greatly enjoyed the indoor waterpark, which felt like being in Wisconsin Dells without the crowds. Unfortunately, I did experience a problem with my key card, but the service manager Sue Engler went above and beyond to correct the issue to my satisfaction. This just added to my overall excellent impression of the service at this resort. The food choices in the indoor waterpark could definitely be improved to include more healthy options. The evening bonfires on the beach with hotel provided smores packages were a nice family friendly touch. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and will definitely return.

Nice place. Our captains suite had a kitchen but no dishwasher though which was a little disappointing and housekeeping visited ounce over a 4 day 3 night stay even after we requested them in person to come at least 1 additional time. We had a nice time though and the food was good and everyone was friendly. And our children really did enjoy themselves (ages 6, 8, and 10).
