Best park ever!! My daughter oldest (16 ) and youngest (2) absolutely love it! Very clean and safe!

I really like this park if I need somewhere to go to sit and eat lunch or take a quick walk. They have covered picnic tables which is nice, and the bathrooms are usually fairly sanitary. They have made some improvements and there is now a small flower garden along the walking trail. Nice shade parking as well.

Good go to park, its sometimes really packed but there is plenty of play space for a good amount of kids. It has an awesome paved walking path and this park is dog friendly (on-leash). It has provided dog poop stations to clean up and dispose of messes as well as water fountains, bathrooms and gazebos for humans (which can be rented out).

Great park! It has many amenities such as benches along the path., trash cans/recycle bins, 2 gazebos for gatherings, provided dog poo bags at the beginning of the trail, a well kept garden, playground of course and my favorite, the restrooms. The path loop is about .5 miles.The park is well kept and clean.People who walk here are friendly, in a great location.Well-lit at night and close to the road. If I am here by myself, I don’t ever feel unsafe, day or night.The only drag is some people don’t really pay attention to the “flow” of the path. There aren’t rules on which direction to travel, but you would think most people would be considerate when it comes to Covid.Also, it’s not a bike path but people take it upon themselves and almost run you over without using proper bike etiquette! So be careful!

It is a very clean nice park. The bathrooms were clean also a major plus when you have kids needing to wash hands and use the restrooms

This is a great little park. Nice walking path, paved. Beautiful garden. Playground seems popular. Nice shelters and benches. The city does a great job of clearing the sidewalk when it snows.

Nice sidewalk walking path with plenty of trees, a nice playground, a party gazebo and their centerpiece flower garden in mid park.Makes for an enjoyable day at the park for locals or anyone needing to stretch their legs after a long drive on I-35.Always good for a visit, even well lit at night.

Happy I was finally able to take my son here, I loved this park when I was younger, he loves also its been well kept and have even added a new little garden which looks awesome.

Lovely park. Always nicely maintained and manicured. The rose garden is BEAUTIFUL during the summer. Frequented by many people during the warmer months. Great for the family with its kids play area. Always look very clean. Never any trash that Ive sern that was unnoticed and ignored. Super little community park in Shawnee.

Took a walk that was a tad too long and found this gem of a park. Plenty of benches for walkers like me that need a rest. My bench was in memory of a special gentleman. The park has wonderful mature trees and is so clean. Children were playing, pets were walking. Perfect neighborhood park.

Not really a good park for kids. My child was highly disappointed when we arrived at the park seeing that the playground was so little. The main attraction, the dragon, was covered in bugs and webs. And the only two swings were occupied the entire time we were there. Other than that, very clean and quiet park!

Absolutely beautiful park. We saw a band called The Rippers. They were awesome. We had a great time

This park is always so clean. A lot of people walk their dogs here, but you wouldnt know it. The paths do slope a little but not too much. Nice walking park!

The kids love going here. Large enough playground and usually there is a wide age range of other children with whom my kids can play.

This is a very nice park. Nicely paved walking path and exciting playground for kids with its own Sea Dragon. Well lit by lamps at night and in a residential area with great open parking.

This is a beautiful park. It is a great place to bring your kids, get your steps in for the day, or even to walk your dog. I sometimes just park here to enjoy a little break from my day in a beautiful, nature- filled place. I would definitely recommend West Flanders Park for a quick walk or just a place to recharge your batteries.

Ive been comming here since before I can remember, and this park is still one of my favorites. Its small, but has a great walking trail, rose garden, and a beautiful castle playground. Its in a safe area, and I just love it to pieces.

My family loves this park. Its well designed and can accommodate just about any outdoor activity. There are two pavilions, a nice playground, clean bathrooms, multiple benches, and plenty of parking. The park is on leash dog friendly. They have a bag station to allow you to clean up after your four legged friends.

Its a safe place and seems very friendly for people of all ages great for walking dogs or for taking kids to the park.

I stop here on Fridays while on route to use the bathroom. They have plenty of parking, a nice playground and plenty of walking area.

This park is so beautiful. It is a place where any child would love to go. The walking trail is always cleared off so you can do your thing.

This park is perfect for the entire family and it is very shady. The perfect park on a hot bright sunny day. It has a castle playground with a dragon to slay. There are big kid and baby swings. There is a walking trail and many benches to sit and enjoy. There are also lots of picnic tables and tons of grassy areas to enjoy. There are bathrooms and a water fountain at this location.

This is one of my favorite walking parks. I can hardly believe how much the trees have grown in 30 years!

Nice park, clean and free of graffiti. My daughter needed a diaper changed and my wife wasnt with me. Restrooms were closed, and I was told by a city worker they were dealing with lead paint. So I had to change her in the back seat of my car. I hope the make the restroom facilities father friendly with a changing station inside.

It was great. Me and my family had an amazing time. They have bathrooms as well as trash cans, they also have water fountains, a field, picnic area, and playground. They have a parking lot.

Its a pleasant neighborhood park. Lots of people walking their dogs. A nice playground for kids.

Beautiful neighborhood park. The play area could use a few toys that are better suited to one and two year olds. Our grandkids, first thru fourth grade love the play area. We ate our lunch under the gazebo by the parking. Whoever had a bunch of kids with juice boxes there should remember to gather up the little straws and straw wrappers and put them in the trash. Overall a clean park. I would suggest cleaningvtje castle with something to kill mold once or twice a year. Love the paved walking trail and benches along the way.

LOVE this Park!!

Very nice park to get your walking in or to walk your dog. It is extremely safe because the police monitor it and also people are good about picking up after their dogs and they are always on a leash.
