Create or join a league and play volleyball with friends. Play other teams based on skill level. Great music, vibe, food and drinks. We played 3 games in one evening and it went quick. We were able to practice some after our games. This was fun!!! If you have never been/done this, join a team.

The team at SMBV is absolutely fabulous! The facilities are well maintained and there are so many different teams that it is amazing how well organized the brackets are set up. I highly recommend this place for fun family and adult entertainment!

An amazing place to play with friends! Just dont bother asking for service while playing. For the past year its been hard to even order a cup of water. Most drinks or food dont come or arrive until 45 minutes later

Playing volleyball is so much fun! If that isnt enough, the food is amazing! Best bar food around! Come check it out!

Fun place to get in some volleyball!

I feel badly about leaving this review because I love this Beachs facility and the chillness of the atmosphere. However I think I should warn people that this facility has handled the pandemic horribly! They have promised to open more gates but the extra entrances and exits are only open on some days and closed on others, making socialcontact very hard to avoid. They do not enforce mask wearing at all and its very troubling. I have talked to others about this problem and they feel the same way.this place is not safe and they do not care about their customers health at all it appears. I wish some enforcement of the new rules would happen here, otherwise they are losing a lot of business for their carelessness. I have considered even to report the facility for their terrible conduct. I wish this werent the case but this place is a covid hotspot potentially :(. Stay safe out there!

Fantastic courts to play on! With call boxes at the courts to order food and drinks its easy to have a great time with a full service bar and kitchen. Rec leagues to pick up games this is a great location for spring and summer activities!

We went for a company event. We were all huddled under the large umbrellas the entire time because it was so hot out. They need way more options for shading. The food also was not good.

This place is a fantastic experience for volleyball players and fans of all kinds. Even onlookers can enjoy a beverage on the deck. The food is mediocre. Go for the volleyball!

Awesome place to take a group of friends and meet up once a week for some fun. Food is good too. Wouldnt recommend eating fish and chips plus an order of cheesy tater tots right before a game though...

So much fun. Atmosphere is great and play time is perfect. We loved being on a rec league.

Im playing in a league here. The courts are well maintained and the league is well run. I havent had the chance to try out the bar and grill.

Nice place to play volleyball

This review is strictly for the bar, not for the volleyball courts or overall experience. The bartender was exceptionally rude and borderline aggressive. It was unprovoked and unwarranted. I was asked if I wanted a drink, I said no because I was driving home and wasnt planning on drinking. She then immediately snapped back if I catch you taking even a sip I will throw you out. Okay...?? I wasnt drinking, wasnt planning on drinking, and had no intentions of sneaking a sip from anyone. She then proceeded to talk trash on me and my friends to other customers well within earshot. When asked why she was talking badly on innocent customers to other people, she began yelling at us. This is unacceptable behavior. This bartender should not be allowed to work if she is going to treat customers like this. I know I certainly will be taking my business elsewhere from here on out, as will my friends.

Sand volleyball is fun. The food and drinks are good. The service is usually pretty good. You get to meet new people. They have a lot of courts and several sessions.

Tons of fun and pretty affordable. Staff is generally nice and courts are always clean. They turn sprinklers on when it gets really hot so the sand doesnt burn your feet.

Very Nice facility, but the way the organize and name the levels are confusing....so many changing names. Also no mid level leauge for semi competitive teams.

Ive played there for several years and have had a great experience there. We decided to go up there on a Friday night just to get some food and didnt have a great experience.Tried the Cuban on another night and it was great.

It was good.

The volleyball is great, but the service isnt always great. One waiter took my card inside from the court to go run it (which is normal), but when he brought my card back, it wasnt mine. And mine had been given to someone else. So I had to cancel my credit card. That was annoying.

Been playing there for over 10 years. I thought this new set of employees were pretty good, until a disrespectful 16-17 yr old decided to be a smart ass and argue with me when I asked for a different ball. Telling me after 3 years he should know what ball is good. Really?!We go out there to let some stress out have fun, some drinks and get a lil workout in. Not to deal with know it all teenage employees mouths. Anyway I ended up with a rock hard ball. Maybe its time to hire some employees that respect their job.

Consistently going down hill. They never water down or rake the the courts anymore, the outdoor showers no longer spray your feet, if you order drinks or food at the court and dont specifically ask for your card back, they wont bring it to you...prices keep going up but service keeps going down.

If I were to post this review a few years ago I would have given 5 stars and wouldnt have had enough compliments. Ive been playing here for 5 years and previous management was amazing. They were friendly and always recognized you and were such a blast. And most importantly it was ran like a well oiled machine. So well ran! But since the change in management it has went so downhill. Food is not as good and prices seem to be more expensive. But I mainly go for the volleyball. The staff is not nearly as friendly. They are just there to do their jobs and collect a pay check. Communication is terrible. There were multiple times that previous management would call myself, the team captain, to notify of cancellations. They would return phone calls and emails inquiring about leagues promptly. Now we are lucky to get a response and if we do it will be too late. In fact one time, I signed up for an open session and submitted my payment as usual. When I went to the schedule a week later and didnt see our names, I called and inquired. It was a week before I could get a response. Once I did, I was told that the league had filled up before I signed up (though it clearly had openings online when I submitted my roster). Even though it had filled up, they had taken my money and didnt notify me so that we could sign up for a different session. As a result we missed out on playing completely. Im fairly certain if I hadnt called repeatedly, they would have kept my money and never contacted me. On top of that, the courts arent nearly as well maintained, they have ran out of balls before and often we cant get any water at the showers. Schedules are not posted timely and results somehow cant make their way to the website accurately. In short, this place has become a mess. It is such a shame because we used to have so much fun out there. I usually dont post reviews and do not mean a negative review to be nasty, but just hope that something can be taken away from my comments to improve it back to the fun place that it once was.

Great place to play some beach volleyball!

The inside smells like a toilet because they leave the bathroom doors open at all times.
